This place is so relaxing to stay in! It’s a super nice little cafe with the rooms in the back through locking doors for easy access and security. The service is mostly seen outside your room as there isn’t much to be serviced inside, either way they were very friendly and helpful with menus in different languages and all that. The facilities for our room were all you needed, our “bunks” being cubby’s in the wall with lots of space and a locking compartment below for bags or valuables. The bathroom is tight compared to what I was used to in Canada, but it has your toilet, sink, and shower. What more do you need? Lastly the food was very very good, this was our first stay on our trip from Canada so maybe it’s normal here but it is so fresh and simply tasted awesome! Highly recommend!
It was a rainy day when I arrived in Porto and saw a very sad city, but it was still incredibly beautiful.
Susana, the person in charge of the hostel when I arrived, was the best part of the stay, kind, smiling, she reminded me that, even on days like this, the sun is always there. I will definitely come back.
Recommendation: always bring earplugs: choosing a female room to avoid snoring is a dream. We snore too😂
To give an objective and fair review, this hotel has a great location and the beds are large and comfortable. However, the bed frames are connected, so they shake when someone turns over. Aside from that, there are no other hardware issues.
Furthermore, I have to give a bad review to a female staff member at the breakfast counter. I noticed other customers had orange juice, but there wasn't any on the breakfast table. I then discovered it was coming from the kitchen. When I went to the kitchen, a woman stopped me, told me to leave, and said the kitchen door was closed (it's an open kitchen). She then ignored me. I then asked a male staff member if I wanted to buy orange juice. He asked for my room number and then gave me a serving of orange juice, bread, and yogurt—all standard breakfast items—but handled it in a very inexplicable way.
I have been traveling for 2 weeks across multiple cities in Europe, staying in several hostels, and so far, this one stands out as superior. First of all, the staff were amazing—very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean and well-organized, and the amenities were perfect. I honestly enjoyed my time in there.
Location is really good! I got off the subway station and got to climb some hills, but it was only 5 minutes away. The staff at the hostel was nice and helpful. Although the facilities were mixed for 10 people, the room was really spacious and the bed was very good. 10 people but never crowded. There is a dryer too! I have a locker and give me a locker key. Breakfast is just okay Bread cheese ham juice water coffee It's nice to have a rest outside in the morning. Ah, the Wi-Fi didn't go well in the room. Anyway, it is recommended !!! I'll be here again. And I thought I had a paid winery tour at the hostel, but it felt less organized ..! This is light ...

WWestopiaFantastic location and large common area, with inclusive breakfast and a welcome drink at their downstairs bar! The domitory is clean with all the facilities you would need, and the staff are all very nice! There are hot water in both the shower and the sink, which I really appreciate. If they could provide hair-dryer in the dorms it would be perfect, right now you can only borrow one from the reception, and you might not br in luck if someone else has taken it.
AAixa MestralletThe hostel is near the Church of Santa Catarina. It's in a great location with nice bars nearby. The hostel is very clean and the common areas (kitchen, living room, and outdoor garden) are very well-maintained. I would happily return. I slept in the 12-person mixed dorm and had a good experience.

VVirus-97Arguably the best hostel experience ever. From the check in to the free breakfast and lockers. The bed was super comfortableand the shared bathrooms had enough privacy. I could leave my bags before check in for free. Walkable to the main attractions and close to the main shopping area. Definitely changed my mind about hostels.
GGuest UserIt was so beautiful and insanely good!
We stayed in a dormitory with a mix of 6 people. The room has a locker with a key, two separate toilets and two showers. The hair dryer is also very good. You can also use the shared kitchen and refrigerator.
The staff was very kind and helpful.
YYPLIt was difficult to locate the hostel as it was a small door with a colourful poster (not eye catching initially) beside an Kebah resturant. Lift was the old sch lift but im glad it work with my heavy luggage. The staff was friendly, check in was easy. Room was awesome as i was the only 1 on the last day (4 bed female dorm). However a bit noisy along the corridor in the middle of the night at other rooms. Breakfast was cheap and simple, was being serve. Overall its a good stay and walking distance to every location.
GGuest UserIt's best not to stay here in winter; it's too cold, and I often wake up freezing at night. Breakfast is decent but filling. The location is excellent; it's convenient to get around. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
GGuest UserLoves this hostel but no lift, kitchen is a underground floor, have cooking facility, breakfast is euro three but only bread with jam butter n cheese. Hot drink teh coffee and milk. No eggs no yoghurt. No fruits. Dormitory Room is big with toilet inside. Location is very good. Near to Sao Bento metro. A lot of shopping area around the hostel. Very good, will stay there again. Housekeeping is well kept. Staff is friendly and helpful. We stay four days three nights there.
