The location was incredibly good, really close to the street markets of the town, the Moon and Sun pagodas and other attractions. We particularly enjoyed the availability of the staff to share insights and recommendations, as well as the self-service traditional tea room. Also the design of the hotel and rooms was quite cosy and charming! Only negative note is the old entrance lift which is shared with the shopping mall nearby. One day we entered to go back to the hotel and found two full garbage bins inside the lift waiting to be emptied. Apart from that, positive experience!

The host can speak english and very polite and offer tours at reasonable price (cheaper than trip.com or viator). If l booked li jiang river cruise including transportation to the pier for 300 yuan. The hotel also close to guilin railway, therefore easy to take transportation (bus 22 to guilin west). Walkable distance to four lakes, elephant hill. The room was very comfortable. Highly recommended

WOW !! We were absolutely blown away by this amazing Hotel. We couldn't believe that everything looks just as good in real life as you see in the photos. We booked the room which we believe looks the best and has the best view (located on the top floor) and were so happy we chose it. Staying here was such an amazing and unique experience that we can't wait to stay here again for our next trip to China. Here are the highlights of our time here: 1) As mentioned before, our suite has 100% the best views of any Hotel in Yangshuo. It really does have a 270 Degree view and you can also see the sky thanks to partial glass roof. 2) The whole area is very peaceful and quiet, perfect for a getaway from the busy life in the city 3) The Hotel's staff are very friendly and helpful, ready to assist you with any request at any hour. One of the best customer service experiences we ever had! 4) The entire building and our room was very well maintained and clean 5) There is also a lovely swimming pool which we did not have the chance to use but it looks very nice 6) The location is simply perfect for what we wanted. And considering how cheap the taxis are (less than 10 Yuan to get to the city centre) it's well worth staying here. You can also walk for about 20 minutes to get in the city. 7) Although it is not technically a full service hotel, we really appreciated all the services provided, especially the daily housekeeping when they replaced our towels, etc 8) The video projector is a nice touch, and so is the HUGE bathtub which can probably fit 4 adults 9) As Westerners we also really appreciated the electronic / japanese-style toilet with automated flushing and all the functions 10) The air conditioner is surprisingly powerful and can easily keep up with very hot weather even if you open all the curtains Things worth noting: 1) The mattress was a bit firm for us and the pillows a bit too thin for our liking 2) The projector is set up for Chinese users and, unless you cast from your phone or mirror the screen, you won't have much luck 3) The bathtub would have been even better if it were jetted (like a jacuzzi), but this is not really an issue Overall this is certainly one of the best hotels you can choose in Yangshuo and we can 100% recommend staying here.

Had a fantastic stay at Heshe Lakeside Resort! The hospitality was top-notch, especially from one of the female staff members who was very welcoming and fluent in English. She greeted me warmly every time we crossed paths, which made the experience even more pleasant. The food was delicious, and the room was superb—spacious, clean, and comfortable. The environment was truly breathtaking, with stunning views of the lake and surrounding hills. A perfect place to relax and unwind. Highly recommended!

The room was great. Japanese style toilet with bidet, a balcony you can sit on, a massive television too. The beds were super comfortable. The breakfast was a simple buffet with a noodle station that made fresh guilin rice noodles and wonton. There is an outdoor swimming pool but due to coming in Janaury it wasn't open. The hotel is a 20-minute car journey from West Street.

Facilities: The hotel is newly opened, and the facilities are all new Hygiene: The sanitary environment is quite good Environment: I felt quite stunning as soon as I entered the door, and it was almost the same as the pictures in the promotion, without any ”photo deception”. Service: The lady at the front desk was very nice. We arrived late and upgraded our room type. Overall, the stay was quite comfortable and the experience exceeded expectations.

Beautiful guesthouse. We enjoyed our stay there. Nice furnishing, really helpful staff. Love the high quality coffee from the Café downstairs where you get a coffee voucher each day nice.view from the window. Only thing is that the street noises from the road are there - so sleeping with open windows not recommended. To get to downtown you need to take a taxi or wall 15-20min. Restaurants options are just in front of the guesthouse.

My dears, you must come to the Linzhong Yayuan Hotel in Guilin! The location is excellent, right in the core area of ​​Two Rivers and Four Lakes, and only a few minutes' walk to Elephant Trunk Hill. The view outside the room window is super beautiful, the bed is soft and I slept very soundly. The lady at the front desk was warm and thoughtful, and answered all my questions. The hotel is clean and the facilities are new. The price-performance ratio is very high. This stay completely overturned my perception of scenic area hotels. From hardware to service, I can feel the attentiveness. It feels as comfortable as going home. I will definitely choose this place again next time I come to Guilin! ”

Very good value hotel, the location is close to everything in Yangshuo, and there are many bike rentals, supermarkets and restaurants around the area. It’s also right by the river, which is very pretty. There’s also a washing machine

The stay at SYYF was one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. The room is cozy and spacious, with gorgeous floor to ceiling windows with a great view of the mountains. It’s also a hi tech smart room with a voice controlled assistant, Xiaodu, that can control the lights and open/shut the curtains (though it only understands Chinese). There’s also a cute tea set which is great for relaxing by the window. The room is equipped with AC and heat that works great, and the lights can go from bright to a dimmer evening mode, as well as sleep. We also got complimentary sodas, extremely cozy robes and nice house shoes for lounging. The breakfast is served 8-10AM is was definitely one of the best we have experienced in China while traveling. It was robust and offered both regional and western cuisine. There is a lot of ongoing construction on the street that the property is on so be careful. It may be a bit of traffic congestion due to large machines, however the noise was not heard from our room. It might be challenging for Didi drivers to access but there are also e-scooters for rent for about 30 yuan per day. The hotel is surrounded by mountains which are lit up at night for a gorgeous landscape at any time. The welcome photoshoot was fun, with traditional clothes you can borrow. We spent about 30-45 minutes using different props across 3 locations on the property, and got tons of photos that we loved. The staff is so accommodating and responsive and they helped with every little question. The bring lots of thoughtful small pleasantries which added a special touch and made us feel very cherished. They also offered a free shuttle for our departure ride to the train station at the end of our stay. We came in early January and the weather was chilly at night and pleasant during the day. With a jacket it’s not too bad and on a sunny day it’s pleasant with a cool breeze. We had a massage too, which you can order to your room or go to the spa which is close, and they provide shuttle service. The massage was good but a bit pricey even with the 50% off. There are less expensive places in the town not too far away. West street is a popular tourist spot which is also close, about 15-20 minutes away by e-scooter. There’s plenty of shopping, restaurants and a little night life, but we didn’t go out during this trip. 10/10 experience and I would definitely recommend staying here! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I come back to Yangshuo, and this place makes you REALLY want to come back!

We slept one night during our stay in Xingping. The location is perfect, just next to the main street, 1 min walk to the ferry which takes you to the other side where you'll find buggies that take you to the top of the Xianggongshan mountain and 15 min walk to the bamboo rafts where the true landscape of the 20 CNY bill lies. The hotel workers don't speak English but do all the efforts to help you out by using the translator. The boss/manager however, speaks perfectly English. If you have WeChat you'll be added to a chat where you can talk to her and ask anything you want. She will also help you with any ticket booking that you need. In a matter of minutes they organized tickets for both the bamboo raft (which in Yangshuo was almost impossible to get if you didn't queue up at 6 am...) and helicopter (highly recommended!). So we were truly impressed by how they helped us out, since we had the idea of what to do but clearly needed this efficiency and local contacts to do it smoothly. The room was very spacious and all amenities needed (they didn't have an iron in the room but it took 2 minutes for them to bring it to our room when we asked :) ). We had a great view on the 4th floor (also very recommendable as the street is very close and the high floor might add some extra privacy. The rooms clearly state the floor when you book them, so take the advantage!). There is some room for improvement in the lobby but we passed on our feedback and they seemed very eager to improve, so we truly believe it can only get better. We weren't told the breakfast options nor saw any facilities to serve it but as an exception we bought some stuff at the mini market right next to the hotel entrance which was very convenient. The check-out was relatively flexible and we were given an extra hour which was a blessing for us after a sweaty hike on the Xianggongshan mountain. All in all we were very happy with our stay!

Staff was extremely nice and helpful, even helped us reserve e-scooters. The hotel is built right on top of a great and popular restaurant. Rooms are really nice. Location is great, only a three minute walk from the wharf (which was great because we had a lot of luggage) and also a three minute walk from West Street which is a lively pedestrian street with a great night market, and basically the heart of Yangshuo.

Facilities: Everything you need, high-speed hair dryer, electric toilet, smart home Hygiene: Very clean and spotless, food hygiene Environment: Pleasant and quiet environment, high privacy, built on the mountain Service: Excellent service, whether it is the front desk girl, the door security, or the restaurant and the cleaning lady, they are all very patient and amiable As a Ctrip Diamond member who often travels around the world, I sincerely tell you: ”Yangshuo Ubud Villa” will definitely come next time, give it a thumbs up 👍It is absolutely worth it and satisfactory to stay!

Hostel l’s location is perfect. The terrace is very quiet and nice. The owner spoke very good English which was super helpful to get tips about some hikes around Xingping. Without her help we could have never found the way! She also helped us getting the transportation and tickets to see the sunrise.

Pros: - good location in the heart of the xinping tourist street amidst preserved shophouses etc. - quiet and peaceful, well managed by the team - nice amenities and toiletries provided - room is clean tidy and well designed - water pressure of shower was amazing - cute dog and cats on site. Friendly and don’t make a commotion. - lady boss is helpful and ready with advice etc Cons: - view wasn’t greater & not like the pictures online.There was a giant white rectangle block of hotel(?) in the middle of our window view. - wifi is non-existent at our top floor room - breakfast was western style with congee. While not bad tasting, was average and frankly disappointing. Chinese breakfast would have been nice.

Advice to foreign travellers: contact the hotel if you’re ever lost! They are more than happy to help. We didnt learn that until we realized we were on the wrong bus and took a longer route which made our travel to Longji a bit more stressful than needed. Once arrived, the rooms are very clean, the view is beautiful and locals are very nice. Just remember to not be shy! The food served at the restaurant was delicious and the area was nicely located. The view was so good we didn’t feel like we needed to leave the area at all during our stay. 10/10 would recommend to a friend or return! Thanks again

Perfect. New hotel, stylish way beyond expected. Lovely people who own/run the hotel, perfect hosts, they just seem to know what you want, when you need it. Coffee at breakfast is perfect as is the breakfast. Food is what you would expect in a high class restaurant. The Bamboo Chicken is highly recommended (and the Bamboo rice). Please give notice in the afternoon as BB chicken takes some time to prepare. Everything here is just perfect. Views, rooms, beds, pillow, linen are extremely comfortable, hard to get out of bed, and the VIEWS.. WOW. Can't wait to get back to view a different season. Thank all for our wonderful stay. OH and the home made Mijou/Bijou.. We were there in the preparation season, only some paddies with water but it was great to view all the hard work and preparation as well as the views. Back again soon to see next step.

The hotel environment is good, the room is large and there is a terrace with a view. The owner is hospitable and the food is delicious! The hotel also provides local characteristic clothing, beautiful photos, and it is easy to walk to various viewing platforms. The mountain is very quiet and comfortable to live in

The guesthouse has a very good price/quality ratio. 1) The hosts are very responsive, hospitable and willing to help. At our request, they booked us seats on the direct bus from Yangshuo to Dazhai, and also met us at Dazhai bus station and took us to the hotel by car. 2) The guesthouse is very atmospheric: wooden, with simple furnishings - you feel like you are in nature. Since the weather was rainy, we used the umbrellas provided by the guesthouse. 3) The room is simple, but it has everything you need, we did not need anything. The most important thing in the room is the balcony with a beautiful view of the rice terraces. 4) The location of the guesthouse is convenient - not far from Dazhai bus station, and from the observation decks. 5) We also had a delicious dinner at the guesthouse. We really enjoyed our stay at this guesthouse.

I am so happy to travel to Guilin! I happened to come to Midu and I was not disappointed! Facilities: The view in the room is super beautiful, the panoramic room is great for taking pictures, all the necessary facilities are available, and they are all automated! If you want to go to Longji Rice Terraces, the boss can pick you up and drop off for free, which is really great! You can also experience taking photos in Yao costumes in the terraced fields: the Amo people are also super nice!
