This is a very cute place to stay! The staff was very friendly, the room was comfortable, and the stay overall was enjoyable. The room was generally clean, with some details overlooked (like previous guest's receipt on the floor and a few other papers around the room, one of the towels was a bit dirty). The hotel only provides a toothbrush and a toothpaste (and shampoo and shower gel in the shower), but I found the lack of a bar of soap disappointing. The location is great, the hotel is right at the beach, and easily accessible. The hotel cafe is adorable, serves good food, and the staff is friendly and polite. As for the provided breakfast, I could choose from the breakfast menu at the cafe, and coffee was served directly. Overall, I would definitely recommend this adorable hotel to anyone visiting, it's charming and worth staying in!

Really nice resort. Clean, modern, several beautiful pools which were never very full and the staff is incredible. They help in any way they can, including arranging for a last minute boat tour for us well outside of their usual hours and seemed happy to make it work (add the guides they work with are fantastic too). It was a very peaceful and comfortable stay overall.  The one issue is the food, they put a lot of effort into it and have a very large breakfast buffet every day, but the food just isn’t that good. There's one restaurant in the resort and there aren’t many (any?) other food options in the area, so it’s pretty relevant. The food is a bit bland or with strange flavor combinations. And worse, it takes a comically long time to get served, even if just a sandwich, and it’s usually cold when it comes. This happened at all 4 of the meals we had there outside of breakfast.  But... It honestly didn't bother us that much. Partly bc we're not big foodies, but more importantly, bc the staff is so incredibly friendly and helpful. Everyone goes out if the way to make sure you get everything you want and then some. I hope they can fix the food issues and this place would be 5 star

Booked a room and stated that we will arrive in roughly 20 minutes. Once we arrived the hotel then started to prepare a room for us which meant a little waiting of roughly 20 minutes. Room itself is nice ans comfy. The room also had little balcony. As poor design of the doors there was a whistling noise from the wind at all times when the left balcony door was completely shut. No hairdryer in the room. Pizza at dinner was one from the freezer and before i ordered it i double checked with the waiter if the pizza is made inhouse - which he stated. Rice dish was plenty and really good. Staff at the breakfast didn’t care at all about our orders. We had to order everything we ordered at least two or three times. Please have another look also trough some reviews which are already on Google. It seems that we - as caucasians - were not the preferred type of customer. Conclusion; it’s a nice place but we wouldn‘t come back as we absolutely didn’t feel any welcomed as per the uninterested staff.

Location is not as it seems. Every time we have to go to the white beach or other areas, it cost a lot on those tricycle rides. I mean a lot it adds up to more than 2k going here and there in just 3 days. The hotel itself is great, spacious and clean. Service can improve a bit, not attentive at times. The food must improve a lot, butter chicken is not butter chicken, more like turmeric ginger chicken. I expected authentic Indian if the owner is Singaporean Indian. The worst part is the stairs to climb to the hotel after a long day of exploring. Hotel does not allow consumption of outside meals, which is a very restricting policy, forcing you to only buy in house meals, in which so much of it is out of stock and has very limited time frame to order. Book this if you have money to throw here and there, and if you have your own transportation.

We had an amazing time at Oceans Edge. Photos could not describe how beautiful this place really is. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. There is nothing more smoothing and relaxing than waking up to sunshine and ocean waves. Same goes for your morning shower. The staff is extremely helpful and professional. The island of Carabao is a true diamond with very few tourists compared to its crowded neighour, Boracay. We rented a scooter from the hotel and discovered the whole island on it. We got a few recommendations from the hotel manager about places to visit. My girlfriend wanted to watch the sunset and so the manager told us about this place called “5 pm” which is literally the perfect place to watch the sunset. The list of good things could go on and on but I am not a good writer. We stayed at a few places during this vacation but we definietly had the best experience at Oceans Edge. In conclusion, Carabao island really provides an authentic experience of the island lifestyle of the Philippines and plenty of natural beauty. Considering the level of hospitality and the 5 star luxury resort experience we had, I am almost sure that Oceans Edge is the top place to stay on this Island.

Awesome hotel! It basically has its own private beach that when the tide is right has really good waves and it has a massive pool so everyone is happy. It is away from the chaos of El Ndo, but close enough to be convenient when you want to visit. It’s a short walk to Lio, which is a chill town with great restaurants - especially Punta Playa. The breakfast, facilities and staff are all great!

We stayed in astoria for 4 days. Their amenities are nice but what really turned me off is their service. As soon as we arrived in the check in counter, we didn’t feel welcomed. A man was helping us check in while 4 women in white shirts were behind him just staring at us. I understand that they’re probably training these women but i don’t think they understand how uncomfortable it is to just have everyone staring at us. The customer service at the restaurant was terrible as well. Everytime we ordered or asked for something, the person delivering the food expected us to rearrange our utensils and food while she waited there on the side. Di ba kayo marunong magsalita? These people need to work on communicating and taking initiative. Also don’t order their room service food, I am not a picky eater but wow it’s so bad. Breakfast buffet and dinner buffet were decent

Very nice place the facilities were very clean and the service was amazing people were very kind. The food was outstanding I recommend the chicken san Vicente. Although there is nothing to do around bc is a very small town the hotel gives you the island hopping, massages and the beach which you could enjoy, good place to relax for a weekend.

The Four Points by Sheraton Palawan is a Marriot hotel for real. The hotel is pretty new, so they need to improve some issues, like the restaurant menu and the employees training. We had the New Year's dinner there that was amazing and the party after the dinner was very fun.  The hotel is near the Underground river, but far away from Puerto Princesa and the airport. The SPA is extremely expensive, a massage costs around 70 dollars. We liked a lot the hotel, but the big problem is that there's not good restaurants around, so you need to have all the meals in the hotel's restaurant.

SSun GlobalThe best facility you could have in El Nido - budget or premium. Everything is so well planned and designed. There is not a single point you could complain about. Let’s go one by one 1. Location - right in heart of El nido township. 450 meter or 6 minutes walk to El nido beach where tours begin 2. Pricing - facility provides best available features but pricing is very economical. I was born an Indian. I understand the value for money, this place is what best describes it 3. Staff - they are very courteous and welcoming. 4. Cleanliness - this facility started in 2024 I think. Everything is new and so well maintained Sheets are super clean , so are washrooms and all other places 5. Comes my favourite part - facilities and layout - this hotel has everything you would need. Now if you expect Casinos or shopping malls within a hotel - please don’t come to El nido , you are better off in a tier 1 city anywhere in the world. This hotel provides free breakfast. I booked @ 22.5 CAD a night. If you book early , you could get a dorm for 15 CAD or 11 USD or whatever currency you use - please convert. I could not get it for my first night as only female dorm was available by the time I booked. I booked my first night at One hostel. One hostel is ok, price is super cheap @ 500 php for a mixed dorm but is no where compared to Spin. What Spin offers - free breakfast, there is a free laundry, washing machines - do your laundry here , just get your own detergent , swimming pool - beautiful layout of hotel , a in-house full sized bar with staff - don’t need to go out for a drink at all, one complimentary mock tail voucher upon your arrival ( I got it when I arrived , rules may change with times ) , there is in-house ATM by the bar ( this is the most importantly feature - I have a night limit credit card and I don’t feel comfortable using it in unknown places especially in Asia and compromising it. You are secure to use a ATM which is in your hotel ), there is a designer space for hanging out just besides reception, a beautiful and spacious cafeteria. You can book your tours , hire a bike and book your return to Puerto Princesa from reception. They just note down you name and you pay directly to their partner. The rates are standard and fixed rates of market. They have game nights like beer pong when I arrived, check the short video. The layout of this place is so so good that I wish I could stay here yearlong. Everything is where it should be - it’s indeed a designer hotel. There is a faucet outside hotel to wash your feet - they do get sandy when you arrive from beach- everyone in El nido is a bag packer and wears sleepers when going out. The dorms are so spacious. The lockers are so big for every bunk bed , there is curtain for your bunk bed - full 360 degree of privacy , shared washrooms are big and toilet and shower areas are completely different - you will feel so clean during and after taking a bath as there is no possibility of a urea smell. The sockets in your bunk are so ideally positioned, big mirrors available in washroom and your own room. What it doesn’t have - only a shuttle to the moon I believe Now I did mention I had to book one hostel for my first night of stay. But I visited SPIN upon my arrival , checked out the facility and asked them to book me a tour as I would transfer here next day anyway. When I arrived here early at 7.30 am next morning, the receptionist gave me free breakfast. ( due to be noted that I had not stayed here the last night and that this was way out of the way for early checkin) 10 out of 5 stars for giving me the unexpected and unimaginable at such a great price. I have an option to go for Coron on last day of my stay but I will rather stay here not to loose my one night stay opportunity. Coron can wait , I won’t waste my SPIN night

WWinnieIt was fine for an overnight stay. Breakfast was reasonable here with tea/coffee, pastries. The front desk was not the friendliest of people & I was charged 800php for a lost key card , which I thought was pretty steep. Location was quite good as we wanted to be close to Tao Expeditions. The driver that picked us up from hotel did not help us with luggage at all, we dragged it through bumpy /rocky roads from airport to carpark and then to the hotel. Didn’t offer or lift a finger to help. But it had a great view from the breakfast roof top.

DDunnSallyThe stay was excellent, and will definitely return if we visit again & will recommend to everyone. The hotel was so relaxing & very tropical, which made you relax and completely switch off from everything. We stayed in a private Villa which was wonderful, & the room was a very good size with everything you would need and an amazing bathroom which made you feel like you were in the tropics. At the same time the main swimming pool was lovely with a great pool bar & the hotel's rooms around the side of the pool which also looked lovely. The only negative was breakfast this is an area that needs reviewing especially on the health & safety side On our first morning the plug socket was overloaded which caused the wires to set on fire quite badly. The staff were not great at dealing with the situation & eventually security came BUT threw a glass of water over the fire! Not sure that should be the case? The guest on the other table said this happened the day before as well? I think more electric sockets need to be added to not overload?? The buffet breakfast looked messy, and could be improved? The ordered food was great & dinner was also great. The hotel is wonderful and I would come back.

VVictoria&JessiMy overall experience is good! I'm the type of person who prefers active travelling, so the hotel is needed literally just for sleep, shower and storing stuff. My requirements for the hotel were good proximity to the city center and nice room with hot shower. Well, the location is truly good, it's a bit on the hill so to get to the city center you just need to come down. In the same building there is a great cafe DAYO who offer 10% discount per day for the Oceana Bay hotel's guests. During our trip to Philippines, Coron was the last destination and the 4th hotel we stayed at, and that was the only one with some room facilities issues. When we checked-in it turned out there is no water in the shower, the staff truly tried to be helpful, the receptionist girl offered us to stay in another upgraded room before the problem will be solved. The thing is when one day later we had to return to the room the problem with the water wasn't solved, we had to contact staff all the time which for sure was absolutely inconvenient, especially when water could be cut off during taking shower. At that point nobody cared already, there were no offers to change the room or to offer us a discount. The siphon from the sink was leaking, so every time you wash your hands, the bathroom floor is immediately in water. The AC is truly loud, but this is absolutely normal for Philippines, as well as the absence of hair dryer. Nice thing that the hotel unlimitedly provides drinking water in the hall. The hotel also offers tours, bike rent, transfer to the airport, but I'd suggest to check it out in the city first, we've found more convenient and better price offers there.

KKurzaThe hotel itself was lovely and the food was good. However, we found the roosters next to the hotel to be very inappropriate and disturbing. We could not sleep properly because they are noisy all through the night. There is no way to block the noise out. We were able to switch rooms, which helped, but if the hotel is running at full occupancy it will be a problem. About 24 rooms are affected by the noise the roosters make. It is a pity that roosters on a plot next to the hotel causes plenty of discomfort for guests. If I was the owner of this hotel, I would certainly do something about the roosters.

AAnonymous UserWe recently spent a few nights here and overall, it was a decent experience. The cleanliness of the hotel was good, although I did notice that the chairs in our room could use a vacuum, as they had some dark stains. Additionally, the room’s smell could be improved to create a more welcoming atmosphere upon arrival. On the plus side, I absolutely loved the mattress and comforter; they made for a very comfortable sleep. The location is a major advantage, being right in front of the mall, making it easy to access shopping and dining options. The staff were generally nice and accommodating, though I found the waiter at the restaurant to be a bit shy. He seemed to lack communication skills, as he didn’t greet customers or smile, which detracted from the overall experience. I think he could benefit from some additional training in customer service. As for the food, while it was fine, I felt that the prices were a bit steep considering the typical quality and serving sizes. In summary, while it's not a luxury hotel, it provides a decent stay with comfortable accommodations and a good location. It just needs a few improvements in cleanliness, ambiance, and service training to enhance the guest experience. I appreciated the thoughtful touch of receiving pens upon checkout :)

AAnonymous UserThis place is fantastic! Location-wise, it’s really great. It’s very near the city’s commercial establishments and great restaurants - 5-minute drive on average. It’s also near the airport. The neighborhood in which it is in is very quiet and peaceful. So if you want a place that’s very accessible but still in a quiet location, this hotel is for you. I also would like to commend the staff - they’re all very warm and friendly. They were very accommodating and gladly answered all our questions about our travel. This hotel has a resort vibe so you really get to relax. It has great amenities, a lovely pool, and a relaxing main reception hall with a billiard table and comfy couches. It also has an in-house restaurant which is great for those who don’t want to go out to dine. Our room was very clean, cozy and surprisingly large for its price. We would definitely book this place again when we visit Puerto Princesa in the future. Definitely worth the price! 🫶
