Located in the centre of Siem Reap, The Funky Villiage hostel is within earshot of a lot of attractions in this part of Cambodia. It's best to get a taxi from the airport to reach this destination, as the less expensive buses will not take you directly there & with the hassle of then getting a tuktuk for the remainder of the journey, you might as well shell out a bit more for the sake of feeling more relaxed when you arrive. Funky artwork all over this funky hostel situated on Funky Street. A very, very cheap option, but you will get exactly what you paid for 'nothing more'.

Great location, clean hostel, good value for money, and excellent service. The only minor issues were that the room near the air vent was a bit cold and the blanket was a bit thin. Despite that, this hostel is top-tier among hostels.

Excellent stay in Siem Reap! I had a wonderful stay at Onederz Siem Reap. The location is perfect—just a short walk to Pub Street, the Night Market, and many restaurants, while still being quiet enough for a good night's sleep. The hostel is exceptionally clean, and the facilities are more like a resort than a typical hostel, with multiple swimming pools, comfortable common areas, and a great restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with tours, transportation, or any questions. My private room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. The Wi-Fi was fast, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. What impressed me the most was the balance between a social atmosphere and a peaceful environment. It was easy to meet other travelers, but the hostel never felt too noisy or overcrowded. I would highly recommend Onederz Siem Reap to anyone visiting Angkor Wat, whether you're a solo traveler, a couple, or a group of friends. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Cambodia!

I'm Japanese. I stayed for 2 nights from July 15, 2026. I previously reviewed this as a good hostel, but I need to correct that. It's an amazing hostel! It was so good that I extended my stay. There are very few downsides, but if I had to name them, the key cards break easily. I stayed a total of 3 days and they broke twice. They were replaced immediately at the front desk, but some people might find it stressful. Also, there's no water dispenser, so you have to ask the bartender on the 4th floor for water. It's free, but a bit of a hassle. Another thing is that the bicycle parking is unclear. When I tried to park outside, someone told me 'not here,' but then at night, the location changed again, and I was directed to a locked garage next door. There's a guard-like person there 24/7, so it's best to ask them. The cleaning staff is quite...

I stayed at Mad Monkey Siem Reap and honestly had a really fun experience. The vibe is super social and it’s very easy to meet new people, especially if you’re traveling solo. There are daily events, a pool area, and a bar where everyone hangs out, so it never feels boring. The location is great — just a short walk to Pub Street and the night market, which makes it really convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they made the atmosphere even better. The rooms were decent and clean for a backpacker hostel. It can get a little loud at night because it’s a social place, but that’s kind of expected. If you want to party, meet people, and enjoy Siem Reap, this is a good choice. If you’re looking for something super quiet and private, maybe not. It’s a nice little hostel, it’s perfect for backpacks, solo travelers, small families or people who are just stopping by. I came here right before Khmer New Years and stayed for 3 nights in a little single room. The price is affordable, especially for those who are traveling on a budget. Despite the low pricing, the room was up to standards, it was clean and had everything I needed. The location was convenient, it was close to the main area of Siem Reap and a large short 20 minutes distance from Angkor Wat. Because it is further from the party district, I was able to get a quiet night sleep. The restaurant had a mix of Cambodian and Western foods. The staff were friendly, informative, helpful and welcoming. They spoke English and available 24/7. I would stop by here the next time I’m planning on having a short term stay in Siem Reap!

It's about a 10-minute walk from the Old Market, and just the right location away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were very friendly, the price was cheap, and the accommodation was very clean. I'll stay here again if I have the chance, and I'll recommend it to friends who are going to Siem Reap. Also, the cats are cute.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel! 🫶 The best part was that I never felt alone here. I met people from different countries, made new friends, and had so many fun conversations and memorable moments together. The atmosphere is really nice, everyone is friendly and open, and the staff were welcoming as well. I would especially recommend this place if you’re traveling solo and want to meet new people and make friends. ❤️ If I come back to the city, I’d happily stay here again! ✨

Can’t recommend enough. The staff were all so lovely and helpful. We accidentally broke our shower head and they fixed it as soon as we told them. Everything was clean and the hotel is in a good location. A good bargain.
