The hotel is relatively simple, and the heating and air conditioning was broken on the day we went! But the attitude of the waiter is still very good!

Very conveniently located, spacious car park but standard breakfast, a definite choice for transit travellers. Stayed here with for one night, hotel is clean and room was spacious with styled furniture. Breakfast lacked a bit variety. Beds were hard. There were some events there at the same time we were checking out so it was a bit busy in the reception area.

First time using Holiday Inn Good things are Spacious room with great standard Comfortable and clean bed & pillows , and towels ( a big and a small for one person each ) Has kettle and tea/ coffee with treats ( biscuits) Has a hair dryer and an iron with an iron board inside the wardrobe. It has a round table and a sofa chair on top of a worktop table and chair . It has a small gym , a swimming pool and jacuzzi . Can include breakfast and dinner ( has restaurant) and can order to the room ( room service) I only brought bed and breakfast and breakfast is great choices and plenty. Even for gluten free options! Bad things Hotel lift has broken and put me on 3rd floor but I can request the staff to give me on the ground floor ( said last room / no other choice) twin room . It is better to write the request that in the event of lifts are not working to give ground floor or lower floor. Kettle has no sieve ( may be broken before me. ) The sofa chair has a stain before me . Overall very good service and great room and has good facilities.

So we stayed in the Holiday Inn Preston for 1 night so my review can only really be brief as we didn’t stay for long - but I will say what I found. The rooms were pretty nice with enough space and had tea and coffee and a tv- all expected so nothing special and beds were very comfy. The location was good as it was 15 munutes walk from the train station. Room service was available till 11pm which was great but we didn’t try anything. We ordered breakfast for an extra £20 and it was decent but nothing special- and I’ve had much better as the bacon wasn’t the best. However it did the job and had lots to offer so that was good and not gonna complain. This was double the cost of most nearby hotels so we expected a little more really , but all in all a decent stay and it was fine. Would come again

Perfect location for my needs , really polite friendly staff , nice warm room , really happy with my choice will definitely return when I have to visit this area again

We had a wonderful 4 nights at Thurnham Hall. The person who checked us in on the Sunday was very pleasant and welcoming. We walked the grounds and they were lovely and very well looked after.The Spa and pool were excellent. Thank you for providing such a lovely hotel for us to stay at and spend time visiting with our Lancashire relatives.

Hotel was spectacular, bed was really comfy. The customer service was outstanding i woukd recommended to anyone and i would definitely stay again

We stayed over for a night - late check in and out. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. We have 2 children, a 4 years old and a 5 months old. We arrived quite late and so were the last table in the restaurant for dinner as well as the last to join the breakfast. However, the staff made sure we have all we needed and tried their best to help us. Impressive service and a pleasant stay. We will definitely come back to this hotel in the next visit to Lancaster.

Loved this hotel Clean comfortable very friendly staff The room was a small comfort but had everything you needed in it ,desk,ironing board ,bath ,toiletries and very tastefully decorated Beautiful dining room and bar Excellent cooked breakfast Will return
