Except no kitchen there, everything prefect. Very nice location.

There were foundation marks on the pillow cases in the room. The floor of the public bathroom was dirty and it was on the first floor. To go to the bathroom to take a shower, you had to walk through the bar on the first floor, which was very inconvenient. The toilet is generally hygienic. I live on the second floor. At night, customers from the bar on the first floor come up to the second floor to use the toilet. The noise from the bar stops at 12 o'clock in the middle of the night.

It's a stylish hostel with a bar restaurant attached, but in reality the food and drink business seems to be more active. Looking at the reviews, it seems the management has changed since before, and the kitchen for guests that was previously advertised is no longer there, and there is only a microwave and what appears to be a kettle. The outlets in the hallway have also been blocked off, presumably to prevent charging, and the impression that the services offered are not very substantial. The location was easy to find, and the room was clean. There were no amenities available for rental, and I refrained from using the shower due to the atmosphere. The private room I rented was extremely simple, with just a bed, desk, and chair, and no hangers or anything like that. It seems fine if you're just looking for a place to sleep for one night.

My wife and I booked a double room in this hotel, which was quite large, and the room door already had an electronic lock! There is a restaurant on the first floor, and check-in is also at the restaurant counter. Check-in comes with a free drink from the restaurant. The kitchen has a simple microwave and kettle for use. The shower room is in the basement, and you must pass by the restaurant on the first floor. It feels a bit strange, and men may still go into the women's shower room by mistake. The design of this part is a bit strange. There is a bar behind the hotel, and it is very noisy before closing at night. Even if the soundproof air-tight windows are closed, it is still quite loud. Moreover, the door bow of the restaurant door on the first floor of the hotel is not cushioned enough, and closing the door will affect the upstairs!

The conditions at this hotel are extremely poor. The rooms lack basic amenities, including toilets, washbasins, chairs, and towels, and provide only two beds. The second floor has about eight rooms, accommodating over 20 people, but everyone shares just two toilets and washbasins, which is highly inconvenient. A noisy bar downstairs adds to the discomfort. Most unacceptable is the pricing policy: the earlier you book, the higher the price, and reservations are non-cancelable. I booked a room six months in advance for $300, while a week-long stay was only $150. I strongly advise against booking here. This is not a standard hotel; it’s the worst I’ve ever stayed in—overpriced, poorly equipped, and far below typical hotel standards. We visited this bar everyday on our trip. The food was great and the whole feel of the bar was cozy and relaxed. The drinks selection was vast! The staff really look after you and remembered us so greeted us like locals. Such a great find! We wish we would have stayed here also.

Great place with a great atmosphere. Really enjoyed our time there. Good coffees and hot chocolates too. I’ve forgotten the managers name (Mog-something)- a fabulous Polish man and he was hilarious, hospitable and had the best energy. Highly recommend

Took a chance and I was not disappointed. Very kind and hospitable staff with quality beer and food. Lots of choices to be had in the area, but you simply will appreciate this local and authentic place. Just so you know, they do have contactless pay available, which makes it very easy for us to us

If you need to talk to the manager Apolonia will tell you that "we are not allowed to give out our manager's contact information" so he doesn't know how his/her staff handle customer care. We will not persevere

We were 7 people so tried a few things. Place ok:ish. Dinner was ok:ish too, but only 1 guy was friendly, 3 female staff really rude, looked burntout. Would not go back again, and recommend to eat at Taste instead, the food was much better amd the staff really friendly.

Unfriendly staff, rooms were not yet clean when we arrived at 6pm. Even at 8pm our rooms were dirty and there was blood at our sheets. There was no kitchen at all, only one microwave and a water boiler that’s broken. Terrible expierence.

Most rude staff that I ever met. Super arrogant to their guests. We arrived at 18h, 2 of our rooms were not cleaned yet, they didn’t tell us so we had to go inform them. Reception is total chaos. I needed to wait an hour to pay for our stay. On booking you see a kitchen, there is only a microwave, no hot plates or other kitchen utensils.

Nice location in Akureyri main street. This place provides each guest the key tags to entering the room. The washrooms are spacious and clean. There are restaurants on the first floor and the breakfast are charged per person. The beds are not in very good shapes however. All the guards in our rooms are broken, the metal pieces are broken. Feels very unsafe to be hold on and to sleep on the top bunk especially for kids.
