Classic Hotel in the heart of lively Cuba Street. It offers a cosy spot to explore the lovely city center of Wellington :-)) - The rooms are small, but well equipped and nicely decorated. We got a space in the hotel parking lot, so we felt save to not get all staff out of our car during our long weekend stay.

It's very close to the ferry terminal, only 5 minutes drive away. There are many breakfast options. I ordered coffee and got latte art, which tasted pretty good. Although the hotel is a little old, it is well maintained. The beach nearby is nice to stroll around at night. The bar street is a bit messy, and there are many drunk people on the road, so be careful.

The hotel is located in the bustling area of Cuba Street, only a 5-minute walk from the museum. The rooms are large, clean and tidy, and fully equipped. The front desk service attitude is very good, the service is thoughtful and enthusiastic, and they try their best to help solve customer needs.

Room wasn't ready, even though I arrived after the check in time. Had a free drink while I waited. Had a bath, but the bath I could feel scum on the sides. In the bath could see under the vanity which was rusty, needed an end to the vanity. In room safe wasn't working. The food and service in the restaurant was very good.

The hotel is on a hillside, so if you walk, you will have to climb a big slope, which is a bit tiring. The whole environment of the hotel is good, with a gym, a small swimming pool, and a sauna. The hotel's afternoon tea is on the 5th floor. The chocolates and small cakes are pretty good. The room we were given doesn't feel very big. The view from the window is not as good as what you see in the picture. The hygiene is OK, but we stayed for three nights, and the room was not fully replenished when we cleaned the room and replaced the items on the second day. The soundproofing environment of the hotel is not very good, and you can hear the noise at the door.

First of all, thank you Sofitel Wellington for the good service provided, and thank you Ctrip for the good service, which made the guests have a satisfactory stay experience. Then, I wish Sofitel Wellington and its staff: happiness! Happiness! Prosperity! I wish Ctrip and its staff: happiness! Happiness! Prosperity!
The specific comments are as follows: 1. Location, Sofitel Wellington Hotel is located in the center of the capital of New Zealand, near the Parliament Building, near the sightseeing train, and opposite the hotel is the five-star Bolton Hotel. 2. Star rating, from the hardware facilities, with the same price of five-star, the so-called 5⭐ star, is not satisfactory. Why, there is no swimming pool, no garden, and no free parking lot, so parking is a problem. Ctrip marked the hotel as valet parking. From the software service, the attitude is very good, but there is no foreign language dialogue service, here refers to ☞ no Chinese service, so it is basically enough for 5⭐ stars. 3. Breakfast, basically European style with French 🇫🇷 as the main style. The restaurant is small, but the hygiene, service, hot processing, on-site production, etc. are quite good. 4. The room is clean and tidy, the bed is comfortable, there is a small refrigerator and a ”minibar”, a desk, wifi, murals, bedside tables, wardrobes, coffee machines, hair dryers, etc. The hotel will not proactively provide disposable toothbrushes and bottled water, but guests can ask for them separately. 5. During Easter, the hotel hung a chocolate cookie made by the hotel outside the guest room door as a gift to the guests, which was quite warm. In addition, the hotel has a very small lounge and a very small gym.
Overall, it can get 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars, thank you!
Firstly, I would like to express my gratitude to Sofitel Wellington for providing excellent service, as well as Ctrip for providing excellent service and providing guests with a satisfactory stay experience. Next, I wish Sofitel Wellington and its staff: happiness and happiness! Happy! Abundant financial resources! Wishing Ctrip and its staff happiness and happiness! Happy! Abundant financial resources!

This was the greatest hotel I have ever stayed in. I'm over 'same same' hotels and marvelled at the grandness of the Wellesley. Of course, you can get 'grand' at lots of places but none have the class, history and location of this place. It was especially enjoyable because I am a Kiwi and value the heritage but I also loved the elegance of the staircase, opulent drapes, the timeless oak panelling, the well-placed wingback chairs, the high ceilings and ornamental plasterwork. On top of this, the hotel is right in the middle of the city, has a (welcome after a cold day) bath and possibly the whitest, fluffiest towels in the history of towels. It was quiet with a marvellously comfortable bed (with chocolates on the pillows no less). The staff were gracious and clearly have high expectations of cleanliness as it was spotless.

The room was clean and tidy and I was very satisfied with it. A small incident: when we booked a room through the Ctrip app by car, it showed free parking. When we checked in at the hotel, the front desk told us that we could only waive the parking fee by booking directly with the hotel. After Ctrip communicated with the hotel, the girl at the front desk confirmed that it was not necessary. After paying the parking fee and waiting to check out, I was reminded by my credit card that the parking fee was charged. I then communicated with Ctrip customer service and refunded the parking fee. I hope there will be no such mistakes in the future. I would like to thank Ctrip customer service staff for their active communication and timely reply. I feel that Ctrip customer service is excellent. It’s getting better👍
It's a nice place to spend a night. A drink in the bar before dinner helps. I don't know much about the food as I had a pizza only. An average meal. Oh, the conference facilities are good.

刘刘Hotel location is very good, in the center of Wellington, the parking lot is on the upper floor, to go up a steep slope, parking fee 15 NZ / day. The interior decoration is a bit antique and has a sense of history. The downside is that I arrived at the hotel on Christmas Eve, and the front desk was closed (should be at 7 pm), saying that I sent an email to me, but I didn't find it in fact. Still the cleaning guy, contacted me, opened the key box, and got the key.
PPetraWe liked the willis. The service was good and the staff very friendly. We were able to easily extend the breakfast booking to include one person because we had invited our guide. The bus leaves almost from the front door and everything can be easily reached by bus.
GGuest UserThe staff were very friendly, welcoming & very efficient. They took the time to go out of their way to make us comfortable.
The lift & room was just a little bit older around the edges, but still very good! The bed was heavenly-soft & lovely, we just wish we'd had time to rest & relax more than one night in Wellington!
LLIThe odor in the room is relatively large, there are no windows, the floor is very old, there is no carpet, the room does not know what the house changed, and the water pipes on the roof are bare. In short, the accommodation environment is uncomfortable, and the water pipes are noisy at midnight The house is also very soundproof. The price is relatively low, set at 378. However, there is a public kitchen, which is conveniently located at the intersection of cuba st andmanners st, and there is a stop sign. The hotel entrance is not easy to find, in the sports shop REBEL.

GGuest UserWe have always enjoyed staying at QT Museum Hotel. We were given the option to upgrade to a Seaview room on the top floor with an additional charge. Seeing it is a more quiet room compared to my booking request on the 1st floor near road traffic and rubbish bin area, I paid the extra for the upgrade per night for 2 nights.
Our room was not serviced well the following day. Rubbish bin in the bathroom being the only one was not emptied. The Bath and Shower gel was not replenished, we had to asked for it to be refilled. the cushions on the bed was still on the floor from the night before, the ironing board was still left out - I did not put it back as the iron was still very hot after ironing my dress for my conference that morning. The gym facilities was very tired with all towels being used and the used towels bin was overflowing.
I was very disappointed with my stay this trip, using shortage of staff since Covid is a very old excuse now. Systems and procedures should be in placed by management to ensure the 5 star ratings is upheld. No point upselling or selling more rooms if they cannot keep customers happy to come back again. This was not only my opinion but that of my colleagues. very disappointing!

GGuest UserFirst of all, the entrance is a staircase, so it is difficult to drag a suitcase.
There was a Korean staff member at the desk, and he was very friendly.
There is an elevator, but it is old, so I only used it to move luggage.
I was on the 1st floor, so I felt like I was on the 2nd floor.
There is a musty smell coming from the hallway.
The desk in the room wasn't cleaned and there was food on it.
The worst part was I never wanted to go to the bathroom again.
There are two restaurants, but the one with a kitchen that we can use is the backpacker's kitchen, located past the desk.
It's a little dirty here too
You have to eat at another restaurant.
The overall review is that the staff is friendly and the service is good, but it is very dirty.

Good hotel in a handy central location. Good reception area, staff were friendly and welcoming. Not a modern hotel by any means but a classic feel to it.
Was assigned a wheelchair accessible room 507, Room was a small queen room that was clean and well appointed. Being a disability accessible room, the bathroom was huge and essentially a wet-room without a bath. Not that I wanted one, but you would expect to see one, normally.
Nearly slipped in the shower as I didn't find the rubber grip mat until after my shower as it was under the towels on the towel rail, where I didn't see it, rather than in the shower on the hand rail where I would.
Good to see they have done away with the plastic bottles for
Had an internal room facing another hotel block without a view, but this meant it was quiet. Wellington can get noisy on a Friday night but I slept well.
Check out took maybe 10 seconds.
Would stay again.

DDariaHotel is pretty old, needs renovation. I was living in separate room with own bathroom. But still everything old , smell old, mattress is very soft( Strange carpets everywhere, even on evevator walls))) But location is great, just few minutes from Railway station and Intercity buses stop. Center also just in five minutes walking. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I wish the hotel to be renovated.
