Grandvrio hotel has an amazing indoor and outdoor onsen that is a must try. The buffet has a wide selection of alcohol drink which is the highlight. There is a gift shop I will strongly advise you to buy as it’s cheaper than the tourist shops. Shuttle bus is once every half hour to train station. Overall it’s a good stay.

Amazing hotel and I cannot wait to go back. The view is to die for. I just wish I had checked in a lot earlier. The convenience store downstairs sells alcoholic drinks, bento and other snacks at reasonable prices. The shuttle bus is convenient but does not run that frequently so I recommend you to check it well in advance. I ended up paying around 3500 yen for taxi one way 🤣

The overall experience was ok. The path to hotel is a pebbled slope and stoned entrance, it’s gave me sort of a nostalgic feel, but it’s not luggage friendly. But I must say the hotel needs to do something on the ventilation/air circulation in the building. The room I stayed was near to the dining hall so the BBQ & food smell travelled & lingered along my room floor corridor throughout my stay. The onsen is located at the same section as the dining hall, the smell affected there as well. 

Spacious room, courteous and helpful staff. Amenities (hotspring, laundry machine, complimentary popsicles and drinks) were great. It was very comfortable and I wished I stayed longer. The location seemed a little out of the way but the local bus service was convenient and not crowded even during rush hour. It was also close enough to a park (short walk) for those who want to get some exercise.

Facilities: The hotel provides free breakfast and hot springs, and a free beer every day. Hygiene: The room is clean, the toilet is clean, and the public space is clean. Environment: There are few people and cars nearby, and it is quiet when sleeping. Service: When cleaning the room, you need to put a sign on the door that needs to be cleaned.

Nice.ryokan in Miyajima. The ryokan is located quite far up a hill from the station but they provide free transportation to and from the hotel. Both the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast were excellent. The service was impeccable. It is located about a five minute walk from Itsukushima shrine . Room was good with two single beds. Onsen has both indoor and outdoor pool. Would highly recommend this place.

The evening buffet had a wide variety of food, and beer and wine were all-you-can-drink. Pancakes ordered in the morning were also included. In the lounge, water, tea, and soft drinks were all-you-can-drink, and ice cream and momiji manju were even available for free, so we used them many times when we came back drenched in sweat in the middle of summer. The whole family was very satisfied, and it's a place we'd like to stay again and recommend to our friends.

I went to Miyajima on a family trip and used it for the first time. The hot spring is in the basement, and it has an old-fashioned atmosphere with only a large bathtub １, and it is not so large, and the scenery is not good because it is in the basement. Compared to the hot spring resorts devised at this time, it may feel unsatisfactory, but it is clean and the temperature is around ４０ degrees, so it is ”good old” while taking a long bath. I felt that it was a place to enjoy. It was stated that the quality of the hot water was slightly salty and smooth, and it was pumped and boiled from the source. I was able to take a comfortable bath without being squeezed or dry even by families with weak skin. Unfortunately, there are no open-air baths or private baths, but some rooms have open-air baths with rooms, so I think you can choose according to your taste. What should be noted here is the wonderfulness of the food. The amount of meals varies or is insufficient depending on the course and price, which is often a big preparation at such a large inn, and the impression and quality of appearance are greatly different from the images on the site. Instead of having a sense of failure such as the dishes that were cold at the time of serving inn dishes, we were able to provide a wonderful dish of a more impressive level. This time we were in the room, and it was originally said that Masazen was the basic set, but ４ kind of seasonal course dishes (Masazen, delicious fish, delicious meat, delicious feast) with guidance on the site. I requested it at the stage of advance reservation and received everything with my family. There is no loss at all in every course, and the abundant ingredients unique to the land are carefully prepared, and all of them are very delicious, and the individual dishes requested by the order are prepared quickly. At the end, he made rice balls for dinner, which were full and could not be eaten, and he was able to provide a supreme time beyond the best. In addition, the breakfast at the dining hall I received the next morning was surprisingly luxurious with a large number of items, but the amount was gradually appropriate and very satisfying.
