The Twin Room Suite on the 21st floor was very run down. The carpets were filthy and covered with stains everywhere and there was a lingering smell of vomit on the carpet in front of the sofa which I had to use pure essential Peppermint oil to counter. There was debris (insect dropping? See photo) on the sofa when we first checked into the room. The bathroom had a faint unpleasant odour and the shower stall door could not keep in water from so the bathroom floor was semi- flooded each time we took a shower. Hotel breakfast buffet is of decent quality and variety but the coffee is undrinkable. Bed was comfortable and bed linens clean. I think the responses by the hotel's ”MarCom” or purported service recovery team appears to be AI generated as the complaints I now read online stretch way back with similar adverse feedback but nothing seems rectified despite platitudes and assurances to do better. Location is however top notch and if you are not a stickler for hygiene then the Hatten Hotel may be OK for you.

perfect hotel to stay.was give at the new lot hotel as at the HQ was fully booked.however it was not far from the receptionist...all new.clean room.clean bed.clean bathroom.have towel.soap.small fridge.kettle.tv big size.tv chanel good.bathroom water pressure so good..have water heater.new aircond sharp inverter so cold.have wifi.near to 7E.mamak.mr diy.many restaurant nearby.all.was prefect only the towel was so rough.please change boss..

Good: Welcome cookie! A few cool things about the breakfast - Fresh green salad Teh tahrik cart (Raziq was awesome!) Charcoal toast Infinity pool with great views Steam and Sauna Weird: Insisted that we could only request for two pilllow on the pillow menu when we paid for an extra bed had to request three times before the reception relunctantly agreed.

Great Stay with Excellent Location and Room Comfort, Minor Service Improvement Needed I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a very pleasant experience. What I loved: • Location: The hotel is in a great spot—just a 10-minute walk to Jonker Street, which made exploring Melaka’s heritage and food scene really convenient. • Room: Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The added sofa bed made it perfect for a small family like ours. • Breakfast: There was a wide variety at the breakfast buffet, and the pricing for additional guests was reasonable. • Swimming Pool: The pool area is a standout feature—there’s a large main pool with a depth of 2.7m, great for proper swimming. There’s also a smaller pool on the side designed for younger kids, complete with two small slides. Perfect for families. • Service: The front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and very helpful throughout our stay. Room for Improvement: As a Dusit member, I was entitled to a 15% discount on all dining at the hotel. Unfortunately, the restaurant staff didn’t check if I was a member before charging the extra guest breakfast, nor did they ask for the age of the extra guest—instead, the full adult price was charged by default. Due to these oversights, I had to go through a refund and recharging process which took nearly an hour to resolve. With a bit more attentiveness on member benefits and guest details, this would have been a near-perfect stay. Still, I would recommend the hotel and would consider returning.

The hotel is in a very strategic location—right next to the Red House and within walking distance to Jonker Walk. We booked this place to celebrate our little one’s birthday, and he really enjoyed it! However, the slide next to the bed is quite steep and feels a bit dangerous for young children. We ended up placing a pillow at the bottom to protect him. It’s definitely a fun place for kids, but it can be a bit uncomfortable for adults. I slept on the bottom bunk of the double-decker bed, and even small movements made it quite noisy. A big shout-out to all the hotel staff—they were great. I mentioned we were traveling with a senior citizen, and they arranged a room close to the lift, which we really appreciated. Overall, it’s a nice room for kids and families

The hotel is clean and the rooms are big. Suitable for families with kids. The parking convenient as its sheltered and directly in the hotel building. There are EV chargers (need to pay) as well for guest with EV car. It’s unfortunate that the pool closes at 7pm and they don’t have any food options in the evening. Nonetheless my family had a pleasant time at this hotel.

Rooms are clean. Staff polite and obliging. However, the mattresses in the rooms need to be changed. I stayed in two different rooms during this trip and found the that the mattresses were too soft. My whole body sank into the mattress and I could not get a comfortable sleep on both nights.

New hotel with a clean and comfortable room. Location is a bit far from the city center but very close if you're planning to visit Klebang. The surrounding area is not very Muslim-friendly in terms of food options, but there are plenty of convenience stores nearby like 7-Eleven, CU Mart, and Family Mart. One downside — if you're a light sleeper, you might be disturbed by construction noise from the back of the hotel early in the morning.

Am very pleased with this hotel. Room was clean and staff were attentive and courteous. Aircon was new and cold. Close to Jonker Street, about 15mins walking time from Hotel to Jonker Street. Nothing much around the area though. Only setback was that the water heater was not hot at all. Had to shower with cold water for both nights. Gave feedback via WhatsApp but no action was taken. On the other hand, had a very disappointing experience with Trip.com My booking voucher stated that the deluxe twin room i booked was without private bathroom and indicated that we had to use a shared toilet. I found it ridiculous that a deluxe room in 3-star hotel did not come with a toilet. It caused much distress and anxiety. That simple phrase sparked off a series of phone calls to Trip.com as well as a whatspp chat to Kington Hotel. Thankfully, the Hotel confirmed via WhatsApp that all their rooms came with private toilet. They said Trip.com had probably made a mistake and the shared toilet was probably referring to their sister hotel, called Swing & Pillows. I contacted Trip.com again with the new info and it through my insistence that they agreed to double confirm with the hotel that all rooms came with attached toilet. However, they didn't bother to resend a revised booking confirmation despite promising to do so. Trip.com needs to get their information updated and ensure accuracy to prevent anxiety and distress to customers.

The room was very clean and spacious. Bedding and towels were comfortable and soft. The shower pressure and water temperature were fantastic. The air conditioner was quiet and effective. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The hotel itself is situated close to Jonker walk which made it very convenient to travel round The only downside I found with the room was that the walls were quite thin/the room itself has a connecting door to another room so I could hear the other guests talking/using the toilet
