Apartments in Johor, Malaysia

The trip was fun. We booked a hotel room and a resort apartment room with a swimming pool. The hotel room was clean, and so was the apartment room. The apartment had a kitchen, and each room had a bathroom. Lovely view, too.

I really liked the place, it was clean and exceeded my expectations. The furnishings were also new, and well equipped. The condo also has a very well equipped gym, the shops by the sea also looks good but we did not try. The only drawback to this place is the location, which has a lot of traffic due to its proximity with the checkpoint.

Very well furnished place, true to pics! No complaints about the unit. Only challenge was finding the mailbox to collect the keys. This is at the Sein area, phase 2 development. It's our first time at R&F hence not familiar with the area. For drivers, we need to make a detour after crossing woodlands customs. Maybe more convenient if taking public transport?

Love the room and the environment! It was quiet and cozy, as it was located outside the town area, yet just a 10-minute drive to Bukit Indah or Eco Botanic Shopping Galleria. The deluxe studio room also came with a balcony where you could enjoy views of green scenery and the Legoland landscape. You could also walk to the Mall of Medini, which is just a 5-minute walk from Legoland Malaysia!

The room was not fully cleaned up on entering the room at 7pm, and they forgot to give us keys to lock the room door but it was a 2 room unit with a shared main entrance so we had to request for keys at night to lock the door safely for the next few days. We checked in with the owner in the afternoon but the jam coming in was very bad so we had to rush off for our appointments. The check in process was clumsy and they insisted on taking our passport photos that Anju didn't require and a RM200 deposit that was only returned upon check out. The owner didn't register our car to the parking lot and we were stuck at the carpark for a few minutes while we tried to exit the carpark for supper. There was puke on the shower wall, hand prints on the mirror, and dots of puke in the toilet & sink. So I did some scrubbing to make it liveable since we're staying for 3 days. The coffee table also had hair and dandruff from previous user so it wasn't wiped down after use. The bed is nice and firm, I actually had a good night sleep on the bed as compared to the lousier beds at Anju. Unit provided us with cutleries, cookware and utensils and working washing machine which we utilised. Checking out was Abit messy because we cannot handover the keys and the carpark access card before leaving the carpark and 1 told us to handover at level 8 while the staff suddenly turned up at our door at 11.45am while we were still packing up. In the end we agreed to checkout at the carpark exit.. Price wise between YJYQ & ANJU, I would say YJYQ is more pocket friendly. And when I were to bring my family over for holiday, I would book YJYQ for the 2 bedroom join units. We also received a small door gift. 😀 Overall I personally like staying at R&F.

Unit was quite clean and spacious enough for family of 4. Easy to get grab to anywhere. Just not convenient to use the linkway from CIQ if you have luggages as you'll need to go up and down the stairs to reach the mall. Other than that, team was responsive! Would love to try other rooms next time.

We were welcomed by Didi at the check in counter. He was super polite and courteous and we were very happy when he upgraded us to the penthouse 3 bedroom . Although we stayed there for 1 night but his customer service skills was excellent. For the room wise, its spacious and every room has a connected bathroom. If you are expecting a quality hotel room then this is not the place for you. Cleanliness is 8/10. Maintenance 6/10. The wifi is good if you are close to the router. If not its unstable. But overall for a family reunion if you are not too picky is acceptable. The swimming pool also is normal and the toilet is superb. Is not dirty or not maintained. My family enjoyed the swimming pool and the breakfast was on bento and is delicious. If you want a buffet is an additional 20rm per pax for you to enjoy Frasers Place Puter Harbour buffet breakfast. Didnt take picture as we forgot. But overall stay for family is 8/10 for a serviced apartment setting. And also Thank you Didi for the welcoming and also the farewell 👍🏽

It seems to come down to management. I’m truly curious about the staff’s training because their professionalism is lacking. When we came in, the three ladies stayed seated “working on Facebook”, only after I tried to make eye contact did they look up. Later in our stay, a young man and woman in the resort uniforms cut in between our group going through a doorway. It was a little odd but I thought they might be other guests but then I saw they were employees. There seems to be no concern for respecting guests. I agree with the negative breakfast buffet feedback- yikes. It was a true waste of money when we could’ve done much better calling in our own food or preparing ourselves. The beach is dirty but quiet and that was nice for our young children.

Overall it was a very nice stay, few points for the host to consider: 1- To add grills on every window. Since its at Level 26, and for it to be safe for family with kids, best to secure the windows with grills. I was anxious at night thinking what if my kids sleep walk and open the window. Maybe too paranoid with many cases of kids falling off from high rise houses nowadays 2- To at least provide shampoo as well 😅 3- To consider to prepare some Sejadah and sign of Qiblat direction for Muslim customers. You may call Ahli Falak Johor to do it Thank you!

Such a nice place and location.. the studio is ample enough for both of us..everything is provided plus cooking utensils and washing machine.. if the owner could provide dryer is better for those staying more than 3 days..i’m really satisfied and wish to book again if i’m going to Johor in the future .. tqvm

Fantastic hotel room with a full sized playground slide, rock climbing wall and other fun play things within the room itself. Also has projector screen TV loaded with awesome sound system. 2 of the beds are situation in the loft level and you can just lepak from the bed to watch the screen! Hotel is very well-maintained with very good large swimming pool, 2 full sized clean and nice playgrounds, and other amentities like gym etc. Only thing is that it's located near Big Box and Legoland side of JB, not near the JB central and other mall areas.

Pros: - New building with modern touch - Good basic apartment facilities - Excellent location (close to Legoland, Medini Mall, 7-11) - Spacey apartment with basic amenities - Cons: -None Recommended place to stay if you are going to Legoland.

The apartment is made up of 2 apartments - a one br, and a two br, each with a living and kitchenette area. However the fridge and tv reside in the 2 br. The two sofa beds have very thin mattresses, and the air conditioning in the master of the 2 br does not work. The shower area in this room’s en-suite bathroom floods. Overall the air conditioning is not cool. The kitchen lacks any cook ware, microwave or toaster but there is enough table ware for very simple meals. Thankfully there is a kettle. This is good for 6 to 10 pax but only for a short stay, and keep your expectations low. For the price per night, you have to expect bare basics. What we loved: the seperate areas living areas and partitions, the sun rise in the morning, and lots of wardrobe space (although not needed). Location is great is you drive or take a grab. Walking to LEGOLAND is great but you might not want to do it with loads of bags and kids as there is no real pavement and doing it was tough for us. Save the effort and spend 10RM on a grab.

The apartment was ok but all the room there’s NO HANGER. And there’s no shampoo,and 1st room there’s a mirror but no cabinet . Master bedroom there’s a cabinet but no mirrorr. 🤦 And the WATER HEATER is not working, bathroom floor trap choke.

Love 🩵this Homestay . Make us feels like home . It's a very convenient place to stay if you're going to Legoland . Only less than 5 minutes walk you'll reach the Main entrance of Legoland, really recommended this place, if we're coming back, we will stay here again. If you need groceries, there are supermarket B.I.G at Medini mall, you can get everything there. Everything is so convenient. The house is clean , even have washing machine, you can was you cloths if you want. Have cooking utensils & microwave. The place is perfect . You can cook like at home if you wanted to. If they can ready big bowls & extra pillows . It will be even more wonderful.

Clean and big. Have Restorans at driving distance. Make sure u know which tower u booked. Kitchen is fully equip. Air conditioner working well.

My experience is great with my family for 4 days 3 night. Very convenient and easy access to everything and near to the mall too. Really would love to recommend my family and friends too. Love the place. Nice and clean. Love it so much! A most memorabl experience for me and my family. ♥️ Fast and easy check-in and check-out.

This apartment is great with cozy style and feel modern too. We have 3bedrooms and living room w sofa , dining and kitchen too. Aircon also work well , cool . We may recommend this type of apartment when you come with more family members or come with more friends. Shopping mall just link from ground floor where you can shopping,eating ,karaoke etc. The only one thing we suggest is increase visibility for grab/taxi to go in to apartment lobby where most of them don’t know how to come . The place location is good but the problem is very difficult to communicate cos I don't understand Malay .

Great location as it is near to places we frequent. Apartment was ok. Security is tight which is good. Downside is only one car allowed to park at designated lot despite it being a family friendly apartment. We had 6 adults and a toddler. The apartment we got is not kids friendly. Remotes for TV and aircon were missing batteries and not working well. The balcony was missing a wooden panel. Luckily I noticed so I had to keep the sliding doors locked at all times as I have a toddler. Toilet floors were super slippery when wet and we fell as a result. Furnitures and appliances were dated, beds/mattresses had squeaking sounds. Overall ok lah for short stay. Not the most comfy but bearable. Might come back again as the location is convenient for us.

Sufficient for a night stay with the basics- bed is clean, water pressure is good. Like that there's a spacious living room - actually its good to invite friends over for short drinks but no extra beds for guests. Find the tatami mat a bit dirty. Location is quite good - famous da tou lala claypot is just downstairs. Lots of ktv places within walking distance Checking in and out is fairly easy. Overall good for short stay
