This was the best hotel so far in China and we had great ones before too. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the room with view on mountains and lake was magical, especially the tea drinking area where we did our own little tea ceremony. The hotel provided 2 teas for free to try, which was so kind. The owner’s dog was the cutest thing, we took her to our room to play with her. :-) the breakfast and lunch were delicious. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming and even the level of English spoken was better than anywhere else in China. Hopefully I‘ll be back one day!

Without a doubt, Ancient Garden Yangshuo has been the best hotel of our entire trip to China! Sophia made everything so easy for us with her impeccable attention and kindness. The place is stunning, a gorgeous garden, a lovely pool, amazing views, and a super relaxing atmosphere. Our room was huge, comfortable, and the food was delicious. We also loved that they provide bicycles to explore the area! The team was always attentive, giving us great recommendations and even making reservations for us. They made everything completely stress-free. 100% recommended!!!

This tea-themed hotel I stayed at was a real surprise! From the very beginning, I felt incredibly caring—the owner even provided pick-up and drop-off, saving me a lot of trouble finding my way around. The hotel's ambiance far exceeded my expectations, far superior to the city-friendly chain hotels I've stayed in before. The elegant atmosphere of tea culture permeated every corner, making it incredibly comfortable. Even more unexpected, the hotel even had a swimming pool, perfect for relaxing on my downtime. The breakfast was also highly recommended; it was quite substantial and featured a variety of local snacks that were incredibly delicious. Plus, you can buy tickets directly at the hotel, which was quite affordable and very convenient. My only regret was that I was so caught up in the experience that I forgot to take photos to document it, so I could share them with everyone. Overall, I highly recommend it! Also, if you're planning a bamboo raft ride from Jinlong Bridge, definitely book here, as the Jiuxian Pier is right next to it, allowing you to catch your ride at 7:30 AM and return for breakfast.

When I first arrived I was quite disappointed that my room didn't look much at all like the photos on the listing. My one recommendation is that this is updated so that people have appropriate expectations... However, I could not help but enjoy my stay here. Overall the hotel felt exceptionally good value, laundry was done for me and I had access to a scooter. Breakfast tea and coffee all included as well. Xiaoming is also a fantastic and attentive host, who seems to look after all his guests well.

Cute place. Location is great for walking along the river and the fields. You can order food and coffee at the reception. They even have a free laundry and drying machine. Stuff at the reception can help you with the tours and book tickets for you with a little discount There were no hot water in the sink and the sink itself was leaking on the floor, it didn’t bother me much, but still

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, the facilities are amazing: from the clean and refreshing pool to the comfortable rooms, everything exceeded our expectations. What makes this place even more special is the unbeatable location. The view of the mountains and river is simply breathtaking, you can sit for hours just admiring the scenery. Another highlight was the boat service that takes you directly to West Street, the busiest and most vibrant street in town. It’s such a unique and convenient experience! Having all these things together—the view, the facilities, the warm hospitality, and the thoughtful touches—made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Yangshuo! 🌿✨

We absolutely loved this hotel! The location was great, the staff were friendly and could speak English, and the food at the hotel was amazing. This was one of our best experiences in China. I would recommend this place to anyone. The villa/farmhouse we stayed in is perfect for big groups. The villa/farmhouse has 5 big bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with a shower and western toilet. The food at the hotel was brilliant! The courtyard in front was lovely in the mornings for breakfast, and the restaurant on the roof was amazing in the evening, looking over the mountains. We loved it, will definitely be back there soon! Thank you for an amazing stay and friendly hospitality.

A homestay that is very suitable for a quiet and restful, the room is simple, clean and comfortable, the most important thing is that the service and atmosphere are very good, the first surprise comes from the book on the door shelf, choose the book taste online; Then the front desk lady asked if she wanted to eat Chinese or Western breakfast the next day. When her brain said ”all”, haha, she was actually satisfied, so she had a Western breakfast + a copy of hand + two cups of coffee configuration, um, as the big stomach king, I finished both. In addition, there are many foreign guests in the store, and I accidentally looked at a foreign lady. I told her ”hello” and she told me ”hello”. Haha, in short, it was very comfortable.

A guesthouse with its own garden – the little backyard is perfect for taking photos under the sun! The room environment is decent, though the details might not be as nice as a hotel, which is understandable. The room style is Instagrammable, and there's a great corner for photos! The guesthouse provides a washing machine and clothes drying rack. There's also a mahjong table on the first floor for entertainment. All the furniture is smart, with voice control via ”Xiaodu Xiaodu” – completely freeing up your hands. Perfect for families on a road trip. The surrounding area is quiet, allowing for a good night's sleep. The guesthouse also has charging stations and parking. There's a hilltop cafe nearby, perfect for taking photos at sunset. The guesthouse owner is incredibly welcoming and provides excellent service. Upon check-in, they immediately send you nearby travel guides for sightseeing! The guesthouse is also very close to nearby attractions, just a few minutes' drive away. I visited the Ten-Mile Gallery and took a bamboo raft ride on the Yulong River, among other things. Overall, it was a great travel experience!

The hotel staff is very polite and helpful, they also speak good English. As the hotel is about a kilometer out of town, they offer a free shuttle service. There are also a couple of bicycles that are free to use and in ok condition. We rented a scooter from the hotel for a day, which is more expensive than renting one by the road but it's super convenient and in very good condition, also comes with a charger. The pool is clean and served us well in very hot weather conditions. We only had breakfast once, which was fine but a little expensive for what it was. It's a western style breakfast though, for everyone who misses eggs and bacon, go for it. Overall, we were very happy with our stay!
