The room is spacious by Japan standards and well-equipped with essentials like a hairdryer, electric kettle, air purifier/humidifier, air-conditioning, and basic amenities. If you opt for daily housekeeping, they’ll replenish items such as shampoo, conditioner, body soap, combs, toothbrushes, razors, cotton buds, and body sponges. Towels are changed and trash is cleared daily as well. The only downside is the lack of complimentary drinking or hot water, even at the lobby—so you’ll have to boil water using the kettle provided in the room, which can be a bit inconvenient. Location-wise, it’s excellent—just a short walk from the train station, with a Don Quijote and FamilyMart nearby. There’s also a Daiso downstairs, along with plenty of restaurants and a game arcade. The complimentary breakfast buffet is a highlight, offering a wide variety. It’s not extravagant but includes both Japanese and Western dishes such as curry rice, udon, pickles, grilled salmon, takoyaki, cold tofu, salads, warabimochi, sausages, chicken rings, fried chicken, cereals, milk, bread rolls with spreads, soft serve ice cream, DIY waffles, fruits, and beverages like coffee, tea, juice, and soft drinks.

The hotel was accommodating, we bought from stuff from Tokyo and had it shipped to Osaka 4 days in advance, the hotel kept our stuff way in advance. Check in supposed to be at 3pm, we arrived at 1pm (not expecting the rooms to be ready but it was!) and managed to check in. The whole hotel is shoes off (tatami style) - so you either leave your shoes at the shoes locker or bring them up to your room. Room is definitely small (as per most Jap hotels) but it was still considered slightly bigger than other hotels. Location was good because it was just beside Dotonburi street. Nambai station was also just a traffic light away. There was a 7/11 just next to the hotel which was very convenient. The hotel provides free udon from 930pm to 11pm and free probiotic drink from 10am! and free ice cream in the evening too. The onsen was small but it was good to have onsen after tiring and long day. The only downside I felt was the hotel was very very crowded (might be due to holidays in HK/Taiwan). There is no housekeeping services so you need to put your towels and trash outside your door every morning and they will replace new towels for you. But no changing of bedsheets etc.

Happy about this hotel stay. The staff are warm friendly and professional. Had a problem with the locker as, we can't lock it after we opened it, so had to ask the staff an old man for which he listened carefully to the problem and smiled and said oh stuck and gave a coin to lock it again. Also the reception crew made a mistake for stamping our breakfast coupons on a different day, and they managed to change it and apologized.

I loved this hotel! It’s super close to all the popular spots. The room was clean and spacious, which was perfect after a long day of walking. I also enjoyed relaxing in the bath and grabbing some milk from the vending machine. And I have to give a shoutout to the night noodles—they were a new experience for me, but really handy and delicious!

Love this hotel and will come back again! Spectacular view for our room located on 49/F, facing the bay side. Huge room with 3 beds. Most spacious room on the highest floor ever stayed in Japan. Very reasonable price except for the breakfast which comes with quite stiff price. We tried breakfast on both 2/f and 51/f and the latter was way better in terms of spread and quality of food. Love the basement parking, the lift will take you from carpark directly to your guest room floor. Best for those traveling with a car!!! Exit by credit card payment at gate. Charge on each exit. No need any help from hotel staff which is so so so good! Very crowded with the lifts when there is conference or event within the hotel. Overall, very happy with our stay there. Thank you for everything.

Very comfy bedding, decent sized room (for Japan) but definitely paying for that extra space, not a cheap hotel. Onsen was very good. One of the best onsens in a hotel in a big city I’ve had. Although you have to bring your own towels from your room. Complimentary popsicles for refreshments after onsen. Location is in a fairly quiet area. The hotel is in between 2 subway stations.

The hotel is located on the 19th to 26th floors, with a stunning view. The room was a reasonable size, but the shower was separated from the bed by a clear glass window. While there was a curtain, it was a bit awkward. The rooftop had a large bath and an oven, and the outdoor seating area was pleasant. The only drawback was that, despite being located above the station, the mall is only open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; the rest of the time, you have to use an outdoor passageway with unclear signs, which was quite inconvenient.

Walking distance to train station and the convenient stall is right below the hotel is a plus point. Most important, the free snacks all day with yakult and ramen provided is our favourite. Super close proximity to Dontonbori (across the street) Highly recommend to stay! - minus point is, the rooms are very small, hardly have space for family of 4.

FFoo Chong KaiThis is actually my third time staying at this hotel. 2 konbini are nearby, namba station is nearby. Dotonbori is nearby. Kuromon is nearby. Bic Camera is nearby. The overrated Ichiran is 5 minutes away at max. I personally recommend Kamukura 神座 though. Starbucks is nearby. Very convenient is what I’m saying. Need to pay additional one time ¥1500 for onsen tax. So please utilise it at the end of the day and it’s only open from 1800-2400 every day.

AAnonymous UserI stayed at the Dormy Inn in Osaka for just one night, and for only $52, it was an absolute gem! This budget-friendly hotel exceeded all expectations, offering so many thoughtful amenities that it felt like a luxury stay. The highlights included free ramen and ice cream at night—a unique and delightful touch—and the provision of pajamas and slippers for added comfort. The free washer and inexpensive dryer (just 100 yen for 20 minutes) were incredibly convenient, especially for travelers packing light. The public hot bath was another standout feature, providing a relaxing way to unwind after a long day of exploring. The room itself was fantastic. The bed was super comfortable, and the blackout blinds ensured a perfect night’s sleep. I also loved that the bed was accessible from three sides—a rare design in Japan that made the room feel surprisingly spacious. One particularly convenient feature was the self-check-in kiosk, which made the check-in and check-out process quick and easy, especially for international visitors who may not speak Japanese. Additionally, the 11 a.m. checkout time is relatively late for Japan, giving guests a more relaxed start to their day. Location-wise, the hotel is about a 6-minute walk to the subway and a 20-30 minute stroll to Osaka Castle. While there aren’t many activities immediately nearby, the hotel’s convenience and outstanding amenities more than compensate for this. For a budget-friendly option, Dormy Inn checks all the boxes and then some. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Osaka. Truly a perfect stay!

CCrystal Jeunesse Lservice: The staff are friendly and super helpful. The staff checking us in was able to communicate in English adequately, and both the cafe and noodle shop attached have menus in English, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese. Most services in the hotel have all four languages written some where so it's pretty convenient. The amenities provided were fantastic, they even provided face masks free of charge, to really maximize the relaxation. facilities: We booked the room with a personal hot tub/sauna and it was definitely worth it! You can take a soak in the privacy of your room at any time of the day, so relaxing! The public onsen was also very nice, with clear instructions on proper procedure and very helpful staff, don't hesitate to ask them any questions. Definitely give it a try, but remember to be respectful of your fellow bathers. I would recommend that you check in as soon as the hotel allows, so you enjoy the public onsen as soon as possible haha food: We booked the buffet breakfast, it was interesting. Sme traditional Japanese cuisine and some traditional western fare; all delicious. If you don't want restaurants food from the first floor, and have some time to spare, feel free to ask the staff about any nearby convenience stores. conclusion: we had a fantastic time. the location is very quiet and walking around during the day is very relaxing, followed by a soak in your private tub or the public onsen.
