KK75Nice hostel. but just few points:
1. The reception was bit slow (service was amazing)
2. it is a bit vague where to enter the building
3. it is so hard and dangerous and scary climbing up/down the upper bunk bed!!!!!
goodpoints:
1. yummy breakfast
2. water dispenser available
3. hair dryer can be borrowed
4. there are 2 toilets and 2 shower booth in the room! no need to compete or wait
5. bed was wide enough and confortable
GGuest UserPleasant stay. Staff were nice and facilitated a slightly earlier check in. The place is nicely designed and seems to follow high standards of cleanliness. The bathrooms smell like Chlorine, but I assume that is a good sign given that it is a very public and well used part of the building.
I have read that the place had a bedbug issue and was a little worried, but I have found no sign of it after staying. Overall, a very positive experience.
PPOOOOHANVery comfortable hotel, there is a large lounge area on the second floor for rest, the kitchen is also quite convenient with a water dispenser and all the equipment. Good location, highly recommended
VVirus-97Arguably the best hostel experience ever. From the check in to the free breakfast and lockers. The bed was super comfortableand the shared bathrooms had enough privacy. I could leave my bags before check in for free. Walkable to the main attractions and close to the main shopping area. Definitely changed my mind about hostels.
YYPLIt was difficult to locate the hostel as it was a small door with a colourful poster (not eye catching initially) beside an Kebah resturant. Lift was the old sch lift but im glad it work with my heavy luggage. The staff was friendly, check in was easy. Room was awesome as i was the only 1 on the last day (4 bed female dorm). However a bit noisy along the corridor in the middle of the night at other rooms. Breakfast was cheap and simple, was being serve. Overall its a good stay and walking distance to every location.
GGuest UserIt's best not to stay here in winter; it's too cold, and I often wake up freezing at night. Breakfast is decent but filling. The location is excellent; it's convenient to get around. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
GGuest UserLoves this hostel but no lift, kitchen is a underground floor, have cooking facility, breakfast is euro three but only bread with jam butter n cheese. Hot drink teh coffee and milk. No eggs no yoghurt. No fruits. Dormitory Room is big with toilet inside. Location is very good. Near to Sao Bento metro. A lot of shopping area around the hostel. Very good, will stay there again. Housekeeping is well kept. Staff is friendly and helpful. We stay four days three nights there.
JJinchan@To give an objective and fair review, this hotel has a great location and the beds are large and comfortable. However, the bed frames are connected, so they shake when someone turns over. Aside from that, there are no other hardware issues.
Furthermore, I have to give a bad review to a female staff member at the breakfast counter. I noticed other customers had orange juice, but there wasn't any on the breakfast table. I then discovered it was coming from the kitchen. When I went to the kitchen, a woman stopped me, told me to leave, and said the kitchen door was closed (it's an open kitchen). She then ignored me. I then asked a male staff member if I wanted to buy orange juice. He asked for my room number and then gave me a serving of orange juice, bread, and yogurt—all standard breakfast items—but handled it in a very inexplicable way.
SSHAK-I have been traveling for 2 weeks across multiple cities in Europe, staying in several hostels, and so far, this one stands out as superior. First of all, the staff were amazing—very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean and well-organized, and the amenities were perfect. I honestly enjoyed my time in there.
LLeeLocation is really good! I got off the subway station and got to climb some hills, but it was only 5 minutes away. The staff at the hostel was nice and helpful. Although the facilities were mixed for 10 people, the room was really spacious and the bed was very good. 10 people but never crowded. There is a dryer too! I have a locker and give me a locker key. Breakfast is just okay Bread cheese ham juice water coffee It's nice to have a rest outside in the morning. Ah, the Wi-Fi didn't go well in the room. Anyway, it is recommended !!! I'll be here again. And I thought I had a paid winery tour at the hostel, but it felt less organized ..! This is light ...
