I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were warm and welcoming, providing excellent hospitality throughout my visit. The room itself was in premium condition—clean, well-maintained, and tastefully furnished. One of the highlights was the balcony, which offered a stunning view of the Indian Ocean, perfect for relaxing or sunsets. The hotel’s location is also a big plus, with easy access to most of the main attractions in the area. Highly recommended for both comfort and convenience!

Our family of three checked into the hotel during the first week of May 2025. Unfortunately, our overall experience was underwhelming. Room service was disappointing, our order was incorrect, and we chose not to send it back as we assumed it would take a long time to receive the correct one. It also took three separate calls just to receive the room service menu. Additionally, we were charged for ice despite having an active room service food bill, which felt unreasonable. When we inquired about evening entertainment (Friday eve), the front desk assured us a live band would be performing, but this never happened. It appeared the resort seems to operate with minimal staff, which may explain the drop in service quality. On a positive note, we were warmly welcomed by a great host at check-in, and the barman at the pool bar made excellent cocktails and provided friendly service. Hopefully, this could be just a rare slip-up.

First of all, the breakfast was very good. There were all kinds of local food that I have never seen before. Secondly, the male checkin receptionist wearing glasses was very friendly! He tried to introduce many local spots and helped handle the noise issue caused by the people next to my room. However, the female receptionist was not really helpful and quite stubborn. That male staff said I could enjoy an extended checkout due to my midnight flight during checkin, but the female receptionist said no to me later. After I explained what that male staff promised to me, she only gave me a two-hour extended checkout. The point is what all the staff say to guests should be consistent.

Our stay at Granbell Hotel Colombo was nothing short of perfect. From the infinity pool with stunning ocean views to the stylish, modern rooms, everything felt luxurious yet welcoming. Review of Cinnamon Red Hotel, Colombo I stayed at Cinnamon Red Hotel in Colombo from 14th to 18th August, and overall, it was a wonderful experience that combined comfort, convenience, and modern design. Location The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Colombo, making it easy to get around the city. Many attractions, shops, and cultural landmarks are just a short drive away, which made exploring stress-free. Rooms & Comfort The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with a stylish, modern touch. The bed was very comfortable, and the large windows offered an excellent view of the city skyline. It was a relaxing space to return to after a day out. Service The staff were welcoming, efficient, and attentive. From check-in to check-out, everything was handled smoothly, and any requests were quickly taken care of with professionalism. Overall Experience Cinnamon Red is a stylish and modern hotel that offers excellent value. It delivers the quality and comfort of a premium stay while keeping things relaxed and accessible. I would definitely recommend it to both business and leisure travelers looking for a convenient base in Colombo.

Exclent service from the staff. Refurbished and newly renovated room but still have pungent smell of painting but staff very helpful when asked for air freshener. Great stay. Central location

The room was very comfortable. Special mention of a girl on the front desk who was especially helpful. I thought the quoted price of trip to the airport was rather expensive, so I found a cheaper way .

We had a day to kill before our late night flight home, so booked a room and used the hotel facilities. The rooftop pool and jacuzzis are excellent. Decent range of food and drinks you can order up there. Also had a choice of many restaurants on site for our dinner. The room itself was lovely and met our needs in terms of having somewhere to freshen up before the airport. Note that the room has a window but it’s completely frosted, so you get natural light but no visibility. It didn’t bother us but might be an issue if you were staying longer. I don’t like that there’s a huge window between the bedroom and bathroom, esp when staying with a friend.

One unforgettable highlight was the in-room dining experience. I ordered the black pork curry with pol roti — and it was simply divine! Without exaggeration, it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had, full of authentic Sri Lankan flavor and prepared to perfection. Overall, The Kingsbury Colombo exceeded all my expectations. The hotel is super clean, secure, and the staff make a genuine effort to create an exceptional experience for every guest. Whether you’re a local or a foreign traveler, I highly recommend staying here at least once — you’ll truly understand the meaning of top-tier hospitality. Good location near the beach and almost in the center of Colombo, the rooms are a clean but there was a night where was a bad smell coming out of the AC or something, the food is great, the service is also great, In the restaurant I could pay with my chinese card, but in the reception I couldn't, don't know why Thank you Mandarina
