The hotel is located in Hanamaki Onsen Village, which is a group of three hotels. You can go to the hot springs in all three hotels, but I only went to the Momijikan, which has both outdoor and indoor hot springs. The area is not small and very comfortable. The room is also large, and the breakfast is rich in variety, with Japanese and Western food. There are also sukiyaki, local milk and ice cream. The hotel also has free folk performances in the lobby every night, which is very unique. If it is spring and summer, the rose garden near the hotel should also be beautiful. A very recommended hotel. The disadvantage is that the surrounding public transportation is not very convenient. You can only make an appointment to take the free shuttle bus from the hotel to Shin-Hanamaki Station. Although there are ordinary buses, there are very few buses.
The location is good for the family ski holiday with all facilities available for this ski-in/ski-out hotel. The breakfast has a good variety while the dinner options are good especially the Teppanyaki restaurant with the local beef and abalone. The Japanese restaurant was also good with various dishes to choose from. The outdoor onsen at 白樺之湯 really worth the visit after the ski and I’d recommend to enjoy at day time. We have also tried the hotel massage services and it was really good and relaxing! The only thing for improvement is that the room themselves are a bit old and maybe should consider renovations in coming years. The shops have many food and drinks and souvenirs. We also got a big pack of fireworks that we can pay together with kids just outside the hotel on the snow slope.
Overall we enjoyed the stay and the slopes and ski school are magnificent!
The hotel facilities are new and very clean. The room is very large, with a small living room and a large window looking out at the scenery. There is a private bath in the room, which is convenient and comfortable. The dinner was delicious, but the only drawback was that there was no replenishment of food in the buffet breakfast. We made a last reservation, but many of the food plates were already empty! Even so, the hotel overall is great and I will come back again.

Satisfy your appetite for dinner at the ryokan's restaurant, shizukatei, or stay in and take advantage of the room service (during limited hours).

Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and digital programming is available for your entertainment. Bathrooms feature separate bathtubs and showers, complimentary toiletries, and bidets. Conveniences include laptop-compatible safes and electric kettles, and housekeeping is provided daily.
This hotel has a room for disabled people, very considerate, specially arranged an electric bed that can be lifted, the ceiling also set a track to contact the electric bed and the bathroom. The elderly mistakenly called the rescue system, and immediately a staff member called the room to ask if there was a problem. Another friend was a vegetarian, and the hotel was able to respond by changing the evening package and providing a colorful 12-degree vegetarian meal.

Although the price is cheap, I still think the hotel infrastructure is too bad. The rooms are hardly soundproof, except for the cheap price, I really can't think of anything that attracts me here.
The stalls in the public areas are also dirty and not garbage, and the hot water is too small.
In short, I will never choose.
The hot spring hotel has a beautiful environment and the service staff is friendly.
The remote location is a big problem. There is no restaurant inside the hotel. You need to walk to another place to eat. It was snowing when we stayed, so it was not very convenient to walk.
The rest is still good.
There are fewer hotels in Pingquan City itself.
This is a quite retro and Showa-era hotel. Although the appearance is inconspicuous, the service, meals, interiors, etc. have not changed with the past of the times.
The only downside is that Pingquan City itself is inconvenient for transportation, so if the hotel will be a little farther away in a tired situation (about 15 minutes), maybe you can contact the hotel to meet you?
However, from the hotel to the station, the hotel has a special car transfer, which is very commendable.
The building and facilities were new and clean and very comfortable. The drink service and breakfast were great and the parking lot was very good for free. It was the highest hotel in the business hotel I stayed recently.

TTakahiroIt was a ryokan with a very calming atmosphere.
The landlady and staff greeted us cheerfully. When we passed each other in the hallway, they greeted us with a smile, which made us feel very comfortable and we were able to spend a wonderful time there.
The interior and facilities in the room were a little old, but they didn't seem dirty or broken, and there was no noticeable smell.
And above all, the hot spring was great. I think the hot spring is soft and feels good on the skin. The view was also great, so you could look at it forever. Personally, I was worried about the bugs (horses) in the open-air bath, which is like being in the middle of a forest, but I was relieved to see that there was insecticide available.
We only had breakfast, but it was delicious, with dishes made from Iwate-grown hitomebore apples and wild vegetables.
It's a place I'd like to visit again someday.

OOlgaLTSuper hotel with beautiful view of the sea. The sunrises to not miss. The restaurant is excellent as well as the service. A hot bath is large and with view of the sea as well.
The only thing we missed was the automatic washing system.
GGuest UserThe room was large, the staff was very warm, breakfast and dinner were very rich, originally booked for one day, the first day of the experience was good, and I added another day. The water temperature of the hot spring was just right. I like the outdoor pool. I can watch the snowflakes fall while soaking in the hot spring.
YYujibaohexiangA very satisfying experience. The hotel is very comfortable. I like the design style of the lobby very much. It is warm and grand. The hotel service is great. The room is spacious and bright. In winter, there is snow outside the window. The room is warm as spring. It is also very good to take a hot spring bath in the hotel. There is an outdoor hot spring pool. You can see the stars and snowflakes. The artistic conception is beautiful! The breakfast at the accommodation is very rich and tastes great. The side dishes are very delicate. The afternoon tea is great. There is a performance by an Italian music master during the lounge time from 4:30 to 6:00 in the afternoon. It is very pleasant. It is very close to the ski resort. I ski well every day and take a hot spring bath. It is comfortable~
DDominicThe best hotel in my 11 days trip in Japan North East! The food is the best amongst others hotel and also the service. The staff could hear my chop stick dropping on the floor and bring another one to me. Also, they helped me to clean the snow on my car before leaving! It’s a very good experience and highly recommend to visit there.
GGuest UserThe experience was superb! The onsen was good and relaxing. I love that they provide yogurt drink and ice lolly. There is also complimentary soba noodles at 9:30pm. What is more important is that they have free laundry and that the status of the machines can be viewed on TV!
LLoicSuperb onsen hotel. We took sea view and it was superb with a small balcony. Room are very confortable and big. Onsen was excellent with an outside bath looking at the bay.
We had dinner also and it was 5 star.
Staff were super helpful (front desk, restaurant etc)
