The sanitation of the hotel is very good. It is very close to the exhibition hall. It takes about 5 minutes to walk. You can eat in the hotel. It is not convenient to eat elsewhere. The scenery by the lake is particularly good

Points for improvement: The hotel has an inadequate pool location, with the view blocked by a film. The pool was very dirty, with dirt and cloudy water. There was no control whatsoever. The air conditioning had a broken blade and was held in place by a bag of sugar. The bathroom was not very clean. The TV was not connected to the Wi-Fi.
Positive points: The room was very quiet, the bed was comfortable, the service was very good, the location is good despite being far from the beach, and the breakfast, although it had many gluten-free options, had several savory dishes.

Amazing experience, I like hotels and this one made me want to stay a little longer. Impeccable service, restaurant that values different cuisine, from dinner to sheik's coffee.
Note: we ate pizza, but what a pizza it was... 😱

The location was good and it felt safe. The pool was small, but the breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. It felt crowded with group tourists, but I thought it was a decent place, so I thought it was good. There are a lot of supermarkets, laundromats, and restaurants nearby, and it's right in front of the beach, so it's great!
The room is very good, comfortable, clean and has a wonderful view!
Improvement points:
I made the order of a nice filet with a paddy sweet and was very bad. The breakfast is honest, tasty.
2) SPA. I know it is a third-party company, but the care needs to improve tb. I asked for a massage via WhatsApp and the massage therapists did not respond in any way. I had to ask for the guest's reception to get in touch with the SPA. When they arrived at the massage, the officials were massaging each other, so they didn't listen to me and, to complete a constraint, I passed a constraint when they charged me the massage, even I informed that I would pay as soon as they finished. the service. bad experience.

Excellent hotel, food, staff. Josep Gabriel Tomás Thais is a genius. He helped me find accommodation until I could return to the Radisson in 4 days. He cares about the guests. The hotel and Josep are a pleasure. Thank you.

CCostaNelsonVery friendly staff, nice hotel. I booked a suite for one night, the room was clean although it could use some refurbishing. One window didn't lock, so the noise from the street was constant. Located in a street with some stores, but not an area where you feel safe walking around. No toiletries included apart from s soap and shower gel/shampoo. Coffee machine in the bedroom with 2 coffee pods. I couldn't see a menu anywhere, assumed these were complimentary, as in most hotels where you rent a suite. I was surprised to be charged 1.5 USD per capsule on checkout, and that there was a QR code informing me of this in the room. I couldn't find it anywhere though.
All in all, great staff, but there is definitely a much better price to service/location ratio than this hotel in Rio
GGuest UserWe booked this hotel in Nov at an inflated price of $1500 USD for 4 nights assuming there'd be rooftop access on NYE since the hotel website didn't call out a ticketed event for that night. When we arrived, the staff told us it was in fact a ticketed event for an additional $300 USD. Perhaps our oversight but we scowered the website before booking at such a high price and it wasn't there. The manager was very helpful in accommodating a cancellation if needed, ultimately we were too tired to pack and unpack again and waste another day in transit so we stayed and bought the tickets.
Check in is 2pm. We arrived at 1pm and they said they had a room for us. It wasn't ready so we went to the pool where again, service was wonderful. Front desk gave us a tour of 2 rooms to choose from which was great, but then msgd me and said they'd have a diff room ready at 2:30. We went down at 3pm and the room changed yet again and the new room still wasn't ready. We got a room with no apologies at 4pm.
The room was standard. Strong cleaning smell but decent. The shower hose didn't stay in place. The shower drain did not work at all - we had to kick the water to the corner each time for it to drain or pools of water stayed until the next day. The sink also didn't drain. The toilet stopped flushing. We had a plate with one chocolate on it from NYE which by the next day was covered in ants. We are very tidy girls and give some grace for older hotels to have some flaws, but the experience for the price we paid made us appreciate the airbnbs we'd stayed at before checking in here.
Location is great, gym and pool are great, but not worth the $ for NYE or Carnival.

GGuest UserThe hotel has a nice location on the beach, but the property could do with some updates.
The first room I went into had a funny smell, so I reported it to reception. The male receptionist looked at me, and as if he doubted my word
After I insisted, he assigned me a new room, but it was left to me to move my luggage. . No support was offered and I couldn’t be bothered to ask.
I did ask if there would be any complimentary water put in the room. He said he would get housekeeping to put some water, but I’m still waiting two days later.
Power outlets in the room are limited and not designed for modern travel. No USB points.
The TV is old and not smart or Internet connected. There are no cable channels so nearly all of the channels are local language apart from one CNN news channel in English..
The hotel is quite noisy and dogs. The walls are thin and guests scrape furniture across the marble floors. This is relatively easy to remedy if the hotel cared.
The rooftop pool was disappointing as it’s quite small and normally full of kids.
The restaurant is closed after breakfast. There is a bar, but it’s never open..
The biggest problem I had was the Internet. It did not work properly in my room and kept cutting out every few minutes. I had to stand in the corridor or come down to the lobby in order to get any decent coverage. I complained to the staff, but they did nothing and just told me it works.. This was extremely frustrating and I certainly wouldn’t come back to this hotel again.
NNicholasThis property has the potential to be amazing, but it needs a few key updates. The location is fabulous, the staff is excellent, and the restaurant is great both in terms of service and food quality.
The room was spacious, and the balcony was unbeatable. If you only speak English, you can get by staying here because all of the staff speak excellent English. We encountered a problem when the showerhead broke off, but the repairman came reasonably quickly to replace it, and he was very polite and not disruptive. We ordered room service, and Dom Rio, the hotel’s restaurant, delivered it quickly. I had the filet which was cooked properly to the correct temperature (medium rare). My fiancé had the alfredo pasta which she liked a lot. The breakfast had a huge selection, and everything tasted good.
The only thing keeping this hotel from earning top marks is the general state of much of the decor in the rooms. The curtains look shabby and dirty from moisture, and the wood of the cabinets is warped also. It is very hard to maintain a room that is constantly exposed to salt water and ocean breeze, but the materials chosen have not stood up to age.
I would recommend staying here if you are interested in staying in Barra at a nice but reasonably priced hotel, but don’t expect the finest luxury. Expect a very large, fairly clean room with a comfortable bed and an amazing view.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a very good location , 5 minutes walking and you are on the beach . It’s a very beautiful building and the room is clean, the service was very good, all the employees were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, with many options, including fruits and local things. We stayed during New Year’s Eve , and we choose a good place to escape from the crowd Copacabana, Praia do Recreio is more quiet and clean, there were some noises from fireworks but nothing comparing to Copacabana.

GGuest UserMy first room had the worst stains on the chair and sofa. No way should this room been allowed for check in. I booked a queen bed apartment and was moved to a. Double bed room with a view as trade. I was tired and could not be bothered to argue.
There was an apology by the checkin staff.
The breakfast is average (I came from Salvador where breakfast was amazing).
Housekeeping and services were good - all the ladies were nice and pleasant.
The bed had one pillow and the sheets had holes. There was no spare blanket in the room and the duvet provided was not the best so it got cold on a few nights and was too hot on others.
Shower facilities were good but no skin lotion in the room which was fine as I had my own.
No free water in the room only the minibar too - had to go to ibis hotel next door at like 2am to buy stuff there …both hotels are linked
Generally the stay was mediocre and the area does not have anything to do. It is ok and central for Uber which was a bonus.
Would I stay there again - hardly likely
Would I challenge that I am owed money as the room I paid for is not what I was given - may do …if I have the energy
Hopefully Novotel would reach out to me before that happens

GGuest UserMy experience at the H Niterói Hotel was excellent! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the staff, who were extremely attentive and professional. The hotel has an incredible location, with a spectacular view of Rio de Janeiro, especially from the rooftop, where the infinity pool is located. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery.
The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, with all the necessary items for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was another highlight: lots of variety and everything was fresh and tasty.
The hotel's infrastructure is modern and well-maintained, which contributed to making the experience even better. Without a doubt, a great choice in Niterói. I recommend it and hope to return soon!
GGuest UserI checked into the hotel and was very impressed at everything, the welcome, genuine friendliness from the front reception staff, but in particular one person was an absolute diamond!
Mr Barbosa helped me with first aid and assistance getting to hospital after I was hit by a motorcycle whilst crossing the road. He went above and beyond for me, helping me to remove my heavily blood stained shirt and freshen up before hospital. He did everything possible to help me - it was an outstanding effort! Amazing ! A real hero!
GGuest UserThe room is clean and tidy. The location is relatively good. It is close to the city center and the pier. The surrounding environment is relatively safe. The hotel facilities are relatively old and should have a history of several years. Check-in is relatively fast
NNicholasA very average hotel experience. I will start with the slight complaints: The room was not perfectly clean (the bed skirting was stained, for example), but the sheets, pillows, and mattress were clean. The hotel was a bit loud at times, as you can hear other guests in the hall from inside the rooms. The room service was very slow, and my fiancée’s order was messed up the first time (she recieved the wrong item). However, the kitchen quickly made things right by sending the correct order. My food was alright, and she really liked what she ordered. The room was a decent size. It had a full-sized couch, large bathroom, and a double bed in the room we booked. The shower was amazing. It was the highlight of the trip for me. The room had a view of The Redeemer which was nice. We booked this hotel mostly due to its proximity to Santos Dumont airport; it was perfect for us in that regard. If you have an early flight from SDU, this is an easy hotel to recommend.
