The hotel location is nearby the drop in and loading area in asterion if U coming from the airport. The staff is good especially the skinny guy I forget his name and he always works at midnight shift. He is polite and kind and willing to help U and solve your issue. I felt comfortable staying here and because of 24/7 reception I suggest this to anyone to stay. I definitely come back. (And extend more)

A fantastic place to stay in the heart of Budapest and near to all attractions. The room was big and clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A big shout out to Hanni at reception for helping me with directions to getthe airport bus

Maverick Central Market is a gem for solo travelers like me! 🌟 The location is unbeatable—right near the Danube, markets, and public transport, making exploration a breeze. The dorms are spotless, with comfy beds, blackout curtains, and spacious lockers. The shared bathrooms are pristine and well-maintained. I loved the friendly staff who made check-in seamless and even offered great local tips. The gym was a surprising bonus—perfect for staying active on the go 💪 While it can get lively at night, the vibe is social and fun. Overall, a fantastic stay with excellent value for money. Highly recommend! 😊

The day I checked in on 18.1.25, write after 5 mins I came down to reception to complaint about toilet not draining and completely clogged with toilet rolls. Receptionist told me to wait for 1-2 hours and it will go, which didn’t happen till night. When I came to reception again the same night, other receptionist told me he will send someone from engineering on 19th to clean, no one came on 19th. When I went to reception on 19th morning, she told me no maintenance in house and it can only be fixed on Monday 20th. Lack of miss communication between team members can be seen here. They offered me to room moves but I denied because I already had my stuff unpacked in locker.  First 2 nights, I had to come downstairs to use toilet even at midnight. I was only offered a breakfast voucher for one day where in for a person who is vegetarian has near to 0 options except fruits, bread, yogurt, porridge.  I was in room 128. I’m looking for some kind of compensation and would like manager to reach out to me at the earliest.  Shah

The hotel is very clean overall. The room, toilet and bathroom are very tidy and not messy. The location is also very good, close to the train station and convenient transportation nearby. Very close to the city, many attractions and food can be reached on foot.

Perfect! The whole hostel is clean. Interior design is nice and attractive. Bedrooms are equipped with access card and inside there is enough space for big luggages and people doing activities. Just one thing annoying is the lockers under the bed. It's noisy everytime theres someone pull and push and put or take their belongings inside. Standing lockers will be less noisy. Location is near to metro station.

There is a bar downstairs, which is super noisy. The noise lasted until 4 o'clock in the morning. The kitchen is large and has all the kitchen utensils. The luggage storage room is on the top floor. I asked the front desk for the password. It felt a bit unsafe. The toilet is not ventilated and is very small. We are Asians. Children think it is small, but foreigners think it is even smaller.

This hostel wins according to its strategic location. For solo travellers and young people, this place seems to suit better especially when you only need a place to lay down and rest. Other than that, nothing special. I was waiting for more than an hour for my room to be ready after checking in. If I did not ask, I would’ve waited longer. Also, for Dorm option, I have to pay the deposit 10€ (cash or card is fine, which I paid cash), and it is returned upon the check out.

The hostel is not far from downtown, three metro stops from Deak Ferenc ter (square), the central downtown transit hub. And the metro station is 100 meters from hostel. I was received by an unkind and unfriendly female receptionist who did not want to give me a bed far away from the AC. I checked in at 15:30, when the other beds were available, but she was just lazy to change my bed. In the evening as the AC was blowing so hard and I did not want to wake up sick in the morning, I had to ask another receptionist to find me another room where the AC was blowing normally. He had a hard time to find another bed. When the next day during check out I talked to the manager and stated that I was not happy with the unkind receptionist, she got even more angry. However, the front desk manager noted my complain about the AC and said they would be working on it. Upon picking my luggage I noted that my towel was stolen from the towel rack on the fourth floor terrace. Actually, you have to pay to rent a towel, and some guests do not want to do it, they prefer stealing other guest’s towels. I checked out with the front desk, and they investigated the missing towel with cleaners, but did not find my towel, which was very different than hostel’s ones. I was happy that my luggage that was left at the reception desk upon check out was ok.

Did not sleep well here at all. There is no privacy in the room, it's not expensive or difficult to put up some sheets or curtains. Very poor effort. It's like sharing a room with your siblings all over again. Very thin walls too so the next door group kept us awake It's supposed to be quiet after 10pm but they all late check in, as a result I was woken by 2am check ins. The socket next to my bed didn't work, neither did the lamp. The pillow is dreadful. The bed is ok. Window didn't close fully and no curtains so sunrise woke me up. Excellent kitchen, comfortable lounge areas, 3 showers & 1 bathroom. All cleaned reasonably well. Check in was easy enough, she is very friendly. The building is absolutely beautiful. The entrance is next to PIZZA ME and a money exchange/kebab store. Supermarkets nearby. Metro & tram nearby. It is in an excellent location. It was cheap and actually good value, I just didn't sleep well If you like privacy and quiet then maybe give this one a swerve
