While the property itself is a little dated, it honestly fades into the background because the staff service is exceptional. From check-in to departure, everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the entire stay feel effortless. The complimentary airport shuttle runs every 15 minutes and was perfectly on time, making transfers to and from OR Tambo stress-free. And the breakfast — wow. Easily one of the highlights of the stay. A generous spread, well prepared, fresh, and honestly to die for. Overall, a really solid, comfortable hotel that delivers where it matters most: service, convenience, and food. Will be back again.

This is a nice modern hotel near the airport. Free shuttle buses to the airport are available each half an hour. Great food, friendly stuff. It is the best option to stay overnight in case of connecting flights. Good value for money.

I was in Pretoria for a business trip and this was my first time staying at this hotel. It's next to a large sports stadium, and there happened to be a game on the day I checked in, so it was very crowded. The hotel reception even warned me to be careful with my phone outside in the crowd. The room was standard for a business hotel—nothing special. The only drawbacks were the noisy air conditioning and the lack of a gym. However, there are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient.

This is definitely the best choice for a transit stay at Johannesburg Airport. It's less than a 10-minute walk from the terminal, located right on top of the parking garage, so you don't even have to go outside, which feels very safe.

The Mint Hotel 84 gets the basics right with clean, comfortable rooms and friendly service staff. My room was a standard double with a queen bed, it had everything I needed including a desk, coffee maker, and good water pressure in the shower. The bed was fairly comfortable and the room was cleaned promptly every day. The breakfast spread in the dining area had a variety of options including cereals, toast, fruit, pastries, and eggs. The food was of average quality and freshness, nothing exceptional but sufficient to start the day. The service staff at the front desk and concierge were pleasant, helpful, and efficient whenever I had questions. They provided recommendations for restaurants and attractions in the area. The hotel has an outdoor pool and fitness centre, although I did not use the fitness centre during my stay. The hallways and public areas were well maintained and clean. Overall, the Mint Hotel 84 provides good, no-frills accommodations in a convenient location for exploring Katherine. The price point is fair for the quality you get, making it a solid choice for standard business or leisure travel.

VVeleI had the best time just relaxing at the hotel . The staff were very friendly and because it was my birthday they upgraded my room and gave me free breakfast . I had an amazing time and I can’t wait to go back . Room services was also really great and the views were amazing .

But it was clean and convenient enough to stay. The facilities such as 24 hours of gym, not mandatory to wear swim suit in a pool plus hot zacuzzi were great.

Near Airport. Goto Bus Terminal to board the free shuttle from airport to hotel. Was served welcome drinks and luggage storage upon arrival. The hotel rooms are refreshed, newly painted. Comfortable beddings. We took the paid shuttle to and fro to the nearby mall while waiting to check in. Timing was great.

GGuest UserThe Courtyard Hotel was a great place to stay during our time in Johannesburg. We booked the suite for 4 people and there was plenty of space for all of us to keep our stuff and even a small kitchenette. There was round the clock security and a gate which made us feel safe and secure. In addition the staff was very helpful and attentive.

One of the highlights is still the complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport, which runs every 15 minutes and is very punctual. It made our travel to the airport hassle-free. Excellent stay at the Southern Sun in Rosebank. From the reception to the check-in, to the installation in the room, everything went very well. The staff (maintenance, bar, restaurant, reception and security) all worked with a smile. The room was very well equipped and clean. The breakfast was plentiful and very varied. The restaurant had excellent food and very good wine. A special thought to the staff who opened the gate at the back of the hotel every day for us, making it easier for us to leave for the Rosebank lung. The swimming pool, although cool, was always welcome at the end of the day. Even if some minor work was underway in the hotel, we were never inconvenienced. We will definitely be back. A big congratulations to the hotel and all its staff. We will definitely be back.
