A Horrible Experience – One Disappointment After Another I recently stayed at this property, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Let me walk you through what happened, step by step, because every day brought a new issue. 1. Poor First Impression: The trouble began the moment I arrived. They don’t even have a proper guest lift—just a service elevator. So yes, they took me and my luggage up through the staff/service entry. That was my first impression of what was supposed to be a "premium" property. 2. Misleading Room Booking: I had booked the room through Goibibo. Nowhere on the booking page—or any portal—did it say this was a non-smoking property. After checking in, they asked me to first “look at the room and decide” if I wanted to upgrade. That alone raised alarms. When I saw the room, it was terrible—no proper windows, no view, very basic setup. 3. Forced Upgrade Trap: I asked if I could switch to a better room. They said all rooms in this category were the same, and if I wanted something better, I’d have to upgrade by paying ₹5,000 + tax. This felt like a deliberate trick: advertise one room online, then upsell once you’re in. 4. Smoking Room Scam: Then came the smoking issue. When I asked for a smoking room, they told me the entire hotel was non-smoking—but if I paid another ₹5,000, I could get a balcony room where smoking was allowed. Again, a money trap. I refused to pay and ended up spending most of my time outside, smoking in the parking lot or by the pool area. 5. Valet Parking Is Fake: Another disappointment came at check-out. They claim to offer valet parking. Sure, they took my car at the start—but when it was time to leave, they just handed me the keys and pointed to where my car was parked. I had to go get it myself. That’s not valet service. 6. Paid Play Area in a "5-Star" Hotel: I visited the play area hoping to use the pool table. A staff member walked over and told me it would cost ₹500 per hour. In what 5-star hotel is every recreational facility chargeable? Absolutely ridiculous. 7. Poor Breakfast Quality: The breakfast spread was extremely limited. Only basic Indian food like paratha and pav bhaji. No continental options like sausages, no grilled veggies, no fresh bakery items, and not even an option for plain tea—only pre-made masala chai. Totally disappointing for a hotel that claims to be high-end. 8. The Worst: Check-Out Drama: Just when I thought it couldn’t get worse, check-out turned into a nightmare. They locked the gates and falsely accused me of smoking in the room. I hadn't smoked inside at all—I'd spent my entire stay outside in the parking lot to avoid this very issue. Still, they tried to force a ₹5,000 penalty on me. 9. Intimidation and Fear: They called security, surrounded me, and refused to let me and my partner leave. My girlfriend was terrified. The whole drama went on for more than two hours. It only ended when I said I was calling the police. At t
