Hotels With Breakfast in Guizhou, China

The location of this guesthouse is absolutely fantastic. It's just dozens of meters in from the bridge near the main Zhongnan Gate, making it super convenient for exploring the scenic area. We arrived in the evening, dropped off our luggage, and then went out for a stroll and dinner. According to the friendly staff at the front desk, this guesthouse was converted from a landlord's traditional courtyard estate. It has over thirty rooms in total. The environment is quite pleasant, and it has a wonderful atmospheric charm. However, there are quite a lot of mosquitoes in the summer, so they should really provide more mosquito repellent. (Note: The windows face the corridor, but the upper section can be opened.)

The room was not clean, the corners of the bed were covered in dust... The front desk staff was not good (when checking in, I asked the front desk for 2 room cards, but the front desk immediately said: If the room card is lost, you have to pay 50 yuan). I booked online and checked out at 14:00, and I used Ctrip points to add value to the check-out, but the front desk called us at 11:30 and asked us to check out. The surrounding environment of the hotel is not bad

we booked a room with a slide and it was really fun. there are instruments and calligraphy at the lobby and they are fun to play. they also provide free fruits, the lychees were really juicy and fresh. we had a bit of trouble with the washing machine but the staff helped us and it became a funny experience. the staff was very friendly and enthusiastic, he offered to drive us everytime we went out. even though we did not book for transport to the train station, they tried their best to find available cars, but the boss just drove us in the end because we were rushing to catch the train. even though we caused a lot of trouble for them, bro was still patient and helped us. 非常感谢了🙏！

I booked 2 rooms for my family of 5, with one child. We stayed in the deluxe twin room which has been renovated earlier this year/last year. The room and bathroom are spacious , bright and clean (except for the doorway inside the room near the closet ) with good view. The staff quality is of high standard. They all are professional and friendly (from the bell boy, the front desk to the servers in the restaurant). The executive lounge is on 53/f and it’s cozy. The view there is nice. The lounge provides a range of snacks with very professional hotel service. The breakfast also offers a variety of food and drinks. We enjoyed it! Regarding the location, there’re a shopping mall (1 to 2 min walk) and many convenient stores nearby. It’s also within walking distance to the tourist spot Jia shou Lou (甲秀樓.). However, it’s is not too close to the subway.

Manager Chen at the front desk was really good. He took the initiative to provide us with travel guides around the area, and gave us a lot of practical travel tips. He also introduced us to delicious and fun places in detail. Although the hotel is a bit old, the hygiene is still good. The view in the room is really amazing, and the facilities are complete. In particular, the bed is very soft and comfortable, and the sleep quality is excellent. It feels like you are sinking into it. It's just that there are a lot of people on holidays, and you have to queue for breakfast.

I highly recommend this hotel! It is centrally located in village and offers a convenient pick-up service from the high-speed train station. The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with modern facilities. The service is excellent, with friendly staff who provide great recommendations for attractions and restaurants. You can fully enjoy delicious food and unwind in a relaxing atmosphere at this hotel.

The rooms were old, the hotel facilities outdated, and the staff's service attitude was poor. Despite being a 'brand' hotel, it didn't live up to its name at all. 1. There wasn't a single USB port in the room. If you didn't bring your own charging brick, you couldn't charge your devices at all. 2. The font on the in-room phone was so tiny it was almost illegible. Even with perfect eyesight, I had to squint and guess which button was for the front desk. To make matters worse, there was no dedicated front desk button, so I had to randomly press two different buttons before finally getting through. 3. The hair dryer was old and would overheat and shut off after just 10 seconds. When I called the front desk, they informed me that it would trip its overheat protection on the highest setting and advised me to use the 'constant temperature' mode to dry my hair slowly, suggesting I call back if that didn't work either. I was honestly speechless. Even a budget chain like Hanting (and I'm not trying to disparage Hanting at all) wouldn't have service and facilities this bad these days. 4. The bathroom door was very difficult to close, which was quite inconvenient for us, especially traveling with our daughter. Frankly, a functioning bathroom door that closes properly should be a basic expectation for any hotel, shouldn't it? (The more I vent, the more I question my own sanity for staying here!) Please, everyone, steer clear of this place!!!! For this level of quality, our room cost nearly 600 RMB. All I can say is, Guizhou is simply too expensive.

Nice hot spring hotel. Lakefront view rooms are preferable to avoid the traffic noise from the city view rooms. Service is good, breakfast is adequate. Service at the springs is excellent, the staff routinely will bring you tea while you soak. From the hotel you can easily join the path and walk around the lake.

Very clean and spacious room. We had 2 adults and 2 children and the room was so comfortable for all of us. Breakfast was amazing. Prepared lovingly by a local lady with guilin noodles, yoghurt and fruit. Service was excellent. Attended to our needs promptly without any delay. Location is amazing smacked right in the middle of the main busy street.

One of my favorite B&Bs during this Guizhou trip. We drove here and parked right outside the entrance. There's a flight of stairs to get up, but the young butler was incredibly strong and helped us carry our luggage up and down. Upstairs is a common terrace, and the view of the karst peaks from there is absolutely breathtaking. I booked the 'Renli' room, which faces the common terrace and is next to the public area, so privacy was slightly compromised. This is also why it's the most affordable. However, we were rarely in the room during the day, and at night, drawing the curtains was sufficient. The room was very clean, with no strange odors or dampness. The bathroom had individually wrapped disposable toilet seat covers, and the vanity had individually packaged face towels, which were quite large and very convenient to use. The mini-fridge actually kept things cold, unlike some hotel fridges that feel like they're at room temperature. The water, drinks, and snacks inside were complimentary. There were welcome fruits on the table: Guizhou plums, peaches, and apples. Even the bottled water was Nongfu Spring, not some generic brand. The common lounge offered lemon water, a washing machine, and coffee candy. You can consult the butler for all travel information. If you need an electric scooter, the butler can help you book one; it'll be delivered in 5 minutes. You just go downstairs to pick it up and pay the vendor. When returning it, simply leave it downstairs at the B&B and inform the butler to arrange the key handover. It's incredibly convenient. We got caught in the rain while exploring Fuzitian. When we messaged the butler about the electric scooter keys, upon hearing we were wet, he advised us to come to the lounge for some ginger tea upon our return. There are three dogs at the B&B. 'Shandian' (Lightning) was the most popular and left a lasting impression on the children; as the plane took off, they waved out the window shouting ”Bye-bye Shandian!” Upon check-out, we received a farewell gift. Out of the five hotels/B&Bs we stayed at during this trip, this one's gift was the most thoughtful: drip coffee, tea, custom-designed fridge magnets, and small cookies, all packaged in a very attractive little bag. It boasts facilities comparable to a hotel, along with personalized touches that hotels often lack. The photos and videos I'm using are from the B&B's booking platform.
