Return Inn (Kashgar Ancient City Branch)

Ancient City of Kashgar
Great location,on a busy street close to everything. Since cars are not allowed in old town, this hotel is not too far inside old town, a taxi can drop you off and take only a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Hotel is very clean, the owner even gave me a free tour of the area, like The 100 year old tea store, where a free show is performed with camels and dancers, the 柱子街,油画街,彩虹🌈巷.I would definitely come back as a (归来客)the next time I am in kashgar (喀什). She knows about the area very well, just ask her like the 1 reminbi bus ride (the number 20yellow bus only)to 香妃园

A home-away-from-home in the far reaches of Kashgar. The property is tastefully and thoughtfully furnished, from the seating area for interaction, to the beds in the dorms with the curtains for privacy, a nightlight and an electrical outlet. I especially like that there's a rooftop with clotheslines and pegs for drying my clothes since I can't get together a full load to use the washing machine/ dryer. The homestay is located in a local village about 20 minutes walk from the Old Town. However, this being Kashgar, the village is a Uighur village and you can interact with the locals staying here. There are lots of small shops and an entire street of food just on the street outside. Ella, the owner of the homestay/hostel, has a great personality suited to hosting guests - she is warm, outgoing, and sincere and loves laughter. She's like the glue that brings her guests together to form a social circle, though she's fully appreciates some people may prefer their downtime and respects that. It's not the peak season for travelling at the moment but even then, it's been great fun staying here.
HUAKE YOUTH HOSTEL

There is an access card, and it is safe to enter and exit 24 hours a day. The gate is shared with Super 8. It is not easy to find but easy to find. I walked around and looked up and saw the sign and felt funny. The room has a large space, reasonable layout, large floor-to-ceiling windows, and the air conditioning is 26 degrees Celsius, so the air is good. The small curtains are very light-blocking, and the small lights and big lights are just right, neither dark nor dazzling. 24h hot water is available for bathing, and body wash and shampoo are also provided. There is a shared video room. The bedding is also very clean. It is half an hour's walk from the train station. You can take bus 16 to the Old City International Grand Bazaar. There is plenty of time for check-out, and you can check out at 15:00. There are two large supermarkets nearby, but I didn't find any delicious food. I will stay here again if I come to Kuqa next time.

The location of the hostel is awesome! The dorms are okay, but at least my dorm was unorganized and not so clean. You can hear sound from the street quite well. The staff was kinda helpful, but when I asked about tours they just said they didn’t offer any. Maybe you could at least suggest a tour operator and not just say ”no”? They were also doing some painting and the paint was all over the staircase. The rooftop could be really nice, but it was also under construction.

I finally found a youth hostel that I am satisfied with. The atmosphere is the best I have ever stayed in. It reminds me of the feeling of Kashgar. There is a building on the left and right. There is a bed building at the entrance, a spacious courtyard in the middle, and a B&B building at the end. The decoration style looks very comfortable. The room is also very clean and tidy, and there are cabinets for storing things. The 8-person room I stayed in is very spacious, with a separate toilet and bath. The air conditioner is very comfortable and of high quality. To be honest, you must experience this youth hostel when you come to Kashgar. If you don't have enough time, you really don't want to leave.
Yining Backpacker Youth Hostel

Really blown away this youth hostel! The bed is huge, bigger than the beds in hostels I've stayed in! And the environment is very clean and hygienic. The shower room has a cubicle and is equipped with shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, and a hair dryer. The seating area in the lobby on the first floor is large, where you can play table tennis, billiards, computers, and TVs. The terrace on the third floor is also great! After the sun goes down, it’s super comfortable to sit on the terrace chairs with friends and enjoy the breeze. Most of the residents are young, and they can chat and make friends together. They also get free watermelon to eat, and the atmosphere is really good. The only bad thing is that there are only two washing machines, so you have to try your luck to get one empty, but it doesn't hurt. I will stay here again in the future when I come to Yili.

Urumqi Railroad Bureau
The building is very safe, the lady at the front desk is also very enthusiastic, and the security uncle also helped deliver the luggage to the room, which is very satisfying. The location is also great. It’s convenient to go everywhere. It’s close to the subway and next to the shopping mall. The price/performance ratio is so high~

Not bad, there is a parking lot at the back, and there are convenience stores and restaurants downstairs. The only drawback is that there is no elevator, everything else is good.

Urumqi High Speed Railway Station
The room is very clean, the bed is big and soft. There is hot water for bathing, but you need to bring your own bath towel and towel. There are toiletries and toothbrushes, but you need to bring your own cup, which is reasonable. Don't worry about silence at night, the sound of the air conditioner is like a motor, humming in your ears, and you are no longer afraid of silence

I accidentally broke into a very beautiful place, a group of ”old guys” who are very Monet and very diligent and work overtime until two in the morning~ It was four o'clock in the morning with the boss lady. Listening to her stories and the vision of the space she created, as well as her sense of strength to persist in doing it, made me feel like I was going back to the time when I was a backpacker more than ten years ago. I hope everyone can feel the energy of warmth, love and tolerance~ I can’t wait to come back to Yarkand, looking forward to the Xiko coffee in the store, the reading club of local Uighur children, the completed painting studio, picture books... and the teahouse in the old city, the VIP ”old site”... Of course, the room and yard must be It’s unexpectedly tasteful. Everyone is welcome to come and explore for treasure~ It’s definitely worth the trip. Thank you for meeting me🙏
