"Hello. Me and my partner checked in on 18 of February in the hotel. Let me start with the good things. Breakfast is good. Quality of the products is good, but lack of cheese. Would be nice having at least one type. Stuff is friendly. Especially the one on the swimming pool Cons Lack of hot water. Enough for quick shower for one person.. We started to call them to fix the problem.. Could not even react to the reception!! Nobody was picking the phone before 21.00. Next day we should remind them again to check inside the room, not only outside. Unfortunately.. Problem was not fixed.. And we should be mega fast taking shower or wait long time.. Imagine if this is family of 4. First day bedsheet was dirty. Overall hotel is nice but hope they can pay more attention on managing it better. Also not so important, but I guess because of the wet weather. See the pics belpw"

"We absolutely loved the Araliya Hotel. It's a great hotel with a fantastic beach, sand, and sea. They have excellent sun loungers exclusively for guests, and the beachfront area is guarded, so you don't have to worry about outsiders taking them. The beach bar/restaurant is superb, with excellent service. They always have cold beer, delicious cocktails, fresh fruit, and fish. Every day, they'd bring out freshly caught tuna and announce it to the whole beach, which was quite a highlight. The sandy beach is gently sloping, the sea is warm, and the water is clear. You'll see a lot of families and children on the beach. It's definitely a family-friendly hotel, with about 80% Russian guests. The staff doesn't speak Russian (except for one person), but that's not an issue with the restaurants around the hotel, where many people, including taxi drivers, understand Russian. We really enjoyed everything. It has all you need for a relaxing vacation. The rooms are spacious and clean, and all have sea views. The bathroom is also quite large. Nearby, there's a street with restaurants and shops offering good prices. You'll find currency exchange offices everywhere; the rates are a bit lower than at the airport, but not by much. We truly loved our stay and will definitely be back, maybe with our kids next time. P.S. I'd like to give a special shout-out to Naveen, one of the restaurant staff members. He's a very pleasant, smiling, and responsive guy who went out of his way to make every guest comfortable. We were very impressed with his service."

"Beautiful boutique hotel with blue and white theme in its accessories which was what captivated my interest into booking one. The room was huge but only a small tv. AC was noisy through the night with a tick tick sound which was annoying. Thus was reported to the staff in the morning. Breakfast choice had to be selected the day before. The eggs Benedict could have been better. However, the fruit juice, tea and basket of breads and pastries was a nice touch. Staff were so helpful and polite."

"What a great hotel! Probably the most comfortable room in our two weeks in Sri Lanka. Very nice bed, good sheets and blanket, AC worked well, and the big bonus - a separate shower from the toilet with properly hot water. The property itself is also gorgeous. The room is small but has everything you need. Also, ours faced off the street so it was very quiet (save for some peacocks at night 😅). If I had to suggest an improvement, it'd be the breakfast. It was delicious (western) and plentiful but everything was coming out one thing at a time. So it would definitely be good to improve on efficiency. That said, great coffee - also not served everywhere."

"Jetwing Lighthouse, part of the Heritage Hotels collection, was designed by the late, renowned Sri Lankan architect and 'father of Asian architecture,' Geoffrey Bawa. The anti-colonial sculpture in the atrium is quite striking. This time, I stayed in the hotel's largest 114-square-meter themed suite, which features several styles including Chinese, European, Arabian, and Ceylonese. The breakfast staff seemed a bit slow to respond, a stark contrast to the excellent dinner service we received the night before at the Western restaurant. While there appeared to be a large selection for breakfast, nothing was particularly delicious. It's very close to Galle Fort, and for the same price, staying in a suite here offers a much better experience than an entry-level room at the Amangalla within the fort."

"I have to say, Le Grand Galle was one of the two most satisfying hotels out of the eight we stayed at during our family trip to Sri Lanka. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Galle Fort. It's about a 15-minute walk to Galle Fort, though you do pass the somewhat noisy Galle train and bus stations. It would be great if there was a direct path from the hotel's back entrance to the fort (there seemed to be a gate that was always closed, probably for security reasons). Every day, we'd look at Galle Fort from our room's balcony; both the daytime and nighttime views of the fort are spectacular and beautiful. The hotel's designer is truly brilliant, organically blending elements like parasols, loungers, a bar, pool, lawn, rocks, coconut trees, the ocean, the sky, and the ancient fort to create an unforgettable scene. A special tip: the hotel itself is an excellent spot for watching the sunset, even better than watching it from within the fort in my opinion (it adds elements like rocks and coconut trees). Don't miss it if you get the chance. The main drawbacks were that the air conditioning in the room was incredibly loud, so much so that we had to turn it off at night to sleep. Also, the multi-function massage bathtub in the room was broken, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the hotel's breakfast selection wasn't extensive, and the taste was just average. However, these minor flaws don't detract from the overall experience; Le Grand Galle is indeed a great choice."

"This is a fantastic resort-style hotel. If you love nature, I highly recommend it! You can snorkel right off the beach and see small sharks, sea turtles, and plenty of fish. I was very satisfied with everything, especially the stunning sunsets from our room's balcony. The dining options are all international. There are about four restaurants: a buffet, a poolside bar, an Italian restaurant, and another bar. The breakfast buffet offers a wide and delicious variety of international dishes. The cleanliness is excellent, and the service is incredibly thoughtful. The front desk staff even remembered our names! After staying for three nights, they still recognized us at check-out. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be back!"

"Oh ... This hotel just fell in love with itself!!! Photos I do not apply because they are real in the hotel profile. Here is everything! We were in the 4 suite for the 3rd floor and it is really the best hotel in Sri. Very atmospheric and thoughtful, the eyes are joyful for every trivial. Service: Settled early and fast, cleaned in room 2 times a day!!!!!! , the pool is clean, the food in the restaurant is delicious , but expensive. The ocean is not calm here, but if you are on a car or on a bike, 10 or 20 minutes in different directions and either Unavatuna or Veligma or Mirissa ( tuck will also deliver ). Restaurants are also in step-by-step availability. I'm the second time in Sri and there's something to compare with, so I highly recommend. The hotel is worth its money, not ordinary network and not killed local. We'll be back here 100% Aaaaa and on the 3rd floor a charming patio with lying, just huge,this bonus is just a gun"
