A True Eden with Exceptional Hospitality
My stay at Eden Beach Khaolak Resort was absolutely delightful! The resort lives up to its name—lush tropical gardens, a pristine beach, and stunning azure pools made me feel like I’d stepped into paradise. The Thai-inspired room design, paired with the soothing sound of waves, created the perfect relaxing getaway. The surrounding area was lively yet convenient, with easy access to local markets, restaurants, and shops, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.

A special shout-out to Ms. Pure at the front desk for her outstanding service! When I needed help navigating public transportation to Phuket, she actively contacted the staff of the transportation company and added my contact information to find out if I was able to successfully board the bus that day. Her kindness and professionalism turned what could have been a stressful experience into a smooth and enjoyable journey. This level of care truly sets the resort apart!
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to Khaolak. Highly recommended for travelers seeking both natural beauty and heartfelt hospitality!

We booked this hotel for three nights, the ”Villa with Pool View” room. Upon check-in, we upgraded to an ocean wing, which is closer to the beach.
What I liked:
- location
- excellent breakfast, enough of everything
- quite a nice spacious villa with wooden furniture, normal internet, two showers (one of them outside) and a bath
- shower area is separated by a wardrobe, and not right in front of the windows - you can calmly change after a shower
- air conditioning worked well
- beautiful area, you can see that they clean
- enough sun loungers
- good TV, there is YouTube, you can connect HDMI
- great beach in front of the lighthouse
What I didn't like:
- lots of mosquitoes, had to ask several times to bring a fumigator
- service: took a long time to respond to a request for a fumigator, did not help with luggage upon checkout and did not really say goodbye
- no foot wash near the porch, you have to stomp to the shower with dirty feet
- no toothbrushes (further in the hotel rules it is written that toothbrushes are provided upon request, selling ”under the sauce” of care about ecology.)
Would we come back here again?
Probably yes, you just need to take mosquito repellent and toothbrushes with you :)

Have to say we love staying bar Apsara, it's probably our 10 th time, you would think the staff would get to know you or upgrade you or even get you an early check in but no you just get that your room will be ready at two pm !!. Tried to ask for the general managers name to just recommend a few small changes that might help the hotel but apparently they don't have a general manager so I was told.
Renovated rooms are very well done 10 out of 10
Swimming pool s a nice but there seems to be a line of scum always around the pool I am guessing it's sun tan oil and it's a bit of putting.

This is not a holiday for anyone who is not capable of walking. All of the rooms involve needing to go upstairs or walk for a while and there's not very even-footing available for those that can't walk very far. Even just to get into the lobby or into the restaurant you need to be able to walk upstairs a lot.
When you first arrive they do give you a quick rundown of all of the facilities available and they supply a map. Then someone will escort you to your room via golf cart. The front desk staff are very informative and helpful. The staff in the restaurant are very quick but not particularly informative. The first time you walk in nobody explained how the buffet works. You should approach the staff and give them your punch card before you get food.
The masseuse was excellent.
This part of the resort actually has quite a few restaurants and shops and a pharmacy in the area which is different to a lot of the hotels in Khao lak, so that actually makes it much better than some other places where you would have to get a taxi into the town centre to see anything.
The beach is beautiful and perfect for people that like to see little creatures as there are plenty of crabs around.
Location : located in good area ( Not so far from the city where you can find many foods and convenience stores).
Services : the stuffs were super nice and help you if you need anything.
Food : breakfast was excellent! With different varieties of foods, you can try many Thai dishes and also western.
We had dinner at the Japanese restaurant, but unfortunately it was pricey and the taste was not worth the price. But! The service was really nice!
Amenities:
The swimming pool was wide and both adults and kids can enjoy.
There was a beach where you can watch sunset and do many morning activities the hotel provided.
They also have gym, kids playground, and many activities including canoeing. Didn’t really get bored even though it was raining all day.
Very good place to stay with your family or friends. Very kids friendly and I think you will enjoy Khao Lak staying here.
My experience at Santhiya Koh Yao Yai was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all expectations.
1. Tranquil Location & Stunning Views:
The resort is incredibly peaceful, with a breathtaking location surrounded by nature. The scenery is simply amazing — a perfect escape from the noise and crowds.
2. Beautiful & Quiet Rooms:
The room was calm, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views. The private pool made the experience even more enjoyable.
3. Outstanding Staff:
Most of the staff were exceptionally friendly, kind, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Their warmth really made a difference.
4. Minor Issue with Restaurant Credit:
There was only one issue during my stay — a misunderstanding with a restaurant staff member regarding the use of the resort credit. Unfortunately, the management handled it poorly by calling in the waiter to prove I was wrong. This approach was unprofessional and left a negative impression, which contrasted with the otherwise excellent service.
5. Amazing Restaurant Experience:
The food at the resort was outstanding — delicious, healthy, and with plenty of variety to suit every taste.
6. Fast & Efficient Transportation Within the Resort:
The internal transportation service was impressively responsive. On one occasion, I called for a buggy and they arrived even before I hung up the phone!
7. Highly Recommended:
I strongly recommend this resort to anyone seeking luxury, relaxation, and a unique experience surrounded by nature.
Final Note:
I would only advise the management to train the front desk staff to handle situations more gracefully. One negative moment should not overshadow the hard work and excellence of the rest of the team.

We stayed 5 nights here in July during the rainy season.
Good: Big rooms, beautiful pool at the hotel wing, nice location, beach access. Service is friendly and accommodating.
Fair: breakfast buffet spread is fairly wide, good for the price, they change one or two items everyday. Umbrellas provided because you need it to get between the buildings. Gym is small and equipment is old and some of it is broken, but there's enough space to do floor exercises.
Poor: maintenance of some common areas and also the aircon. Inconsistent amenities in rooms
We were booked into a deluxe pool view room (2nd floor) which had a moldy smell that we couldn't get rid of. After the 2nd day we asked for a different room and we were upgraded to a pool access room (1st floor), which didn't have a moldy smell. But the hot water didn't work in that room. Also, our original room had a smart Android TV with built-in Netflix and Youtube apps, but the upgraded room did not. Not a huge deal breaker for us as we travel with a HDMI cable but it just seemed strange. Also the pool access room was in the last block (rooms 512 to 524 I think), which abutt the back of the shophouses next to the resort so you can look down into their backyards and hear the people talking even with the door closed). The other buildings don't have this issue as they are not next to any other buildings (for now).

Very friendly hotel, a pleasant feeling that you were expected here. When I entered the room, the light was already on, the air conditioner was working, and there were fresh flowers, and there was also a personal welcome letter.
Breakfast was also a pleasure, there is a coffee machine, the largest selection of fruits and snacks of all the hotels I have visited.
It has its own beach with sun loungers, the territory is very green, well-groomed.

There are a few swimming pools in the hotel which is very convenient for kids to play. The food there is average though.
