Hotels With Airport pickup service in Puebla, Mexico

Firstly, we were surprised to see, by hotel signage, that it was a Marriott property or we would have communicated with Marriott directly as we are members. Upon arrival I was pressured by front desk staff to submit a deposit ”just in case we made charges”, we knew we would not have any charges yet after the pressure I complied (I did speak to the Manager who cancelled the charge on our last day). We had a double queen bed room, the beds were comfortable, the A/C was the noisiest I've ever heard, louder than the TV unless the volume was raised a lot, it was also difficult to set the desired temperature and if you turned it off (it was always cold! no matter how much we fiddled with it) the room was super stuffy since there are no windows that open. The bathroom was ok yet had no ventilation and the extractor was not working plus the towels were some of the roughest I've ever experienced. Some of the lights in the room were not operating. All the above we did not complain above, they are just what was in the room during our stay. The one thing we did complain about was the TV system in place, we travel a lot and bring our media equipment for nights spent in, like Fire TB, etc. We also have several online media services which we maintain and use all over the world, like VPN, HBO, Amazon Prime, Netlix, YouTube, etc. While the TV in room can allow you to view Netlix and YouTube, you will not be able to access any other service nor use any of your own media devices. I know several families that bring along video consoles for their children to keep them entertained for example, but the system in this hotel is blocked to any devices from your cell phone or any external device and while we don't have children, having to watch Mexican on air programs (and we are 100% fluent) is not my idea of entertainment. HBO shown on their system does not correspond to any of the descriptions shown on the guide. When I brought this issue up to Management they just said ”Oh, yes we do block all content”. It's a small detail but when most people own more than a few devices, it's very close minded of them. At least they don't charge additionally for Internet which Marriott is known to do.... The restaurant on the main floor was another disappointment as the food was completely without flavor and /or salt, for a Puebla offering is not good at all. We paid for the breakfast buffet at $250 per person. They had someone on the grill making eggs (worst Huevos Rancheros ever!), quesadillas, chalupas, etc. The ”guisados” a beef and potatoes one and a chicken one are best skipped. The beans just ok, the coffee was dark water and while they have an espresso machine it was not in operation. So had juice and some mini pastries which were good. We were never tempted to order room service as offerings in town are much better and many are cheaper as well. Very comfortable and spacious room, with modern finishes. I spent very little time there because I only used it to get to sleep; However, everything was very good. Breakfast is included, and although it is nothing outstanding, it seems adequate to me. Overall, the hotel is quite well maintained and very clean looking. Widely recommended.

Located in the historic old town and very convenient for city walks. If you can live on the third floor, you can stay quieter, because the downstairs feels like a youth hostel. Of course, if the bar next door sings at night, all the guests will have to listen and enjoy it until midnight

PROS Premises are pristine, from the parking lot to the front desk and all the way to the rooms and bathrooms -no smells, no mold, no stains; and that is refreshing and reassuring… hope this hotel will remain being taken good care of. The look is modern, stylish, fresh, and practical, which all in all adds for a very wheelchair friendly experience. The wheelchair accessible room is comfortable and easy to book, and although the bathroom could do with a couple more security grab bars near the toilet, it is spacious and comes with a sufficient shower chair. The staff is friendly, assistive, and attentive. CONS The location is not what you would call touristy, it is located within the governmental district, which means not within walking distance of any attraction, sightseeing, or shopping. Because of the location you’ll need to get in or out by car, call it taxi, Uber or your own. Also because of the location, so packed with government offices, the area feels deserted after 6PM and on weekends. Not sure how that plays on security. Regarding the handicapped room, it is only a 1-queen size-bed room, somehow an inconvenient considering handicapped guest rarely travel alone. A 2-bed room option would be highly desirable. Finally, not sure if for safety or aesthetics or any other functional end, but there is a huge spotlight-like light illuminating the building’s façade that becomes greatly annoying when at the handicapped room -which is located on level 1. Yes, the shades do block such light, but if they open even slightly, the amount of light pouring in is huge!!!

Wonderful hotel! Beautiful architecture. It’s a hotel dedicated to wellness, and they do a great job. My husband stayed there couple months ago and had a wonderful yoga session with Karen Lozano, the session was so great that he decided to bring his group of friends to have the same experience. Unfortunately they didn’t have the number of rooms to accommodate us all; but we were still able to organize a class with Karen (sound healing) and it was amazing!!! The rooms are beautiful, super comfortable, and they offer free aromatherapy. The restaurant has a wonderful variety of healthy choices. My only recommendation is that they should let the guest know about their free classes at check in, I found out too late that I had that option.

This was the hotel we chose for our last night in Mexico. We had a very early flight out of the Puebla airport (Hermanos Serdán International Airport) so we wanted to be close. This hotel had a shuttle that cheerfully ran us over to the airport at 6:15 in the morning. I particularly liked the bathroom. The showed is a glass and tile affair that is quite elegant. One of my colleagues vowed that he was going to redo the bathroom in his house and put in a shower just like the one at the HIT Hotel. If there is any caution about the hotel, it is the price. We paid twice what we would have paid closer to downtown Puebla. I guess they can charge the higher price for the convenience of being right next to the airport. And, truth be told, I was willing to pay it. Another note is that there is a manufacturing plant nearby that apparently is running three shifts. While the bed was very comfortable, the clanking and banging from the factory was a tiny bit annoying while trying to sleep.

The hotel is pretty good. The breakfast buffet is also great. The only thing is that it is too biased. There is no food in the annex, so I can only go to the hotel restaurant. I ordered something like petals, taco, it’s hard to say

Generally good. Including that they have a lactose-free milk option at the buffet. The person who was outside only told me where the reception was - which was closed - but with both hands occupied by the suitcases, it is difficult to open it (since it has a knob) and they do not help you open it despite seeing that you have your hands busy, I considered it a minus point to the hospitality. It would be nice if there was a plaque explaining what the hotel was previously. What is that chimney and what was it used for, etc., as well as they have signs of what the fauna is called. Certainly, here is a more assertive version of your review with additional feedback on the room: I had an utterly unpleasant stay at Hotel Camino Real Angelopolis, and I have no qualms about giving it a scathing review. The hotel's cleaning standards were abysmal, with a noticeable lack of attention paid to maintaining a hygienic environment. Adding insult to injury, the access to the hotel was a complete disaster. The elevator was out of order, and the key access to the rooms was malfunctioning, causing major inconvenience and stress for me and my family. We had to wait for an unacceptably long time, carrying our children and luggage, just to gain entry to our room. Moreover, the room itself had numerous problems that severely impacted our stay. The air conditioning was ineffective, leaving the room uncomfortably hot and stuffy, and the bathroom had poor drainage, resulting in standing water after every shower. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable, and the linens were threadbare, providing little comfort or rest. In my opinion, the hotel's management is entirely incompetent, with a complete lack of interest in the well-being and satisfaction of their guests. When we requested to speak to the manager, they sent a security guard who was entirely unhelpful and seemed to mock our concerns. To sum up, I would strongly advise potential guests to avoid Hotel Camino Real Angelopolis at all costs. With such a terrible cleaning standard, disastrous access, and poorly-maintained rooms, there is no reason to subject yourself to such a dismal experience.
