A Mixed Honeymoon Experience at Pakasai Resort, Krabi š
My husband and I recently stayed at Pakasai Resort in Krabi for our honeymoon, spending 6 days and 5 nights in their charming Honeymoon Chalet (Room 423). While the resortās eco-friendly concept and tranquil natural environment created a memorable stay, our experience was a mix of highs and lows due to varying levels of service.
On a positive note, we were thoroughly impressed by the outstanding hospitality of Hakim and Ibrahim, two staff members who truly went above and beyond. Hakim (the one who attached in photo with loved one) welcomed us warmly on our first night, providing fantastic recommendations for must-visit spots in Krabi, which really enhanced our trip. Ibrahim (didnāt get a chance to take a photo, he was on his off day during our last day in Pakasai) was equally helpful, especially when he assisted us with our heavy baggage to our chalet, located at the highest point of the resort. His suggestion to rent a bike in Krabi made exploring the area more enjoyable and convenient.
However, our experience at the front desk left us feeling disappointed and disrespected. After a tiring walk back from Aonang Landmark Night Market for 20 minutes, my husband and I were exhausted and thirsty. We decided to rest at the lobby and politely asked the receptionist named Pin, if we could have some water to drink. Her response was curt and dismissive: āHere donāt have water. If you want water, you can go to the restaurant to buy it,ā she said, pointing to the restaurant without a smile.
As me and my loved one came with a background in hospitality, we found this interaction unprofessional and lacking in basic courtesy. What made it worse was witnessing her behavior toward other guests shortly after. When a few Western guests arrived, her demeanor completely changedāshe greeted them warmly, with smiles and respect. This stark contrast made me question whether there was a double standard in how Asian and Western guests are treated.
Despite this incident, Pakasai Resort has much to offer, with its peaceful environment, eco-conscious practices, and the strong hospitality of most staff members. I would also like to kindly request that management recognizes Hakim and Ibrahim for their outstanding service, as their dedication truly made our stay memorable. Staff like them are an asset to the resort and should be rewarded for their exceptional efforts.
To Pakasai Resort management, I hope you can address inconsistencies in service to ensure every guest feels valued, respected, and welcomed equally.

The room is about the same size as the previous deluxe room, with an extra bathtub and a larger balcony. However, it is further away from the beach and requires more steps. Although the bed is spliced, it doesn't feel like it. It's really big. Big, indeed a king-size bed! There was really nothing to order from the dinner restaurant, and the taste was just so-so. There was no change in the breakfast. I was hungry for seven days and looked at the food but had no appetite.
The sunset on the hotel beach is really beautiful!
I was lucky enough to see a specialty - lizard on the steps of the hotelšš
By the way, the previous review was wrong. The hotel taxi to Ao Nang Beach costs 100 yuan, and the taxi at the door also costs the same.
If you rent a motorcycle, turn left at the hotel entrance and go up the mountain. It is a national park, but it is not allowed to enter after 14:00. Those who like nature can explore it.

Pleasant ten room hotel situated on a quiet road not far from the main and touristy area. The rooms have recently undergone renovation. Comfortable bed, air conditioning, mini fridge, kettle and coffee sachets provided. Small balcony area also. There is a bar downstairs where the owner will put sports events on the TV if you would like to watch something.

The hotel is located in the town of Krabi, close to the river bay and close to the Krabi night market, the location is not bad. The boss is a personable foreigner. It is hard to tell whether it is American or British. His female partner is an authentic Thai. She speaks very fluent English and she is also very nice. The hotel is similar to a normal family inn, the triple room is very clean and simple, with only three beds and a small table, WIFI is not available, the sound insulation effect is not bad, the bed sleeps well, the room is not big but it feels very Comfortable. The lobby on the first floor of the hotel is very exotic. There are free coffee and snacks every day, and fruit during the New Year, which is very considerate. The boss raised a fat cat and often runs around, but it has a friendly and harmonious atmosphere. Hotels also have travel service package recommendations. Compared with the **, each has its own advantages. After all, it is a local travel service, but you can contact travelers from various countries, such as Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Spain... many, many, you can hand in Many friends.
Most of the hotel guests are foreigners whose mother tongue is English. If you want to make friends, don't miss it. It is still a cost-effective hotel.

We loved our stay, the rooms are clean and at one step from the beach which is huge and extremely beautiful. The breakfast is served straight on your balcony and rooms with sea view have a jacuzzi with big window in front of the sea. Itās possible to use the swimming pool from Miami hotel just 300mt on the left and around is full of nice restaurants and little bars. Itās a paradise, especially coming from the busy and touristic Phi Phi. The front desk can book diving and boat trips for you and thereās boat-taxi-scooter booking with competitive prices. It was an amazing experience, the staff is great and extremely helpful and polite.

Good location, across the street from a very yummy restaurant! You can see monkeys beside the hotel every night at dusk! Would definitely recommend a scooter if staying at this hotel as it would be quite a long and hot walk to any beaches or main town, but scooter rental is easy on the island! Would recommend and would stay again!

MMarcDeuThe location is remote. The amenities are good, the natural springs are very good and range from 38 to 43 degrees. Near the massage is actually an even hotter one. The massage was great, but do yourself a favour and skip the smoothies and cakes in the cafƩ. The breakfast wasn't great. But the staff was friendly, the rooms clean and the part that matters, the hot sorings, were great.
