Another grand scale hotel that is showing it's age. But it's clean, comfortable & has great views. The staff are excellent, especially the waitresses that follow you around at breakfast. The Thong Tarin remains good value.
This is a beautiful and very stylish hotel. It's very central in Surin, but also a bit back from the main road, so it's fairly quiet. The rooms are spotless and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast selection is great.
almost perfect
We reserved two times, on the 17th-19th, a Superior room and 19-20, a Suite because the Superior was full. When we arrived on the 17th, because we didn't want to move rooms, we asked to upgrade to a Suite. The staff will charge us an additional 5,000 baht per night. !!! They said that it was the walk-in price of the suite minus the price of the superior room that we booked from the internet, so we chose to move rooms instead. But for the hotel It might have been better to charge a standard price difference (i.e. walk-in price for the suite minus walk-in price for the superior room), which we were prepared to pay, and the suite was sadly vacant for two days.
The first room we stayed in, 414, at the end of the left hallway, was spacious, quiet and clean. But it's right above the kitchen. Starting to smell from food preparation from 1am. In the morning the smell was so strong that we had to ask to move rooms on the second night.
Room 208, the bedside light doesn't work. The shower holder fell off. And the walls of the room are quite thin so that you can hear the sound of the light switch turning on and off from the next room.
Last night, Suite 311 was very spacious and well proportioned. both kitchen and living room Very well decorated
Safety is a bit of a concern as the lift can be accessed from the street.
Roof top doesn't look as clean as it should.
The exercise room allows only one air conditioner to be turned on, even though there are 3 of them and must use a fan to help blow it.
Breakfast, although there are many types to choose from But some things ran out very quickly (as early as 8 a.m.) and replenishment was delayed. There are only a few types, but it might be better to receive constant attention.
However, this is a very good hotel. and can fully recommend staying here.
Booked VIP room. Quite big, but furniture is rather tired and old. Bath amenities are quite poor. Anyway, good value for money to stay overnight. The free parking is available just in front if the building. Nice BBQ restaurant just 100 meters from the hotel.
It is a little bit far from Surin Bus Terminal. Tuk-tuk is about 60 baht, motorbike is about 40 baht, and if you don't have luggage, it takes about 25 minutes on foot. It is good value for money, and breakfast is available at the restaurant on the first floor, but the food and iced coffee seem a little more expensive than outside restaurants. It is better to make reservations on Trip.com than directly at the hotel. There are no restaurants around, and if you exit the hotel and go to the right and go a little to the left on the main road, there is a coffee shop (pictured). It is generally quiet, and the facilities such as the beds and air conditioning are okay.
New accommodation, convenient and comfortable. The walkway smells like a spa. I really like it. The breakfast is delicious, the price is good, the room is excellent, the room is big, the bathroom is big, very nice.
P.S. I would like to have a toothbrush as well.
It was a new and clean hotel.
Breakfast is not very much menu, but it feels like it is at least available. It may be a little unsatisfactory if it is a family trip.
Free parking and clean room, good price, delicious breakfast.

GGuest UserSuper clean room , comfortable bed, the food at the hotel restaurant was good. Only 2 plug sockets away from bed, Thai and few English channels on tv.
Within short drive to the Elephant festival.
Ideal for 2023.
I enjoyed my stay . Thanks 🙏
