We stayed here as part of our holiday to Barbados and had been recommended by friends. Our room was lovely with a stunning sea view which all rooms at the hotel have. On the penultimate night though our air conditioning stopped working and we had to spend a night in another room in another block. This wasn’t ideal and we were surprised not to receive any real apology for this. We found the service at breakfast a little bit sporadic and not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel until the last day when it improved. We ate dinner at the hotel one night and found this to be very good although it was very quiet and lacked atmosphere. As a result we ate out for the rest of our stay and liked lone star which was just a short walk away. There was no real beach service when we were there which was surprising. We would return based on the location, beach, room quality but would hope service had improved.

We stayed for a week in December. The room (number 11) was spacious and very well equipped. There's a bedroom, en suite shower and loo, dressing room with sate, living / dining room with big screen TV and small kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge / freezer, kettle, toaster and filter coffee machine. There's also a balcony with two chairs, a table and drying rack that overlooks the pool. The pool is a good size, really clean and gets the sun all day. There are comfortable sun loungers with umbrellas. The staff are all really friendly, polite and professional - a credit to the hotel. The walk to the beach / supermarket / bars / restaurants is 10-15 mins. It's 5 mins to buses that go South to Bridgetown / Oistins and North to Speightstown. The location is great. Overall this is a lovely little hotel right at the top range of the 3 star category, possibly 4 star. The best recommendation we can give is that we would come back and stay here again. Thanks you for a wonderful stay.
