Family Hotels in New South Wales, Australia

We stayed at Angourie for 3 nights, Beautiful location and convenient , close to shops and beach. The resort itself needs maintenance. The kids' indoor play area needs a good clean and also a change, and all the safety screen needs we couldn't use it as too many mosquitoes were around. We got some snacks from the restaurant ( calamari and chickens wings ) and this was a let-down for the price you would expect a minimum standard of freshly cooked food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a nice stay.

The cabin was fully equipped and we had a pleasant dinner. It was very close to the beach and the scenery was beautiful. The front desk was very welcoming. Disadvantages The room is small and the furniture is a bit old.

The staff were excellent & the room was divine. It is clearly now a family/young children-centric accommodation. The pool was great but 8 unaccompanied children in the spa (aged approx 4 to 8 years old) diving around (unable to touch the bottom) was very unsafe & uncomfortable for me. 2 parents were on phones more than 5m away. Also screaming toddlers & numerous kids on all 3 billiard tables - defying the sign saying 18 years+ only. We have school-aged kids but it was our special few days so these 2 areas could have been adults only & that would have made all the difference.

Highly recommended, great service and facilities were great. Very accommodating and friendly staff.

這次嘗試了各種模式的住宿，這家營地真是喜歡，到的時候前台下班了給我留了鑰匙地圖，在辦公室門口，房子門口就可以停車，有小河，有海灘，可以自己燒烤，當然東西自己要有，也可以買餐車上提供的食物，房間裏可以睡4個人沒問題，水流也很大，當然隔音一般，可是大家到了夜裡都很安靜，衹有大海的波浪聲，真的太喜歡這種感覺了，離開鎮中心也不遠的，有車還是很方便的，夜裡還去看了看深夜的大海，喜歡。不過這個房子雖然提供餐具和爐子，報警器很敏感，煎塊牛排也叫了，所以油煙需要控制，另外整體清潔度也很好，雖然有些舊，一直以為這種營地很艱苦，沒想到還是很不錯的。

The environment is good, the room is large, and there are wild kangaroos if you have a chance to go there. It's worth staying for two more days. The facilities are also complete, including swimming pools, tennis courts and golf courses. Just make a reservation for dinner in advance otherwise it closes very early. The first floor is dark. Free parking is available and suitable for self-driving tours. You need to bring some food with you, as the supermarket is far away.

Unfortunately this place is way over priced and well over run. You have to pay for everything on top of the already expensive room prices. Pool is old and kids area is in need of an upgrade. No sufficient shading in pool or kids area. We had a poor experience in our room, and much to the credit of staff, we were quickly upgraded to a bigger and better room. This was the saver for us, and made the stay worth it in the end. Staff are very friendly. Food was good in both restaurants, particularly downstairs at the bar. Ridges haven't really bothered doing any sufficient upgrades since Taking over.. The place feels old and outdated. Won't be going back.

Lots of facilities here for kids but old. The new cabins are clean and beautiful but the old cabins some are dirty and smelly. The staff here are not nice people.

Having hit a discarded lump of metal on the M80 motorway coming out of Melbourne, I was delayed by four hours to get the bent wheel rim repaired and a new tyre. I checked in at 930pm. I let the hotel know early in the afternoon and there was no problem. Actually Thursdays they are open until between 10-11pm. The reception service is perfect: friendly, helpful and clear instructions. The access by stairs could be an issue for some. The queen bed room was clean, very comfortable firm mattress and fresh new linen. There is no sink in the bedroom so water for the kettle (in a hallway tea and coffee counter) had to be obtained from the shared bathroom (no so hygienic) and this sink also used for washing any cups. Plenty of clean bath mats in the bathroom. Lots of hot water for the shower and great pressure. Very comfortable stay after an unpleasant, tiring day on the road. Definitely consider staying here again.

The entrance to the room is in the wild. When it is 2 pm, the kangaroo sleeps under the shade of the trees. Then there is a seating area outside the room, which is very comfortable. Children can run in the grass and play with the branches, so happy. In the afternoon, I went to the nearby supermarket to buy some burdock food. The two families made their own dinner, which was very casual and very holiday. The day of the stay is a sunny day. In the evening, you can create a photo. Under the setting sun, the tree shadow is beautiful. If you are lucky enough to catch the kangaroo, the picture is very interesting. In the evening, when you leave the room, you can see the stars in the sky. The Milky Way is clearly visible. The mobile phone broadcasts a quiet little music. It is a step with the loved ones. Stay for a while, don't be too romantic.
