Travelodge Alicante Puerto

The location is great - easy to get to the airport , to the centre and the port. Whichever way you are getting into Alicante it would be convenient. The check-in is easy and smooth, late checkout is good value at €10. The things I would improve is allowing single item purchases at breakfast time ( as it is they only let you have the breakfast buffet for €10 or nothing, but you can't have a croissant or a muffin on its own with your coffee. 🥴 . Also , on the facilities front I do miss a power outlet in the bathroom - it's a commonplace thing in continental Europe but never to be seen in U.K. and Ireland. For some strange reason it's missing here.

The breakfast is generous, and the room is large and can accommodate an extra bed. The location is convenient, there is an Auchan supermarket in the big commercial center within a five-minute walk. Ten minutes drive from the airport, the hotel staff is not good at English but enthusiastic ❤️
Cosy Rooms Bolsería

The hotel Cosy Rooms Bolseria is hidden in a one way alley in a central location in Valencia. If you don’t pay attention you may actually miss it. The reception is very welcoming, with vintage furniture and wooden beams showcasing a traditional style of old buildings in Valencia. Room is small but clean, with red brick wall and a simple toilet but fully equipped: clean towels, shampoo, body gel, body lotion, hair dryer, etcetera. The highlight is definitely the jacuzzi at the rooftop. When we arrived, we were a bit disappointed at first, since it was covered, however we kindly asked the staff who helped us to remove the protective cover and to turn the jacuzzi on. We enjoyed it alone overlooking the Valencia rooftops. Not the best view over the city skyline, but good enough to relax. The water in the jacuzzi was not warm, however given the summer heat it was good enough. Don’t expect any service at the rooftop though, so bring your own towels (or from the room) and drinks if you want to enjoy your time there.

The hotel has defects that can be corrected (unfitting window handles, chipped shower tray...) but it is very clean, the rooms are spacious and the breakfast varied.

We took the bus to the hotel, which was quite convenient. There was a supermarket next to it which was also convenient for shopping, and there were restaurants all the way to the subway line 7. The hotel is not big, and the front desk service is friendly. I checked in directly after arriving early, so there should be available rooms. I met a total of 3 waiters and they communicated in English very smoothly. The room is clean and tidy, the bed is very comfortable and big, the pillows are uncomfortable 😔, and the air conditioner is very noisy when it starts up for a while. The TV was placed very high up, very close to the bed, and it was very uncomfortable to look up at it. The bathroom is also very spacious, even the shower head and toilet flushing are not too big. The hotel has a swimming pool. You can get towels at the front desk. You need a shower cap. The water is very cold. Two waves of foreigners ran away from the cold, haha. It is very clean and there is a sauna room (you need to make a reservation at the front desk before using it, it should be preheated). I bought a drink at the front desk for 2 euros a can, which is not too expensive in comparison. The refrigerator in the room is usable, but there is only one bottle of mineral water.

The hotel is located in the new district, some distance from the old town. There is a bus next to the hotel that goes directly to the old town. It takes about 15-20 minutes and costs about 1-2 euros. You can buy tickets on the bus. The ride is circular, so the return trip is not in the same place. Get off at the stop and go on another street behind. Pay attention to check or ask.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the commercial street and shopping malls. There are also Japanese restaurants, hamburger restaurants and pizza restaurants opposite, but the hamburger restaurant is very average and we didn't think it was delicious. The Japanese restaurant is still delicious. The hotel's breakfast is also relatively rich. There is a supermarket about three or four minutes away, which is convenient for replenishing water, drinks and snacks. The room is relatively spacious, with a typical Mediterranean style, but the sheets are still not clean, and I feel itchy all over. I quickly put on a disposable bed cover. Everything else is OK

I tend to do a City hop to Valencia so with this being close to the airport it's ideally located for a decent night's sleep and then with a Subway Station directly outside so I can explore the City.

Stayed end of August with my mum and my sister for a few nights. First impressions the hotel is impressive, one of the nicest looking in the area. Location is good, close enough to the beach and ***** without being on top of it. The grounds and the pools are very nice - however pools are not heated! So even in Aug it was hard to get in! The buffet restaurant is what you’d expect. Breakfast was good, especially the fresh bacon! Evening meals were a bit repetitive and food was lukewarm. Buffet staff were a mixed bunch. Some happy and friendly… others really don’t want to be there. Bar staff at pool bar were always friendly. Be warned if you’re not on all inclusive the drinks at the bar are expensive. Around €24 for two vodka and cokes. If you manage to get a cheap deal… give it a go!

Stayed here for 1 month, on a BnB basis. Had a really good experience. Breakfast, although not exactly an English fry up, it was close enough. With the continental choice it provided more than enough range. Cleaning was efficient and thorough, the room was large and generally quiet, and check in was well organised. The hotel good for us, as it is not near the centre of Benidorm, but close enough, we had scooters, with buses direct to the airport below and a train station a 2mins walk. Superb. Not much noise from roudies, but when it did happen the staff reacted quickly, so only 1 nights problem. The culprit who we heard walking up the road to the hotel, and crashing through the corridors was evicted. Be warned, but good for guests. I would recommend and will return.
