苏敏Lub d sets the standard for what a modern hostel should be. I’m usually pretty picky about where I stay, but this place perfectly nails the balance between a social backpacker hub and a clean, upscale boutique hotel.
The design is what caught my eye first. It has a super cool, industrial look with raw steel and minimalist spaces.
The biggest game-changer for me was the bed setup. Instead of having to climb up a sketchy, creaky vertical ladder to get to the top bunk, they actually built solid wooden steps into the frame. The pods have thick blackout curtains and their own outlets, so you actually get decent privacy. Even the shared bathrooms feel high-end—super spacious, clean, and they even have hair straighteners. If you work remotely, the Wi-Fi is great and they have actual co-working areas where you can focus. When you're done, the social vibe centers around this awesome pool area. It’s incredibly easy to meet people, but it never feels like an obnoxious party hostel where you can't get any sleep. A huge bonus: they serve have spinning wheel that you can get prize on it~ I hope they will do this for every check-in and every extension, it is exciting to play. Because you can only play once. 😩
It’s right in the middle of everything, walking distance to the night markets and local food spots. If you want a place that’s spotless, well-designed, and social without being exhausting, look no further.

TuristRUPerfect. 4 pools with perfectly clean water, though there's a lot of chemicals, making the water taste slightly acidic. The cleanliness and service are like that of a top-tier hotel. There's plenty of staff, and a thorough cleaning is done every morning. Daily themed activities are offered, including yoga, Apsara dances, city bar crawls, sunrise tours at Angkor Wat, and much more. Breakfast is a bit pricey. There's a 24-hour guarded parking lot for motorbikes. A water cooler is available for free. Lots of young people from Europe. The staff is like that of a 7-star hotel.

Anonymous UserFront desk personnel are all accommodating and very helpful. The location is great and is in the center of everything. Room was clean and adequate. The only problem I encountered were the mosquitoes inside the room. Not sure how they came in since my room (with bunk beds) does not have any windows but they did and were there until I checked out

I used it on a man trip with a friend. It was a few minutes walk from Pub Street and in a very accessible location, and the price was the lowest in the downtown area. The room was clean, but if you are concerned, you need to be careful because the toilet and shower partitions get wet when you take a shower. And women may be concerned about that because they didn't have a dryer.

I stayed at Mad Monkey Siem Reap and honestly had a really fun experience. The vibe is super social and it’s very easy to meet new people, especially if you’re traveling solo. There are daily events, a pool area, and a bar where everyone hangs out, so it never feels boring.
The location is great — just a short walk to Pub Street and the night market, which makes it really convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they made the atmosphere even better.
The rooms were decent and clean for a backpacker hostel. It can get a little loud at night because it’s a social place, but that’s kind of expected. If you want to party, meet people, and enjoy Siem Reap, this is a good choice. If you’re looking for something super quiet and private, maybe not.
Overall, I’d recommend it for solo travelers and anyone who wants a fun hostel experience in Siem Reap.

It’s a nice little hostel, it’s perfect for backpacks, solo travelers, small families or people who are just stopping by. I came here right before Khmer New Years and stayed for 3 nights in a little single room.
The price is affordable, especially for those who are traveling on a budget. Despite the low pricing, the room was up to standards, it was clean and had everything I needed.
The location was convenient, it was close to the main area of Siem Reap and a large short 20 minutes distance from Angkor Wat. Because it is further from the party district, I was able to get a quiet night sleep.
The restaurant had a mix of Cambodian and Western foods.
The staff were friendly, informative, helpful and welcoming. They spoke English and available 24/7.
I would stop by here the next time I’m planning on having a short term stay in Siem Reap!

It's about a 10-minute walk from the Old Market, and just the right location away from the hustle and bustle.
The staff were very friendly, the price was cheap, and the accommodation was very clean.
I'll stay here again if I have the chance, and I'll recommend it to friends who are going to Siem Reap.
Also, the cats are cute.

Good service, staff were friendly. Near restaurants and shops. Only a short walk or tuk tuk to pub street area. Only 15/20 minutes to Angkor wat. Good tuk tuk and taxi availability. Nice pool with sunbeds. There is also food and drink available, as well as a pool table. Room was spacious, with smart tv. Shower has hot water. There was mould in the bathroom.

I originally booked this hotel for 3 nights but it was such an amazing stay that I made a new reservation for 2 additional nights. The staff are very welcoming and kind. The rooms are very comfortable with a strong air conditioning which was most welcoming after being outside in the sweltering heat. The location is just perfect - right around the corner is Pub Street and several restaurants/super markets. There's a market nearby that has free cultural performances at night. The drive to Angkor Wat was only 15 minutes by tuk-tuk. The hotel is in a quiet location despite Pub Street being around the corner. And I'm very grateful for how quickly the hotel got my laundry done - and such a great deal. I highly recommend this hotel!
