Lovely hotel and delicious food. We loved the location and the pool area and facilities. Only issue we had was the heat. It was particularly mild for November and the staff weren’t able to adjust the temperature. We were given a dusty and broken fan to combat the heat but sadly no one came forward with an apology when we brought it to staff that we had to leave the window open wide all night to try combat the heat. I know it wasn’t the individuals fault but good customer service would apologise to the customer and none of the 4 staff we spoke to about it offered an apology and they seemed disgruntled about it too.

The room was clean and the hotel was big. There was a window facing the monument. I saw there was a swimming pool, but unfortunately it was at the university swimming pool opposite, which was only open until 7pm. It was inconvenient and a bit far to rush there.

The family B&B run by the couple, the homestay in the small village, clean and tidy, the breakfast is also very standard, the hosts and women are warm and professional, the surrounding standard British countryside, suitable for walking, there is an ancient castle ruins for a quarter of an hour. GGuest UserOverall our stay here was fantastic! The apartment size was huge with a balcony and came with an individual sauna, which we have enjoyed very much. The hotel landscape was spectacular and it’s located right opposite of loch Ard, the view was breathtaking. As part of our stay we had complimentary access to the gym/spa facilities, which again we enjoyed a lot. The only downside is the cleanliness of the apartment, some of our pillows had stains on them, one of the bedroom had a very strong mouldy odor, and the furniture is generally quite old - that being said, many of the previous reviews had commented on this already so we were mentally prepared before booking and there were no other nasty surprises.

GGuest UserThere are supermarkets and gas stations nearby, free parking, plenty of parking spaces, very convenient. Stirling Castle is very close, 10 minutes' drive. We arrived at Glasgow Airport early and arrived at the hotel at 11 o'clock, but we were not allowed to check in early, so we had to leave our luggage at the front desk first. We had been on a flight for more than ten hours and wanted to go to the hotel to take a good shower and take a nap before going out to play, but this hotel was unwilling to let us check in early.

LLanThe location is perfect. On the half hillside, the castle is going up. Going down is the place where the commercial street eats. The hotel room is relatively spacious and relatively new. Parking is free. The female front desk on the day of the stay was very friendly and very welcoming. I also said that I saw the Chinese credit card for the first time and felt very good. However, breakfast, originally done very well, half buffet, half-meal, good quality, that is, the price was told at the time of check-in, if you add two people 15 pounds on the spot, I also confirmed it because I felt cheap. As a result, the check-out received 19.8 pounds. The gap is not big, but when the argument is different, the front desk of the next day does not confirm it, and it directly denies it. The perfect experience was deducted from the next day's female front desk.

GGuest UserHotel has free carpark which is convenient. Petrol station and Morrison nearby Staff are friendly, but unfortunately we made the breakfast lady unhappy because stayed for breakfast beyond 9:30am Room is quite small but clean, not enough space to open up our two baggage. Bigger room will be perfect.

GGuest UserThis hotel is in a great location for exploring Stirling by foot, can't beat it! It's a basic hotel but has all you really need, with no frills. Staff were fast and helpful, parking on site. Bathroom could have been cleaner, shower pressure isn't great. But rooms were quiet, bed comfortable.
