I would have rated lower if I could. Arriving with children only to find out at bedtime that tap water in bathroom is grumpy and yellow. Complaining the following morning and told that we shouldn’t have been checked into this room but they could move us - so what about the bad and unacceptable basic conditions the first night? No we can’t give any refund - second night doesn’t really help us with early morning checkout. This is absolutely horrible and for someone born and raised in Aalborg an embarrassment

Attentive service, excellent breakfast, cocktails 5⭐️ Spacious rooms with comfortable beds.. The shower area could be improved. No restaurant or room service, but excellent establishments are a 10-minute walk away.

Stayed here 3 nights and it was lovely . We stayed in room 92 which I think is the biggest room there . We had a huge bathroom with jacuzzi bath and the bed was very comfortable . Good location and very clean . Breakfast was lovely 😊. Loved the decor too and the service was good

Was here for the Danfish exhibition from the UK. This hotel was decorated in such a comfortable and homely style. My room was clean, and had everything I needed. Breakfast was great, plenty of veggie options and the veggie burger I had at dinner was so good, as well as nice wines. The staff spoke perfect English and nothing was too much trouble for them, they were kind and friendly. Could not hear any noise from the airport. Train from the conference centre went to airport so good transport links. Very pleased with my stay.

This is one of the best hotel experiences I have had in a very long time. The staff is very friendly (receptionists, cleaning staff, morning buffet). It was a welcoming atmosphere. The morning buffet is very nice and orderly. I can recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice stay in Aalborg close to the city centre.

The breakfast is quite rich. The parking lot is chargeable. The sofa in the room I live in can be used as a bed. It is easy to find on the roadside, and you can see the sea in the room. You can lie on the bed and watch the sunrise🌅

Despite being on the edge of the town’s working harbour area this hotel was a delightful place to stay and within a short walk of the picturesque centre. The staff are very friendly and helped us with maps and ideas of what to see and do in the locality. Our room was nicely furnished and the breakfast selection was superb. Parking is on site. The hotel also owns an excellent fish restaurant in the harbour as well as a nearby bakery/cafe where we bought our packed lunch for the day. Visitors to this town should not miss the beautiful walk along the beach at Grenen to watch the frenzy of waves where the Baltic Sea meets the North Sea, and there are plenty of other pleasant walks and bicycle routes around the peninsula.

I loved the position since it is in the middle of the night life . The main ”problem” is the loud that you can hear in the night because of the Bar ...but in your room you can find hear cap ...to improve you sleep . The best thing is that you can party hard in the night and when you wanna back in the building you spend few seconds to arrived . In the morning the place is nice too . The only thing that I think they can improve is the breakfast menù .. usually , in other hotel ( in other counties) is found more options among I can choise ..and I love when there are some local staff ( Here there aren't except the sky ( maybe)) Anyway I recomande it

Standard hotel from the Scandic chain. Located 15 minutes walk from the main street. Near railway station. The rooms are not very spacious. The hotel is located on a quiet street, there is no noise from the station. Free parking on site. Standard breakfast. Friendly staff. Great option for one night.

Cabin Hotel Aalborg is a budget hotel with a great location in the center of Aalborg. The hotel is within walking distance of most attractions in the city centre, the city's shopping streets and nightlife. The Limfjord is only a few meters from the hotel. We were quickly welcomed by a cheerful employee when we arrived at the hotel and the order was quickly found. We were informed about the times for breakfast and were given a brief description of the way to the room. The employee did not have a name badge or uniform, but was dressed informally. The same applied at check-out. Both at check-in and check-out we received both smiles and pleasant comments from the employees. The guest room appeared small and somewhat worn, but was clean and contained everything needed for a good night's sleep. The beds were nicely made and had clean and comfortable linen. The mattresses were in good condition. The guest room was equipped with a kettle, flat screen TV and individual air conditioning. However, the air conditioning did not work very well in our room. The bathroom was very small and there was no separate shower corner, but an impractical solution with a shower head on the ceiling in the middle of bathroom. The towels provided were clean and in good condition. The hotel had a pleasant lobby with several seating areas. It was also possible to buy snacks and beverages at the reception. The corridors and other common areas appeared somewhat worn and could have benefited from renovation. The cleanliness was generally good. Breakfast was served as a buffet, with a selection of both hot and cold dishes, as well as coffee, tea, juice and milk. However, the selection appeared somewhat limited and boring. The breakfast buffet was regularly replenished, but there were some empty dishes. The staff at breakfast were not very present and I missed both smiles, service comments, commitment and interest in me as a guest. As a budget hotel, the place worked well and I experienced getting good value for money. However, if you want something more than a bed and a quick overnight stay, I would choose another place.

Clean and nice accommodations. Fantastic service minded staff starting with a very friendly attitude already at check-in when arriving at the reception and continuing throughout the stay including cleaning staff. #KUDOS

Good location, the room is very warm, breakfast Chinese will definitely not get used to

L'hôtel Marie est de type ”pension familiale”, idéalement situé dans Skagen, et notamment assez éloigné du quartier du port de pêche pour éviter les odeurs de poisson. La réception ferme à 18h, c'est une petite limite de l'endroit l'hôtel est dans la partie un petit peu ”animée” proches des restaurants et bars donc on entend parfois un petit peu de brui mais nous sommes sensibles au bruit. Parking privé et gratuit (pensez à demander le bon d'autorisation en arrivant) Décoration sobre, agréable, style ”bord de mer” Nous avons eu un appartement familial, grand, très fonctionnel (il y a même un mini lave-vaisselle dans l'espace cuisine) Grande salle de bain, très fonctionnelle aussi Ménage bien fait Très bon petit déjeuner avec des produits de qualité, notamment des confitures maison, des bons pains et d'excellentes viennoiseries (pourtant, nous sommes français) Je remercie BEAUCOUP la dame qui fait la réception le matin : j'ai eu un problème de santé et elle a tout fait pour que je puisse voir un médecin rapidement et que nous puissions poursuivre nos vacances.
