We camped in a powered lot. The campsite was really easy to find and only 5/10 min drive from the centre of Rotorua. Everything was clean and there were plenty of toilets/showers and other facilities. They also have pools including some hot pools which is a lovely addition. We had a great time camping here and would definitely come back again!

We really enjoyed our time here. The rooms aren't huge but they're well appointed and well decorated. The locations is excellent, we walked to breakfast, lunch and dinner most days. It's also just a few minutes from the lakefront. The staff was really friendly and they have a good wine selection inside. We would definitely stay here again.

We camped here and it is a wonderful site. Not cheap for an unpowered pitch ($70 for 2 people in a 2 person small tent per night) but brilliant facilities and all spotlessly clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hot pools where great for a relaxing dip and there is free WiFi at the camp. Great location to chill.

We just had an amazing 5 day stay! We had a family group of 8 (multi-generations) and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The cabins were perfect, with comfy beds, nice linen, small kitchen with all the essentials, and a bathroom. The communal areas were lovely and clean and well equipped. Nice communal lounge with a fire place. The big pool was heated and the thermal hot pools were awesome! Kids had fun on the trikes and the bouncing pillow. The staff were very helpful, the housekeeping staff were fantastic. Thanks Tasman Bay!

Wayne & Ingrid - Lodge Owners are hands on and incredibly attentive. The Lodge is clean and comfortable. The towels are super plush and the bathroom amenities are Molton Brown. Food is 5 Star! Chef’s are outstanding. We went trout fishing with Bob - we caught 15 pounds of trout. Bob was funny, informative and probably the best fisherman in Rotarura. The boat is big, comfortable and has excellent fishing equipment and technology. Our preplanned cycling tour got canceled. Wayne stepped up and found us an alternative and I must say it was the highlight of our trip so far in NZ. The bikes were top notch and the mountain bike trails were incredible with all levels accommodated for.
