Super lucky to book this treasure youth hostel! From the moment I stepped into the door, I was cured. The public area was arranged with a super atmosphere. The wooden tables and chairs were matched with green plants and warm lights, like a warm living room of a friend's house. The cleanliness of the room far exceeded expectations. The beds are equipped with blackout curtains, charging sockets and night lights. The privacy is full. The hygiene is also in place, and the price is very high.

Lovely guesthouse, very aesthetic, clean, and comfy rooms. Laundry is free however there is no lift so a lot of stairs to walk up to the top floor! There is a cosy common area downstairs and lots of outdoor seating where the views are stunning. Lots of international guests and was a lot more sociable than anywhere else we’ve stayed in China. The reception staff speak English and are both very helpful when booking tickets for the attractions, they have lots of information on display about local activities and scooter/bike hire from the hostel. Location is a bit of a walk to West Street but worth it and there are lots of shops and restaurants on the way, notably Jane’s restaurant almost opposite which does western food and breakfast.

The old place is very convenient, Parkson upstairs, close to Zhongshan Road and Third Street and Two Lanes. The quadruple room I live in has no independent bathroom. I think the two wooden beds in the room can be repaired. The bed and turn over are a bit shaking and loud. The only downside is that the random roommate is very loud. Sleeping on her upper bunk feels like sleeping on a tractor full of pigs. I was woken up at three in the middle of the night. I couldn’t sleep until she didn’t snor. I slept too much this night. I hope that those who sleep and snoring and molar feet will consciously go to live in a single room. Don't be ho ho.

Amazing hostel. Walkable from the bus station in 5 minutes. Quick check in and manager spoke good English to explain everything to us, including about the activities in the area. Added to wechat for information about food and group chat to connect with other travellers. 4 person dorm, only 3 in there. Spacious and good air con. Locker for each person provided. Squat toilet (for those who struggle with this). Great communal space in reception and bar and offer meals for additional cost. We would have stayed longer, we loved it

Had a pleasant stay. I booked a basic room as I just needed a place to sleep had an early morning flight the next day good place for young solo and group travellers,room was clean, had all the amenities mentioned. The building itself is old, so rooms are not newly built aesthetic. Owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming they also offer help on arranging activities and tours if needed. Would recommend if you also want to meet other people. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Easy to find and easy to get Didi taxis. Has a very good energy and great community vibe :) good memories were created. Thank you for a great stay! 😌

I went to this International Youth Hostel for 5 days during the national vacation of China. The staff was very welcoming and the room very clean. The room are for 4 peoples only and it’s not mixte so I field very secure and comfortable. I pay less then 10€/ per day with breakfast and all first necessary cares like toothpaste and shampoo. The bed have curtains so it’s look like a little room with charger and light to not disturb others (and you at the same time). If you are a student like me with a low income it’s the perfect place for you ! ❤️😊

This youth travel is good, Ba Shi is very good, cost-effective, clean and bright, well decorated, and very comfortable. Private bed curtains, free air conditioning, digital charging sockets on the bed, convenient charging. The pillows are fluffy and soft, the bathroom is very clean, the hot water comes quickly, the water pressure is strong, and the bath is very cool. There is also a small bar in the lobby. You can also have a little wine at night. Everyone shares their own experiences. It is quite interesting. There is no strangeness of traveling alone. You can also go out to play with friends who live here. There are restaurants and convenience stores at the door, and it is very convenient to eat.

Helpful with giving information about hiking about nearby mountains and water activities. There is a wall with the information on it and they can send via WeChat more detailed directions. Good stay and great value for money.

I booked a bed in a 4-bed dormitory, with AC. Because the room was not clean enough, i got an upgrade in a private bunked bed room, with a private bathroom. All was clean. Laundry facilities. The WiFi was good. The staff is very nice and friendly. The location is very convenient. I would definitely recommend this place for a short or a long stay.

Facilities: The store manager sister just opened in October this year, so the facilities and equipment are very new and can be used with confidence (and the home appliances are some well-known brands). The toiletries are also very good, especially the bed is very soft. There is a cabinet at the head of the bed to put your personal belongings. There is also a large terrace outside the room with many flowers and plants planted on it, which is also very OK for taking pictures. The public area is also very good. You can live outside at night and watch movies (you can also sit outside and chat with other sisters who come to travel, share what you see and hear. Here you can find travel partners and dry food partners to play together) Service: The beautiful store manager sister is very enthusiastic. At that time, I couldn’t find a place, so I called her and she patiently guided the destination. And the store manager sister personally summarized a travel guide based on her experience for the friends who come to travel. Usually, you can go to the morning market and eat with the store manager sister (the fruits in the Heishan morning market are very cheap and the prices are very nice). Occasionally, she will organize hot pot and oil tea parties. I happened to catch up with the hot pot at that time. Several sisters who came to travel from various places sat together to chat and watch movies. The life was very leisurely. Surrounding environment: The location of the youth hostel is very convenient for travel in the city center. Not far from the youth hostel are tourist attractions such as the Sun and Moon Twin Towers, Pedestrian Street, East and West Lane, Xiaoyao Tower, Elephant Trunk Hill, Rong Lake, and Mulong Lake (basically you can walk there. If you don’t want to walk, you can scan the shared electric motorcycle to go to the above scenic spots for 2~3 yuan rental fee, and the bus is basically two yuan). It is also close to major transportation stations (Maybe a bit long, please forgive me, the real experience after checking in. I won’t say much, you can feel it for yourself)
