I work at a hotel in Japan. This is the backyard, more than anything else. It's the best chill spot and I'm happy just being there. The location is great, the bed is spacious and the value is great.

Staying with Gui and Jittra was a real pleasure. A charmig and helpful couple who spoke good English.  Jittra will quickly prepare al kinds of dishes and beverages. The facilities are very good here with motor scooters available for hire.  The area is rural and peaceful. There are some amazing caves within walking distance. The area suites anyone who likes tranquility in nature. Many walks nearby and the roads are generally quiet. Also a few nice restaurants near.

I had a really great time at mad monkey! The staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful. I did my laundry, booked a bus ticket back to chiang mai and rented a scooter at the front desk. They oftentimes offer fun communal activities. The rooms were really modern and clean and the individual blacked out curtains provided enough privacy :) the location is not right downtown (but you can walk there in 10 minutes) which I loved bc it was quiet during night hours.

If you are doing Mae hon song loop it’s convenient to stay here. But its a bit pricy considering the room and amenities. There’s no water, coffee, tea nor toilet paper. No social vibes and it’s not that clean, but acceptable. It was definitely not “posh” to me… I mean it’s a hostel so I didn’t expect much but the facility is old and below average unfortunately…

One person has a room to himself, which is very cost-effective~ The environment is very good, the air conditioning is sufficient, and it is very clean! The staff are also very professional and responsible! ! ! ! However, it is not very lively here, and the atmosphere of the youth hostel is relatively deserted. It only takes 3 minutes to walk to 711, and the Lipai bus station is also very close!
