Davinci Hotel on Nelson Mandela Square

Friends booked five rooms together, but one trash can was not emptied. The exterior windows of the two stores were being repaired from 2 to 5 p.m., and workers kept kicking and kicking the windows, making clinking sounds. I complained to the front desk manager, but there was no formal reply. In fact, repairs to individual rooms can be completely avoided. After traveling continuously for several days, it is impossible to take a high-quality nap.
Road Lodge Carnival City
3.9/544 Reviews
Here is a draft hotel review for Road Lodge Carnival City Hotel based on the details you provided: Road Lodge Carnival City Hotel Review Location: Conveniently located near Carnival City entertainment complex in Johannesburg, South Africa. Room: The rooms at Road Lodge Carnival City are on the smaller side, but well-laid out to accommodate a family of 3 comfortably. Despite the compact space, everything you need is right at hand. The beds were clean and comfortable. Cleanliness: This property gets a 5-star rating for cleanliness. The hotel staff clearly takes pride in keeping all public areas and rooms spotlessly clean. Our room was thoroughly cleaned each day with fresh towels provided. Amenities: In-room amenities were basic but sufficient. Free wifi access allowed us to stay connected. The daily refreshment of ice from the vending machine in the hallway was a nice touch. Breakfast: While we did not partake in any meals here, breakfast is buffet and by the standard of most hotels, was ample and well-prepared. Service: Front desk and housekeeping staff were polite, helpful and attentive to any needs during our stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Value: For the affordable room rate at Road Lodge Carnival City, we felt it offered excellent value. The proximity to entertainment and clean, comfortable accommodations made it a hassle-free base despite the modest size. Overall: While the rooms are on the small side, this hotel gets high marks for cleanliness, location and service. It provides clean, comfortable lodging for an affordable rate that is perfect for a family trip to Carnival City. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was Good. Pick up from the airport in a free shuttle every 30 minutes. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room small but neat, Good for just 1 night. For longer I would have choosen a larger room with a fridge. Nice facilities on the premises for eating out and shopping. Interesting exhibition on the history of democracy in SA.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by its excellent location, top-notch service, and overall hospitality. The hotel's location was simply outstanding. It was conveniently situated, allowing easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. Whether it was exploring the city or embarking on a safari adventure, the hotel's central location made it a perfect base for my travels. The service provided by the hotel staff was truly exceptional. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive assistance throughout my stay, I felt genuinely cared for. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met, including a special favor of allowing me to leave my suitcase while I was away on the safari. Their flexibility and accommodating nature were greatly appreciated. The hotel itself was a sight to behold. It exuded elegance and charm, with its beautifully designed interiors and well-maintained facilities. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the tastefully decorated rooms to the inviting common areas. It was a pleasure to return to such a comfortable and inviting space after a long day of exploring. Overall Rating: ★★★★★
Holiday Inn Johannesburg Airport

Firstly, I was put into a room that I did not book and was told I cannot change to a room that I had paid for because the hotel was overbooked. The front desk, eventually, moved me once I had pointed out that it was a health hazard to stay in the room they assigned to me because they had painted it that very day and I could still smell the paint fumes. After being moved, I was put into a room that I actually paid for. The toilet leaked and the shower was blocked. I will say though that the front desk was very friendly and tried to help as much as they could. All in all, it was not a good experience and I won't be staying again.
MINT Apartments Greenside

Well, from what I booked, it was supposed to be a 2-bedroom apartment. However, I was given a 1bed (Room.303), and when I went down to enquire, the reception lady wasn't helpful and blamed it on the app. Then I had to ask for a wifi password, which I would have assumed you would be given at reception. I ordered something, and when I went down to get it, the same reception lady gave me a bit of attitude when asking her how to open the main door so I could collect. Now I'm not normally one to complain, but I guess she didn't realise she was dealing with a person who has worked over 15 years in reservations, and I am very much aware of how OTAs work. I am still very upset about the wrong room choice I was given and made to feel like I'm the one who made an error. Then there was NO iron and hairdryer in the room. Apparently, they don't have any available from what I gathered from the housekeeping lady. Besides that, the housekeeping lady was exceptional, and the apartment was very clean upon check-in. Hopefullysomeone from the place will address these issues.
Premier Hotel Quatermain
4/541 Reviews
I have stayed at the Quatermain before, and I am happy to say that the whole experience was once again just lovely! I had arrived VERY early on my check-in day and the staff made sure that I had a room well before the scheduled check-in time AND they upgraded me too! The staff at the hotel are friendly, helpful and all round just a delight!! Even with the ongoing challenges that loadshedding (scheduled power outtages) brings to the smooth operation of any business. The gardens are immaculate and tranquil, and it is unbelievable to think you are in the middle of everything with the peace and quiet that pervades. The little bistro / restaurant's menu is thankfully limited, as it means that the quality can be assured and anything that is made tastes deliciously homemade. The evening buffet is very good value for money! Just a small note that due to loadshedding, sometimes the email/booking system gives some issues - so don't forget to just follow up once booked :)
The Parktonian All Suite Hotel

Downtown Johannesburg
We had a problem with the safe and they moved us immediately. The rooms are very large and comfortable. All the staff are very friendly and willing to help you with anything. They recommended a tourist tour and it was very good. The restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. They have shuttle service and they can take you anywhere for a reasonable price as well.
Palazzo Hotel

The environment is very good, the decoration is actually okay, but after all, it can still be seen after a long time, and the health status is okay, that is, a pillow on the sofa is broken, and the pillows in the room for the 21st night after tax increase have to be used well Right. The service was very good. No matter whether the deposit was discussed during the check-in of the previous generation or later led to the room, it was very gentle and polite. Many people praised the delicious breakfast.
