Enjoyed our stay here. This is a unique hotel despite an air of faded glory. The staff are really laid back so don't expect very quick or overly attentive service. The live music at the weekends in the restaurant was great and creates a nice vibe. The restaurant needs a bit of a makeover and refresh to make the most of its location and potential. Days trippers can pay to use the hotel pool and this can be annoying as noisy families and groups bring their their own music and speakers ruining the peaceful vibe. This is a residential area. There are no restaurants nearby - it is a 20 min walk down to Playa Caletilla, The nearest shop to buy drinks etc.. is a 5-10 min walk. Its about a 45min walk to La Quebrada along the coast.

With links to the Hollywood stars of the 50’s this hotel still excludes the glamour of its prestigious past. Yes maybe in parts it’s showing its age but this stands as one of the most comfortable hotels i’ve stayed in. Everything you could want is here, history, comfort, the most beautiful pool and staff who are so friendly and helpful. The views are fantastic from all over the hotel and the restaurant is a must visit. A step back in time and one that i hope to take again as soon as possible.

Wonderful time warp hotel in the most fabulous location . The celebrated home of Jonny Weismuller and host to a plethora of Hollywood "ratpack" parties in the 50s. A little faded glory these days but still comfortable. The ideal antidote to high rise concrete monstrosities. Service was superb and the restaurant was lovely. Let's hope the Los Flamingos continues forever

Estamos muy pero muy contentos de pasar una noche aquí tienen que venir ! Tiene mucha historia del Acapulco Dorado, la gente es muy amable, tiene aire acondicionado , los balcones muy cómodos, la alberca muy limpia! Las camas muy cómodas! El equipo que trabaja aquí 10/10. Dormimos increíble

Realmente espectaculares vistas!, el hotel tiene casi 100 años desde su construcción (1930) este fue el inicio de Acapulco, los más famosos venían de todas partes del mundo a hospedarse en este hotel, es como un museo, la atención excelente de todo el personal, los precios muy razonables y felicidades a Esteban del restaurante, el vivió toda la historia del hotel y nos cuenta con orgullo como era el lugar preferido de los famosos de Hollywood. Al que sabe apreciar la historia de Acapulco, este lugar sin duda vale la pena.
