We booked this hotel for a one night staycation with our friends. While we were there, we saw 2 weddings and a Company having their annual dinner. The enviroment is clean, secure and very refreshing , surrounded by many trees. We had super nice rooms and since it was our anniversary, The Chateau decorated our bed with a pair of towel swans , very beautifully folded. The rooms are big and very comfortable. Service at the hotel was excellent everywhere we went. They even have free yoga sessions where we all participated and had a good time stretching and laughing at ourselves. Food at the Restaurant, next to the pool was nice with hearty portions. Overall, the stay was wonderful. We will definitely return for another stay, perhaps longer. Just be sure to keep your windows and doors closed at all times as some friendly monkeys are roaming about.
We booked a family room and the staff free upgraded to 3 bedroom with high floor which we are very happy about it.
The room is very spacious and comfortable, the cleaner did well daily.
The hotel also provides free parking during stay period, but need to inform the counter staff every time before leaving the car park which is not so convenient.
The only problem is the strong smells from the master bedroom toilet.
The facilities here for me like very basic such as gym. The buffet was good with multiple choices of cuisine. The staff was friendly and willing to assist the customer like i was having problem with my access card while trying to access the level 40 for swimming pool area. The view from wing D was so nice n i can see top of genting from my room at level 15. Definitely will repeat this hotel for staycation next time.
To sum it up. Truly worth the time we took to drive up from Singapore. This is a service apt concept and the condo is literally brand new. Some other constructions are still on going but doesn't really impact the stay. The essential shops are there like the restaurants and Bilabila mart.
Unit is clean and comes with awesome sky view and firm beds which we liked. Peaceful quiet mostly except when the roaring bike or cars go up to Genting.
Abt 15mins to walk to Genting and 20mins to Temple ( both using the Antara link bridge)
Travelling with elderly and kiddos might rethink about this thou. Parking is ringgit 10/night
Overall a very pleasant stay and likely to return again for the good service and superb view
Keep it up and maintain the unit well guys 👍🏻
Room is big but is not well maintained.. Quite a lot of plug are not functioning. Air-corn’s compressor sound very loud. Hope this problem can be fix then will be perfect. Staffs are polite and helpful. Breakfast are good too. We like the environment there. Very relaxing.
The apartment is okay. Everything is decent and acceptable with the price offered. However they are few issues i want to point out: 1) Netflix cannot be watched. It was a false claim when they put it in the information just to attract guest but cannot be used.
2) Window blind: i want to complain about the window blind used in the kitchen window and the 2nd bedroom window. The blind is not FULL BLACKOUT blind.. It's still see through even the blind was pulled to cover the window completely. As a muslim family, this is not acceptable. And it affect the privacy of the guest as well. I hope they will change the blind to the Full Blackout type.
3) The Washing machine NOT washing & Dry machine. The washing machine only can be used to wash clothes. Not for dry. The dry function was not working.
I will consider to come again in the future if the issue is resolved properly

If this hotel were a car, it would be a flashy Italian model with serious build quality issues.
The best thing about this hotel is the price. RM200 for a king bed on a public holiday felt like a steal. Driving in from SkyAvenue, the road was dark, but the brightly lit parking area gave us high hopes.
Check-in via the self-service kiosk was smooth, though finding our room was confusing due to the odd 5-digit numbering. Thankfully, the concierge guided us.
First impression of the room: it matched the promo photos. But our excitement ended quickly. The door wouldn’t lock properly and kept beeping. A technician came, hammered the strike plate, and fixed it—hardly reassuring for security.
Next came the bathroom. Many reviews mentioned a bad construction smell, and they were right. The shower drained poorly, leaving a strong concrete odor as water pooled.
The kitchen looked impressive with plenty of cabinets, but surprisingly had no power sockets near the counter. I had to boil water at the desk instead.
The TV was another letdown. Supposedly “smart,” it had no internet or channels. I tried everything—resetting, power cycling—but there was no Wi-Fi option at all. So much for Netflix night.
Design-wise, the room looked sleek at first glance, but flaws showed up everywhere: paint splatters in the bathroom, noisy metal racks, and tile flooring that picked up every footprint.
The next morning, the sunrise over Genting Highlands was breathtaking—arguably the highlight of our stay.
Exploring the hotel, we found most shops, including Hard Rock Café and the rooftop, closed with no operating hours posted. Facilities like the gym, indoor pool, and kids’ zone were open but overcrowded due to the holiday. We skipped breakfast as it wasn’t included.
Checkout was quick and smooth.
Looking back, the real problem isn’t management, but poor construction quality that doesn’t reflect in typical rating categories like cleanliness, service, or location. The place looks good on the surface, but corners were clearly cut in development.
I really wanted to love this hotel—the concept, location, and price are great. But unless management addresses these quality issues, the high ratings are misleading.
Thank you for the excellent hostality for Geo Hotel to their Guest Relation Officer Check in Staff Syazwan, their humble head Chef Zack fm Prata section and the Chinese Chef plus another Malay Chef which we forgotten his name , their inhouse breakfast team GM and swrvers Mr Ismeil , and MR Rizal the guy whom helped us to book 2 grab taxi for us on our check out daty on 27/6 and the house keeping teams whom clean room 511. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and the security personnel makes us safe to stay at the hotel on 24/6 to 27/6. The swimming pool was also safe and my kids love it.
Thumbs up pf the excellent service to the us. We will surely come again and stay at the hotel. We will recommend our family and friends to your hotel for the service and near food eateries...thank you and have a blessed July. Your sincerely Mr Fauzy 👏👏👍👍😊
Positive:
- Reasonable price
- Walking distance to nearby eateries and shops
- Small kitchen and fridge for simple cooking
Negatives:
- Long queue at the lift during check out, we took the stairs down from level 20 to level 6
- No kettle and drinking water in the room
- No aircond in the room
- No handheld shower

AAnonymous UserWe had a smooth check-in, arriving an hour earlier than the scheduled time. The receptionist was friendly and have good customer service. We were given a top-floor room that was clean, spacious, and had a decent view. However, the nearby hills were under construction, and the noise did disturb our afternoon rest.
One of the best things about the hotel is its location — it’s within walking distance of the Kea Farmers Market and the sheep sanctuary, and just a 13-minute drive to the BOH Tea Hill restaurant. There are also several food outlets right in front of the hotel, making everything easily accessible.
The one major frustration was the lack of soundproofing in the room. We could clearly hear our neighbors talking, laughing, and making loud noises around midnight. We could even hear people walking in the hallway and entering their rooms. It was difficult to sleep because the noise was just too loud. That is the only negative about it.
RRaja SamidaThank you to the receptionist, Zura. As I am heavily pregnant, (7 month preggy) she kindly upgraded my room from one that required stairs to a pool terrace room with easy access. The room was conveniently close to the pool, which made my child very happy. The place is beautiful, the staff are friendly, and we truly appreciate Zura’s thoughtfulness. Good job! We will definitely return.”
AAlinaTan85Best place to stay while at genting, nice view and convenient shuttle bus service.. and also delicious bfast in the morning.. staff were friendly as well 🥰🫶🏻 will definitely come again
GGoh Meng MengLovely boutique hotel right opposite the golf course, good as we are golfers. Great place to relax and chill. Hotel service is good and porters are helpful. The only setback was the dinner in the restaurant as the food is below standard! The fish meal my friend ordered were smelly and not fresh. My smoked duck was like salty duck! They changed the meals for us. Thanks to that.
IIda ARGreat service and friendly staff. However like many other review mention below, they are very strict regarding total occupants inside the room, my sister in law also said the same. Hence probably next resort board meeting, can consider to terminate / abolish the such rules. The resort must remember tourism in Malaysia are usually family oriented, hence should prioritise family friendly place/hotel/resort. Do not hurt the occupants/ visitors pf the resort’s feeling. Not all are privileged to book luxuries room for their family. Hope cam consider🙏 other resort/ hotel very rare have such rules. But overall okay, abort the rules would really recommend this place to relatives and friends.
GGuest UserLocation : boleh dgr azan (dekat dgn surau), nk klur simpang agak pening sbb bnyk sgt laluan

Parking : agak terhad, sapa cepat dya dapat.. kalau awal dpt park depan lobby, klu lewat kene park belakang.. tp ada je parking basement (bawah)
Makanan : 8.5/10
JJunakarmaReally nice hotel
but please remember to close your curtain, the view to your room from down there or anywhere else could be crystal clear.
But if you’re checking in during holidays or during the season where offshore people going/coming back to/from offshore, the elevator journey could be a hell of a wait.. i once waited nearly half an hour to get from 16th to G floor for check out.. so plan your travel well
Apart from that.. i really had a very nice stay
