Hotels With Gym in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan

This is a 4-star hotel, very close to Kyoto Station, and they offer a free shuttle bus to and from the station. The shuttle picks up on the left side when you exit the *Karasuma Central Exit* (条口) of Kyoto Station. There isn't much to explore around the hotel itself, and very few restaurants. If you plan on taking the train or eating out, it's best to head to Kyoto Station. Kyoto Station is large and beautiful, a tourist attraction in itself, and even has a big Isetan department store! The breakfast restaurant on the 14th floor is a revolving restaurant with panoramic views of Kyoto. However, the Western set breakfast is quite mediocre. The breakfast restaurant on the first floor offers both Japanese and Western options, but the value for money isn't great. In terms of transportation, besides taking the train from Kyoto Station, you can also catch a bus nearby. It's a bit far from the livelier areas of Sanjo and Shijo, making it suitable for guests who prefer a quiet stay and want to be close to Kyoto Station.

The location is quiet, the hotel environment is excellent, and the service is very professional. The rooms are spacious with great views, and opening the window lets in fresh air. The welcome gift was a pleasant surprise. The only downside was the high price due to the holiday season.

Great hotel with relaxing onsen facilities, perfect after a long day of exploring. Complimentary coffee and free laundry are thoughtful perks that make the stay very convenient. The room is also very spacious, which adds to the overall comfort. Location is excellent — just a short distance from Kyoto Station, making it easy to get around. Overall, a comfortable and value-for-money stay.

Extremely convenient location, just south of Kyoto Station. Plenty of restaurants and shopping centers nearby. The lobby bar on the hotel's ground floor is even cozier than a cafe; I stayed for five days and started every day of my trip with a coffee there. The hotel's facilities and service are impeccable. This will be my top choice for my next trip to Kyoto.

Found some hair under the bed that wasn't vacuumed before checking in, didn't fully take all our rubbish. Decent place to stay at location wise but very small space for a family (especially in the ”king deluxe room”). Only had 2 towels too despite there being 4 of us.

The location is spot on. It's incredibly handy for getting around, with everything right on your doorstep. You've got loads of shops and places to explore nearby, so you're never short of things to do😊 Brilliant ! housekeeping did a cracking job. It’s a proper eco-friendly spot, they give you a reusable water bottle to use during your stay, which is dead handy for carrying around while you're out and about. Just a heads-up, though you can't just take them home, but if you're a fan, you can buy one at reception

This hotel has a public bath, which is great for relaxing. It's also conveniently located near bus stops that take you to popular attractions. There are plenty of food options nearby, and a subway station is close by, making it easy to get to Osaka.

This hotel is super close to Kyoto Station, which makes getting around a breeze. Plus, there's a 7-Eleven right downstairs. For Japan, the room is quite spacious – we could easily open up two 24-inch suitcases. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom are a huge plus. Overall, it was a great stay and definitely good value for money. The only downside is that because it's so close to the station, the soundproofing isn't amazing, and you can hear train noise in the mornings.

I stayed at MIMARU Kyoto Kawaramachi Gojo with my friends and family (6 people total), and it was a great choice for a group stay. The hotel is conveniently located near several public transportation options, though you may need to walk a little, which wasn’t a problem for us. There are grocery stores nearby, and it’s close to Gion and many famous tourist spots. The room was spacious, very clean, and well-equipped with plenty of facilities. We were even able to fully open our 29-inch suitcases for everyone at the same time, and there was still plenty of space to move around. It offers excellent value for money, especially for larger groups. I would definitely choose the MIMARU brand again for my next trip!

The service attitude at the hotel was somewhat poor, and the check-in time was not very accommodating. Even when I arrived about 30 minutes early, I was told that no rooms were available, although the hotel did not appear to be fully occupied. Housekeeping did not change the bed sheets during my stay, which was disappointing. On the positive side, the hotel is conveniently located near the train station, making transportation easy.
