The accommodation experience in the townhouse is really authentic. The house is beautiful and very comfortable as soon as you enter the house. No matter how you take photos there, it is very interesting. We were very satisfied with the food at the hotel because we have family members who don’t eat beef. Although the hotel couldn’t do it at first, they were willing to communicate and let us choose different foods. Thank you very much!

The room was large enough for two people. It has free laundry service (the shower has a dryer, you just have to hang the clothes there and it works really well). Really close to a shopping street with nice restaurants and shops. Also super close to the bus that goes straight to kyoto station. The personnel were super nice and helpful

I used a dormitory that I used to save money because I was traveling alone, but it was very quiet and I rested better than I thought. The host also recommends a place to go to the surrounding restaurants and restaurants. He was so kind The hostel was clean and the breakfast was delicious. It's equipped with disposable supplies, towels and skin lotion. Close to the train station and take the Sanin main line, you will go to Arashiyama soon. However, the carrier storage is cleaned between 12 and 5 o'clock, so it cannot be stored in the hostel. You said you could put it in front of the front door, so I didn't know, so I left the carrier in front of the door except for the valuables. Anyway, I rest so well !!
Okuine Onsen Aburaya

In my personal experience of two meals in one hotel, the dinner was the richest. Although it was crab-themed, each person had a whole crab, other fish, and a lot of pot dishes. In the end, we couldn't finish it all, so the enthusiastic shopkeeper helped us take out the crab meat that we couldn't eat and shape it into 8 rice balls to serve as snacks for the next day. The hot springs are very good and the pool area is large. Both men's and women's hot springs have indoor and outdoor parts. It happens to be snowing in January, and there is nothing more wonderful in the world than soaking in the hot springs while enjoying the cold wind of Wakasa Bay. Most of the tourists are locals, so it's a very authentic experience. Thank you to the store

Highly recommended! The hotel room is very large, the price includes breakfast and dinner, you can see the pictures, the taste is very delicious, the portion is super big, really full! The taste and production are no less than Michelin restaurants. The hotel is very clean with built-in hot springs and external hot springs. It is quiet and comfortable on the mountain. The travel boss will drive us. There are very few hotel rooms. It is operated by the boss. The boss is very kind to help us carry our luggage to the second floor. All the dishes are also made by him. After eating breakfast the next morning, I packed a big bread with the jam he made himself to bring us to eat on the road. It is really touching to feel the warmth of such food, service, accommodation, and human feelings in Japan! I suggest you experience it at night in Kyoto Flower 1-2, pay attention to eat less when you go, because you really will eat!
RESI STAY Nishiki

Kawaramachi
The best location in the selected hotel in Kyoto! Just a few steps away from the house and turn left is the Jin Market. There is a main road nearby. The four most lively areas are super convenient for food and shopping! I will give priority to this one when I go to Kyoto in the future! Very self-service hotel, enter the door every day, and then use the key to open the door. Maybe the only inconvenience is that check-in is at Kyoto Station, but the problem is not big, and there will be a shuttle bus back to the hotel after registration. No breakfast, but no need at all! Because it is next to the Nishiki Market, I don’t have to worry about having no place to eat every day! In addition, it is very suitable for family travel. The annex building can accommodate 4 people, and the room in the main building can accommodate 5 people. The price/performance ratio is quite high!
Nozomu House Kyoto

Gion/Kiyomizu Temple
The property is excellent and nothing to complain. But one thing to complain with Trip.com. As the property is a stand-alone house with no reception. The hotel should have provided a password to the property door lock for me to enter the property upon arrival. However, I got no advice from Trip.com about such arrangement as well as the door lock password upon booking confirmation. I ended up spending almost one hour after arrival at the property to contact the hotel office to sort it out and to finally get into the property. Trip.com should do something to avoid such mistake from happening again for similar cases.
Uji Tea Inn

Booked two nights at Cha Inn, day 2 was room 206, the tatami, old furniture and small decorations were very nice, the air conditioner heated the room very quickly. Although it was a shared bathroom and the room was full that night, it was still very convenient. The only downside was that the window was facing a small street and there was occasional car noise, but it happened to be a little tired after walking for a few days, and I soon snored.
Kuraya Omiya Shimabara

Kyoto Station and surrounding areas
Lovely house in central Kyoto, easy and convenient to get around to other parts of the city by bus or train. Very clean and atmospheric, floor heating, ACs, water temperature control. Mind you this is a traditional house so taller people beware, you are going to have to practice some ducking. The nearby environment was very lovely and quiet with some caffès, food places and shops all within 10-20 mins walking distance. Definitely recommend this place and other properties under the same name if you prefer this kind of stay to a traditional hotel.

It was so enjoyable to stay here. There is a traditional rekan with all attributes to feel really Japanese culture. The hotel is located in quite area, around 15 minutes from Kyoto station. The administration explained all the rules that you should know. It has very thin walls so it’s possible to hear the neighbors, but for one night it was pretty ok. There is shower, toilet and sink in the room. Also teapot, teabags and hair dryer, so it’s very comfortable to live here. I appreciate to stay in such a hotel, thanks for great experience.
