I recently stayed at Copthorne Hotel Brinchang in Cameron Highlands and had a pleasant experience overall. The location is excellent—situated at a higher altitude, it offers cool weather and beautiful views of the surrounding hills. It's also close to popular attractions like the night market, tea plantations, and strawberry farms.
The hotel itself has a slightly dated appearance, but the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Buffet breakfast had a decent variety, though not extraordinary. Facilities like the indoor pool and fitness center are a nice touch, especially given the chilly weather.
Overall, it’s a good option for families or couples looking for a convenient and comfortable base to explore Cameron Highlands. With some updates to the interior, it could be even better.
Excellent service and superb facilities made my stay truly enjoyable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The seaview room was clean and comfortable, with modern amenities. Great food, a well-maintained pool, and a convenient location added to the experience. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay!
Great location, right in the middle of all the good food and night life. Can get noisy on the weekend, I stayed on 5th floor it was ok. The window soundproofing is good enough.
Room is clean and spacious, Aircon is a little weak, but it's alright. Toiletries are good and of high quality.
Breakfast is decent, not much spread butI really like the chocolate croissant especially. It has nasi lemak, various bread and croissant, salads, pasta, fruits. Coffee is very good too.
Basement parking is free and spacious, bright and plenty of lots. Safety should not be a concern.
I recommend this hotel and will definitely come back again.
The hotel is perfectly located with stunning views of the mountains and surrounding nature – truly a serene escape. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even more pleasant.
The apartment was very spacious and comfortably accommodated four guests per room. However, there were a few areas that could use improvement. The food options for vegetarians were quite limited, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the bellboy service for luggage had restricted timings, which was inconvenient at times.
There was also an oversight in placing the mandatory toiletries in two of our rooms, something that could easily be addressed with better preparation in the future.
Overall, it's a great place to stay for the views and comfort, with just a few service enhancements needed.
The good: The room was overall clean and the toilet was clean too. The water pressure in the shower is decently strong. Fresh sheets and pillow cases were provided, and the pillows did not stink like in many other hotels. The location is great (an 8-minute slow drive from First World Hotel), the check-in staff was friendly and so nice, and the wi-fi was fast. There's free parking (You will have to take the lift from the parking building to the 7th floor, then walk over to the tower you're living in, then take the lift in that tower to the floor you're staying in). Also, they provide complimentary bedroom slippers, shower gel/shampoo, soap, toothbrush/paste, vanity kit and razor. They have convenience stores and a few restaurants in the complex, so you won't go hungry and you can always buy your necessities just a few steps from your room.
The bad: The toilet door was creaking terribly, waking up your roommates when you go to the toilet in the middle of the night. The floor was very clean but also rather slippery from the floor detergent used. The water leaks out from the shower cubicle when bathing, so put your floor mat further away from the door when bathing so it doesn't get wet (same distance as the toilet bowl). The hot water does not run continuously - if you have a fantastic super hot shower for 15 to 20 minutes, the water will become cool and you'll have to wait another 20 minutes before the hot water tank heats up and you can have another fantastic super hot shower. And the pump that supplies water to the tap in the room sink makes a horribly loud sound whenever you switch it on and off.
Conclusion: I paid less than RM100 to stay in this room so I think it's definitely value for money. Love the location - it's higher than the Genting theme park area, cold and misty. Will come back again next time.
Got a free upgrade and stayed at Ion Majestic, love and wanted to try the heated pool but it was under maintenance so we wouldn't be able to try.
I was a regular at Ion Delemens before I tried to book with Trip.com, so definitely will prefer and choose to stay at Ion Majestic as it has easier access than Ion Delemens.
Killer view but I guess as not a morning person, I wouldn't prefer the bright curtains in the morning😅
Overall, 5 out of 5 still.

Stayed: June 2025 — Family with infant
We loved the setting of the Hyatt Regency Kuantan: the beach-front location is hard to beat and the refurbished room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.
However, there are a few things the hotel could fine-tune:
• Bathroom – Water pressure at the shower head was consistently low, which took the shine off an otherwise great room.
• Breakfast – Wide variety and tasty options, but the semi-open dining area felt stifling even at 8 a.m. A bit more airflow (fans or better ventilation) would make the “open concept” much more enjoyable.
• Family amenities & service – We requested baby essentials a week before arrival and again at check-in. Only a baby-cot eventually appeared after requested twice at the front desk; there was no baby bathtub or bottle sterilizer. Competing properties regularly provide these basics, so expectations are higher for a Hyatt. Staff were polite but the follow-through just wasn’t there. Calling front desk few times but nobody answering the calls though.
Bottom line: Excellent location and comfortable rooms, but the weak shower pressure, hot breakfast area, and gaps in family-friendly service keep the experience from matching other leading hotel groups. Addressing those details would make this property an easy five-star choice.
This hotel is beautiful and very comfortable overall. I was assigned a room with a balcony overlooking the quiet and peaceful hills. However, this hotel does not have a designated parking space as normal, so, guests are free to park in any other parking lot with a maximum fee of RM11 (weekdays; I'm not sure about weekends though). If you decide not to drop off your bags at the lobby first, you will need to be ready for a long trip carrying your luggages from carpark to the hotel (I parked at Resort Hotel carpark as it has a bridge connecting to SkyWorlds Hotel). In addition, I was given a room in Valley Wing, which is the wing across from the lobby building, so the layout of the hotel is a little complicated, particularly from the lobby to the room. From the lobby (Level 1), I must therefore ascend to Level 3 and then cross an ”offset connections” to reach Valley Wing (Level 7). In any case, the personnel is incredibly welcoming and eager to assist visitors, especially when it comes to check-in. This hotel is worth the money because it's quite comfy. Without a doubt, I'll return.
Enjoy with my family during Hari Raya. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a beautiful view of the city. The hotel had decorated the lobby and common areas with beautiful Hari Raya-themed decorations, which created a warm and festive atmosphere. The dining experience was exceptional, with a special Hari Raya buffet offering a range of delicious traditional dishes. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests.

AAlvin-7Genting Geo 38 Apartment offers a comfortable and modern stay with stunning views of the Genting Highlands. The unit is clean, spacious, and well-equipped with essential amenities, including a kitchenette and washing machine. The location is convenient, just a short drive to Genting Premium Outlets and the cable car station. Facilities like the infinity pool, gym, and sauna add value to the experience. Security is tight, and parking is easy. Check-in and communication with the host are smooth. Ideal for families or small groups seeking a relaxing retreat with cooler weather and beautiful scenery. Highly recommended for a short getaway.
SShahirahNurThe experience of staying here was amazing. 4 days and 3 nights were not enough for us. We will definitely come again soon. My kids were very happy with the pool and the beach. This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at

GGuest User**Amazing Stay at CHR**
I had the pleasure of staying at CHR for a weekend getaway, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm and friendly service. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was impressed by the clean, modern lobby.
The room itself was spacious, tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the room was well-equipped with everything I needed, from a smart TV to a well-stocked minibar. I especially loved the beautiful view from the window, which made for a relaxing ambiance every morning.
Overall, I highly recommend CHR for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay. I will definitely be returning the next time I’m in the area!
GGuest UserFrom the 1st day check in, all the staffs are helpful and friendly. The scenery surround the hotel very nice, clean and cozy. The room we checked in quite spacious, cozy and chilly with nice view of mounts greeny and nature. The breakfast buffet are delicious and variety of food and we enjoyed it for the whole 3 days 2 nights. Would recommend and come again for next trip here in Century Pines Hotel.
AAnonymous UserThis hotel is very clean and modern. The room was quiet and my stay was very satisfying. The hotel is located just in front of a mall, 5 minutes walking. Recommended for business travellers.
AAnonymous UserResort has a peaceful vibe, definitely had a good rest. Service was inconsistent, some are happy to help whilst some looked moody. Their spa attendant provided great service.
Some parts could use more maintenance work, as the resort’s age shows. The toilet reeked of pee when we entered the room, i had to clean it myself.

GGuest User4 pax, 2 adults and 2 kids. 5 days/ 4 nights stay.
Location was great as it is the highest hotel in Genting with great views. But that was all that was great.
Price level, it cost 2-4 times more than any hotel in Genting. Thus we were hoping for more besides the view.
Facilities:
Indoor kids pool - closed
Wellness spa - closed
Fitness centre - locked
Kids playground - non existent
Executive lounge - non existent
Theatre room - non existent
Infinity swimming pool - closed
Cigar lounge - non existent
Pool bar - non existent
Game vault - non existent
The hotel is 7 minutes by bus or car to New World hotel, food and shopping malls. The hotel charge MY7 per pax one way, thus 4 of us cost MY28 per trip. No free transport, MY56 for a return for 4pax. MY112 a day if we go for lunch/shopping and another trip out for dinner.
Lunch at Hard Rock was MY390 for burgers and Coke.
Breakfast buffet was mostly carbs, noodles, rice, prata, thosai, porridge, bread… eggs and salad.
Overall … not worth it as it is expensive with no facilities.. not operated as a proper hotel.
Plenty of “sorry, but …. is closed, not available, not open, cannot use, under maintenance…”
My recommendation is to stay New World hotel or Genting hotel for unlimited shopping and access to everything... only go up to visit this slightly higher hotel for a slightly higher view for a few hours.
