Owner tried to charge for breakfast when the booking was already booked with breakfast. Owner wanted payment in cash, in rupees which was not specified at the time of booking. "The highlight of our stay was the food. A special thanks to Chef Mr. Hitesh, who prepared an excellent meal. The quality, taste, and presentation were impressive. The hotel staff also deserve appreciation for their enthusiasm, positive attitude, and team spirit, which made the overall experience pleasant. It was also nice to see that the restaurant is popular with local residents, which speaks well of the food quality. However, the property itself is in urgent need of renovation. Unfortunately, it is nowhere close to the standards one expects from a Taj SeleQtions hotel. The rooms and several public areas appear dated and show clear signs of wear and tear, which takes away from the overall experience. I have attached a few photographs to help illustrate the areas that require attention. I sincerely hope Taj considers renovating this property soon, as it has a dedicated team and excellent food, but the physical infrastructure does not currently reflect the premium standards associated with the Taj SeleQtions brand."
