Great location for Muslim travellers – just steps from Ao Nang Mosque and surrounded by halal restaurants. All the staff are friendly and very helpful, massages options at the hotel spa are quite affordable, and there’s an activities counter with plenty to do. Only 10 mins to the beach, plus a gym and kids club. Swimming pool is big and fine, but kids’ pool needs better upkeep.

Receptionist Leila was very sweet, she warmly responded to all our requests. The space for storing belongings in the rooms was very limited. The air conditioning was excellent and kept the room very comfortable. Room cleaning was always incomplete, but we still recommend it. P.S: The hotel had a ban on bringing durians inside, and we really appreciated that, because we’re sensitive to the smell.

I recently stayed at what was advertised as a 4-star hotel, but unfortunately, my experience was far from impressive. The lobby area looked pristine, and the hotel certainly took pride in its public spaces, but the room left much to be desired. When we walked in, it was immediately apparent that the room was not cleaned thoroughly. It seemed like they cleaned around the room rather than doing a deep clean. There were dead bugs on the wall, which was pretty off-putting, and the hand-held bidet was in an unacceptable state. It wasn’t cleaned before we arrived, nor was it attended to during our stay. For a hotel that supposedly offers a high standard, these oversights were shocking. Given the hefty price we paid—more than what I’ve spent at 5-star hotels—I expected far better. The room itself was disappointing and clearly not maintained to the standard one would expect from a hotel of this supposed calibre. For the money, this hotel did not deliver the quality it promised. Adding to the disappointment, the breakfast experience was just as underwhelming as the room. The hotel proudly claims that their bakery items are baked in-house, even displaying this in the restaurant—but this couldn’t be further from the truth. There wasn’t a single trace of fresh bakery aroma, and the items served looked and tasted like they came straight out of a supermarket package. The overall breakfast selection was poor, lacking variety and freshness. Despite having paid for it as part of our stay, we ended up choosing not to eat there after the first attempt. The tea was weak and flavorless, and the machine-made hot drinks were almost undrinkable. Adding to the disappointment, the breakfast experience was just as underwhelming as the room. The hotel proudly claims that their bakery items are baked in-house, even displaying this in the restaurant—but this couldn’t be further from the truth. There wasn’t a single trace of fresh bakery aroma, and the items served looked and tasted like they came straight out of a supermarket package. It’s incredibly frustrating to pay premium prices, expecting 4-star quality, only to receive service and amenities that wouldn’t pass for a 3-star. This stay was a major letdown from start to finish.

Overall hotel is very lovely, super clean and peaceful. We booked room with a pool access and didn’t like it at all. Everything was so worn out, shiny tiles on the floor made it look dirty all the time. Acoustics was horrible. Above us was an Asian family…… felt like 10 people there, they were screaming, laughing, running in the room until the late night and you can hear absolutely all! And the worst thing was a lot of insects on our bed - dead and alive, flying, scrolling. So first night was a nightmare….. but we managed to change it for a bungalow and it was absolutely lovely. Nice design, silent, very clean, no insects inside. Food in the hotel restaurant is not the best. First evening we had there fried fish, they brought it fully covered in ketchup. One of the waitresses recognized Slav face in me and was constantly trying to speak in broken Russian with me and my husband, even after we said I am Ukrainian and my husband is Turkish, he doesn’t understand Russian and I don’t want to hear it. So we never ate there again. But breakfast was very nice, not very wide variety, but all super fresh. absolutely lovely egg station. Somehow they manage to cook each type of eggs in the very delicious way. Few words about beach and island itself. We traveled in the beginning of June and I was searching a lot of about life and activities on the island before coming….. couldn’t find much, so was relying on google maps showing a lot of bars and restaurants around. So, it is pretty frustrating, absolutely everything closed because it is a rain season. Beach looks very abandoned, only few hotels work, all other places look like people left in hurry and didn’t care about anything. In the storm beach is full of sharp glass and other trash and no one cleans it. You need to watch your step all the time. But I can imagine in the season and good weather it must be a very nice wide and still silent beach to walk. Nature is absolutely crazy, so many birds, lizards, snakes and other living things even on the territory of the hotel. Also they are taking care about two lovely cats, so we were constantly buying them some treats and wet food.

We loved everything about this resort, but the fantastic service was the highlight. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our whole stay. We will definitely be back!

Stayed at Holiday Style Ao Nang Beach and had a pleasant experience. The location is great—very close to the beach and the Landmark Night Market, which is perfect for evening walks and trying local food. It’s a bit of a walk to the nearest 7-Eleven, but there are plenty of new restaurants nearby, so finding food is easy. The swimming pool is quite big and looks perfect for families or groups. I enjoyed relaxing by the pool—it has a very chill and peaceful vibe. The room is clean, comfortable, and has everything needed for a short stay. Overall, it’s a nice and quiet place to stay in Ao Nang with good value for money. Would recommend for those looking for a relaxing beach holiday.

Golden Beach Resort was far above my expectations. I paid a budget price but what I got was a very high level experience. The hotel is situated on the beach and has an amazing pool. The breakfast is also above average. I would definitely come back.

We had the best time at Twin Lotus. All employees are super nice & helpful. We stayed there for 3 nights, in the rooms near the beach,very recommended. On arrival, we received a room that had no roof to its balcony, plus it was connected to another room. The reception staff was helpful & let us move to another room with the required balcony roof for the following 2 nights. Breakfast is good and varied. We chose to use the hotel's offers for a rented motorbike & and island hopping, although you can find it cheaper in town. But you can try and negotiate if you'd like. All in all, I highly recommend staying at the twin lotus hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at Cosi Krabi! The atmosphere was great, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is right in the heart of Ao Nang, close to local food, attractions, and everything you need. There’s also convenient parking available. I really enjoyed my time here and will definitely stay again the next time I visit Ao Nang.

Very cool. We got welcome drinks which was good and refreshing. But didn’t check in before 2 pm because of so rush season. Have good breakfast but night service over phone not up to the mark. But I left my phone charger in the room but from hotel management send it to Bangkok which was really appreciable. I should mention the location was totally perfect spot because no need to walk from ferry place. Recommended.
