Shinian B&B is the most artistic homestay I have ever stayed in. The ancient style of ink and water combines modern classical sound equipment, which can't help but make people intoxicated. The name of the room is even more wonderful. Listening to the stream, with bamboo language, distant mountains, pine photos, Tibetan pavilion, a room corresponds to a picture, The picture of Wang Wei's ”Shanju Qiuyu” ”after the new rain in the empty mountain, the weather comes late in autumn. The bright moon pine photos, the clear spring stone upstream.” The picture is extremely pleasant. The homestay is about 5 minutes' drive from the food street and Huangyao Ancient Town Scenic Area. It is convenient to travel. The key boss and the proprietress are very approachable and good at talking. If you have deep communication, you can definitely talk for a long time. It is highly recommended that friends who come to Huangyao Ancient Town to stay in this residence, they will not regret it.

Dong Li Gu Cun was the most wonderful experience we had in China, with comfortable rooms and delicious meals. The staff is highly receptive and warm, with very good tips for the trip, and attention to details. We felt in heaven, in a awesome scenic area, with the true Chinese spirit. There are many options of activities throughout the village, from craftsmanship of chopsticks, porcelain, preparation of traditional food and beverages and much more. There are also many activities for children. Special thanks to Xia, Kay and Chen, for the cultural immersion and special attention, since we were the sole foreigners in the village. We highly recommend the Li River Craftsmen in the Spring Festival if you want to have a traditional experience, and we regret to spend only 4 days there, because we would like to stay at least a whole week. We intend to return in the near future.

I lived in the dream love store, Green hills are companions, paradise. 🌼 [Environment] The environment in the store is very comfortable. I originally booked another inn online. I was attracted directly by passing by this store. I immediately got off the bus and asked and changed to this folklore. It is the creamy style I like, the decoration milk is clean and tidy. The environment around the store has nothing to say. The curtains are opened to the vast lake. This eye feels worth the price. Opening your eyes is the green water and green mountains. It is very well-matched with the name of the store. The green mountains are hidden. The main thing is this feeling facing the sea, it is really relaxing. There is a private pool in the room, ending the day trip, soaking in a comfortable bath. We chose the suite, there is a private theater, lounge chairs drinking desserts to watch movies, Ba Shi. 🌼 [Service] The store's service is very thoughtful, warm and meticulous. The room was a staircase and helped us with our luggage. There are fruit and afternoon tea. The welcome counter on the first floor is a coffee bar book bar. You can sit and read a book, drink afternoon tea, and have a good taste cake. Afternoon tea can also be delivered to the room. Breakfast is provided to choose Chinese and Western styles, and the two stays can be the same, very intimate. There is good night dessert in the evening. When I checked in, it was white fungus red dates. It was sweet and not greasy. It could be comparable to a professional dessert shop. The store also provides us with free bicycles, which can be cycled around. But we were too lazy to rent an electric car. 🌼 [Disadvantages] The rooms here may be all stairs, and I really don't want to go down on the fourth floor. We took the baby to wash the clothes, there is no place to dry the clothes in the room, to go to another building, the laundry room is also on another building, not very convenient. The price is a bit expensive, but it is already intimate to upgrade us to make up the difference, occasionally come to live for a while, enjoy it, this price is still acceptable.

This was a local hotel that was situated on a peak facing Jinfoding (Golden Buddha Peak), so note it’s not on Jinfoding itself but still in the same area of Jinkeng Dazhai. I hired a driver via the hotel to fetch me from Guilin Airport to the hotel. Journey took about 3 hours using local roads, if you can somehow negotiate with your driver to take the expressway from the airport, it will be about an hour shorter and less scenic but also less nauseating. Access to hotel is pretty limited unless you hire a driver or you drive. If you take the bus from Guilin downtown/Airport, it will only alight you at the Dazhai parking lot, and you still need to make transport arrangements to get to the hotel within the scenic area (anywhere between 20-40min drive) but the boss is helpful and very contactable (phone call or wechat). I wouldn’t recommend walking to the hotel cos it is situated at the top of a pretty steep hill and it is a one-car lane that goes both ways with many blind spots. At the hotel, you could choose to walk and hike the terraces to other viewpoints in Jinkeng, but note that the routes will be very long and exhausting. If you plan to visit other villages like Ping An Zhai, it’s about an hour’s drive away on mountain roads, and it’s best if you hire a driver as well. Overall, room was very clean and spacious and was true to trip.com description and pictures. Very comfortable, clean and scenic stay! Shower and toilet are separate and clean. There’s a bathtub situated right behind the bed, they provided disposable bathtub liner if you want to use it. Hotel is situated near one of the viewpoints in Jinkeng, but it was very misty on the day I hiked. From what I could make out through the mist, the views seem pretty epic. View from the room is great and the boss provided a welcome sweet rice wine drink with lunch which was great! The boss gave me some luohanguo as a souvenir when I checked out! Did I also mention, breakfast provided included a jar of fresh warm soy milk and a delicious bowl of rice noodles made to order! Will stay again in future!

I didn’t choose to live in a better city, but I lived in a scenic spot. It’s convenient to get up early in the morning and walk to the scenic spot in a few minutes. You know that you can enter the park for free before 8 o’clock. The room is OK according to the standard of ordinary homestays. The important thing is that there is an elevator. No need to carry luggage. Up and down the stairs, breakfast is a mini buffet. The taste is not bad because the store is too busy to taste their dinner. I went to the Goose Spring family next door (can't remember it, it seems to be this name). This store is not inconspicuous. I thought it was just to eat, but the boss. It makes people feel good when they open their mouths. It is the kind of reliable person. The dishes are served and tasted. The dishes ordered are delicious.

A family ran hotel with brand new amenities and really great views of the Jinkeng village rice terraces if you book the rooms with views. We only stayed for one night but we really appreciated the warm hospitality from the host family. The food, breakfast and dinner, were both quite good. Logistically, you have to contact the hotel to pick you up from the entrance of the Jinkeng village (bottom of the cable car) then it’s only a short 5-7 mins drive from there. We called the hotel thru our driver and everything worked out smoothly. Another highlight is that from this hotel, you can trek for about 40 mins thru the village and rice terrace to get to the highest viewing platform of the Jinkeng village. It was a bit of a workout but the views along the way was really worth it. The owner will send u a detailed guide of how to get there so you won’t get lost. Overall I would highly recommend for the views and the opportunity to trek a little deeper into the village and terraces and enjoy the tranquility there.

It is a farmhouse-style inn. The facilities and environment are very average. The beds are a bit hard. The price is not cheap during the Spring Festival. The store service is quite enthusiastic. There is a restaurant downstairs and the farm food is average. A small number of cars can be parked in front of the store. It is very good for the accommodation. You can choose if your requirements are not high. The only convenient thing is the location, very close to the ancient town gate, the car is parked at the store, and it is very convenient to visit the ancient town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, even at late hours. The location is very close to a couple of the main attractions in the area and being used to a cooler climate we really appreciated the fast cooling A/C. The covered trip to Xi Street is a nice touch as well, as it was a solid night time activity.

It is really a city in the sky, with a wide view. I lazily drink tea in the room and look directly at the magnificent terraces. The scenery is beautiful! The hotel rooms are comfortably and uniquely decorated. I especially like the mini multifunctional book bar, where I read, make tea, and brew coffee. Occasionally, I look up at the unobstructed view of the thousand-level terraces outside the window. I have been so comfortable these two days! The hotel service is also very thoughtful, and the personalized service covers all aspects. Because it is located on the top of the mountain, the road is rugged and difficult. The hotel is very considerate to send a car to lead the way and carry the luggage. For the farther attractions, the hotel takes the safety of the guests into consideration and takes the initiative to arrange vehicles to take the guests to see the scenery. It is very good 👍 In short, the city in the sky is worthy of its name, and I will come again! Check-in from March 6 to 8, 2025!

The homestay is clean and tidy, the bedding is very soft, the sleep is quiet and the sound insulation is good, the facilities are complete, the breakfast is rich in variety, the housekeeper will ask what you want to eat tomorrow in advance, and the afternoon tea is delivered, the price is worth, I will definitely recommend it to my friends, and I will choose here next time I travel!
