The hotel is surrounded by a superb environment and is located in a small forest park in the middle of the mountain with an open-air car park. The hotel environment is ok, relatively clean. The bed is a bunk bed, you need to shop yourself, check out and bring the sheets to the lobby for your return.
The front desk was very friendly and kind. The early check-in also received temporary luggage. Early flights and some people checked out, but after all, the Youth Hostel did not provide drinking water, but overall it was satisfactory.
I stayed one night in a shared mixed dorm. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and spoke English, which made check-in easy. Breakfast was basic but free, with bread, coffee, and juice. The hostel is not in the city center, but there is a bus stop right outside that takes you to the center in about 15 minutes. There is also a kitchen if you want to cook your own food, and lockers for your things. Good choice if you want something affordable and quiet.

A very special hostel. Run with dedication and passion. Many details that are important to travelers are taken into account. For example, plenty of space for secure luggage storage. Plenty of showers and toilets, which are constantly kept clean. The large kitchen (unfortunately, only a microwave) offers plenty of space, is kept excellently clean, and, as a highlight, a high-quality Jura coffee machine that will delight any coffee drinker. Delicious coffee is available around the clock at no extra cost. The only very large dormitory offers a highly private atmosphere thanks to its layout and lockable, spacious (!) beds. Mirror, headphones, monitor, light, power outlet... Everything is there.
I felt very comfortable at the Colo Colo.

The hotel is a very good location, and it is very good for you to stay in the hotel. The only remarkable thing is its excellent location, but it does not worth having a very good location at the expense of a certainly uncomfortable stay. We found hair on the bathroom floor at our arrival, and excess minimalism makes it little functional.

Basic good facilities for a hostel. Solo traveller to see a Springsteen show in San Sebastián. Hostel was a little out of the way but there is a good bus service. Staff are friendly and the breakfasts were lovely with a choice.
Un séjour bien : staff qui parle espagnol et un peu anglais malheureusement il y a pas de bagagerie, pour l'emplacement c'est à 25 minutes de la gare, bref c'est un hostel propre.

AAnonymous UserGood location and very seamless check-in. The room was clean and comfortable. The hostel allowed us to store our luggage at no extra charge, which was super convenient. Breakfast was okay. The only thing is that the shared bathroom could use a bit more attention to cleanliness, especially since it's used by around 10 people. Overall, though, it was quite a good experience!
GGuest UserI was affraid about this hotel, because majority of people who stayed here leave nagative respond. As for bed bug, I couldn't see it for couple of day. Receptionist are quite low key, and Hotel locates at slum area, also bit far away from the central.
Overall, hotel is still decent choice as long as you're in the moment to cut your expenditure off.

GGuest UserThe best thing about this hostel is localization.Very convenient to visit the city. A room was bit small but for one night stay I would recomend this hostel.
