The hotel boat's location is fantastic. Parliament, Margaret Island, and a wide variety of restaurants are all within easy walking distance. The accommodation itself, however, is very outdated. The booking confirmation is barely worth the paper it's printed on. We had specifically booked a river view room and received confirmation. In the end, though, they told us they were fully booked, and we were given a tiny room overlooking the dock wall (i.e., no view of anything). The advertised parking space turned out to be a public parking lot in Budapest's most expensive parking zone. You also won't find a hairdryer in the room. Breakfast was remarkably unremarkable. If you like retro style, you'll be happy. But apart from chlorine-based cleaning products, they haven't invested in anything here. They're milking this place dry.

The bathroom was terrible; the toilet and shower flushed terribly. The hairdryer didn't work, and the room was unbearably hot. A very uncomfortable stay.

Nice location, ideal for tourists. It's about few mins away from the subway and groceries, and provides easy access to Hero's Square. The breakfast is a definite highlight and a great way to start the day. The only minor inconvenience is the lack of in-room tea/coffee facilities.

I had a wonderful experience staying at the Danubius Hotel Hungaria City Center. The location was perfect — close to the city center and very convenient for public transportation. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and professional. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely stay again on my next visit to Budapest!

The hotel boasts an excellent location right by the Danube River in Buda. It's very close to major attractions like Fisherman's Bastion and Buda Castle, all within a 10-15 minute walk. In the evenings, strolling along the Danube is a must, as the scenery on both banks is absolutely beautiful. There's also a bus stop less than a 5-minute walk away, where you can buy single-use or multi-day travel passes, which is incredibly convenient for independent travelers. The rooms, while not spacious, are clean and well-maintained. However, I wouldn't recommend booking a room with a balcony. The balconies are small, very close to neighboring ones, and lack any partitions, meaning zero privacy. Breakfast was decent, and the Greek yogurt was particularly delicious. Plus, on the ground floor, fruit tea and hot water are available all day, which was a very convenient touch.

The guy at the reception was rude when I first came to store my luggage. Never saw him again later, not sure if he is the boss. Anyway he was nice to the other guy came in later, who was obvious local speaker. Also quite noisy at night, other guests came in and out making big noise. Other things were good. Quite nice location. Good to have a kitchen.

I really love the hotel & the building. Location is great as next to the metro and just 6minutes walk to airport bus stop (100E) One of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stay and the staff is really helpful. I highly recommend it.

Hotel had everything we needed and the staffs were really nice! It is also very near a metro station, supermarket, and good food. Only down side is that the carpet is slightly stained (might be hard to maintain), otherwise all other facilities was really clean and nice. Also note that it might not be for light sleepers as the road sounds are loud and every hour you’ll get big honking/sirens wailing.

The hotel is right on the Buda fisherman bastion the best location,a little pricey. Disappointed due to no air conditioning hotel said they put off air conditioning during this season Starting October. Most of Europe does this. They instructed us to just open windows,if a person has respiratory issues it would affect their breathing. The temperature of the room is not consistent near the window is cold away from the window is hot, Otherwise it is a good place to stay.

I stayed here for 3 nights in a 4-person dormitory room, under a bunk bed, just after the New Year. Location - 1 minute walk from M3 subway. - 1 minute walk from supermarket. - Near tourist restaurants and souvenir shops. - There are beggars and homeless people, but there are many regular people, so it's not too worrying. Accommodation - It's hard to find the way from the entrance to the reception, but if you look carefully at the photos beforehand, you shouldn't get lost. - There is a shared living room. They do wine tastings and promote it on WhatsApp. - There is a fridge, cutlery, and a trash can. Room - Beds are assigned. - No bed curtains. - 2 C-type outlets. - There was a light, but it was broken. - Large lockers. - Towels provided. - Air conditioning and oil heater. It's warm even without the air conditioning. - There is one shower and toilet. - The shower drainage is bad as the reviews say, but it washed away while I was washing my hair. - Some people may be concerned about dust on the carpeted floor. It would be perfect if there were bed curtains! Two guests who arrived at 3AM were woken up early by the lights being turned on, so I wish there were curtains haha I guess I'll just have to deal with it with an eye mask. Other than that, it's totally acceptable.

MMarcela C.Great location. Female dorm has beds separated by walls and curtains, that gives you a lot of privacy. Huge lockers with lock included. 2 showers, 2 toilets and 3 sinks inside the dorm. Spotless kitchen with 2 fridges, 2 microwaves and 2 kettles. Nice backyard to chill. The only negatives that I found is that the pillow is too hard and thin for me (but it could like to some people). The backyard is open 24 hours and that's not good, because as there is no air conditioner in the dorm and it is summer time, the windows have to be open even at night, and then you have people drinking, smoking and talking loud all night. The staff is very professional and polite.

RRumpunchqueenMy recent stay at the Kozmo Hotel Suites and Spa in Budapest was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the experience was luxurious and flawless. Here’s why this hotel deserves all five stars: 1. Warm Welcome and Check-in: Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly and attentive staff who immediately made us feel at home. The check-in process was seamless, and they provided us with a helpful overview of the hotel’s amenities, spa services, and nearby attractions. The lobby itself is stunning, with modern decor and a welcoming atmosphere. 2. The Room: We stayed in one of the Kozmo Rooms, which was beautifully appointed with elegant, contemporary furnishings. The spaciousness of the room was impressive, with a separate living area, a comfortable king-size bed, and floor-to-ceiling windows that offered breathtaking views of the city. The room was immaculately clean, and the design was both stylish and practical. Every detail, from the plush linens to the luxurious bathroom amenities, screamed luxury. 3. The Spa: The spa at Kozmo Hotel is truly a hidden gem! After long days of exploring the city, we treated ourselves to a massage and some time in the sauna. The staff at the spa were professional and the treatments were incredibly relaxing. The heated pool and whirlpool were the perfect spots to unwind, and the ambiance in the spa area was tranquil, with soft lighting and calming music. 5. Location: The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring Budapest. It’s situated in the heart of the city, within walking distance to many of the major attractions, including the Danube River, Parliament, and St. Stephen’s Basilica. There are also plenty of cafés and shops nearby, making it easy to experience the best of Budapest’s culture and cuisine. 6 Exceptional Service: What truly sets Kozmo Hotel apart is the level of service. Every staff member we encountered was courteous, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing stay. They provided great recommendations for restaurants and activities, and they were always ready to assist with any request we had. Final Thoughts: Kozmo Hotel Suites and Spa is the perfect blend of elegance, comfort, and top-tier service. Whether you’re visiting Budapest for leisure or business, this hotel provides a luxurious retreat in the heart of the city. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly five-star experience. We can’t wait to return!

GGeiorgiestravelsI stayed for 6 nights in an 8 bed female dorm with en-suite. Bed is comfortable and each one has a lamp , plug socket, privacy curtain, small lock box on wall within bed space and an under bed storage box that is big enough to hold a carry on suitcase (need own padlock). The room is spacious enough to not feel cramped even with 4 bunk beds. There are hooks on the side of the bed and walls. The en-suite shower room had a hairdryer and soap/shampoo in the cubicle. There is also a washroom in the corridor. Rooms are cleaned each morning. Room has heavy blackout style curtain and there are two lights meaning the smaller light near the door can be put on by someone arriving late. I had no problems sleeping. Roommates are the luck of the draw; all mine were quiet and respectful. The hostel is in a charismatic old building yet modern and clean. The beds are spacious and comfortable to be in, also lounge areas, dining areas and separate work areas with tables being used by people on computers. Free WiFi is stable throughout. Kitchen area has multiple cooking hobs, necessary cooking equipment and even a toasted sandwich maker which I enjoyed making use of. The hostel is clean, well organized and designed well for travelers. It is not a party hostel and a quiet place to chill, I.e. not the place for someone who is looking for a bar and active social scene within the hostel though everyone I met was friendly. Feels safe and secure with keycard access. The location is great; being less than 5 min walk from Fovam Ter means lots of transport links for bus, tram or metro. I arrived and departed by FlixBus and bus 83 provides a direct 25 min route to the bus station. The hostel is right next door to the Great Market Hall in which there is an Aldi to buy cooking basics and all the market stalls for Hungarian specialties and souvenirs. Easy walking distance to the historic centre and places tourists would want to go. I would definitely stay again.

SSoh KTVery very troublesome. Trip.com tried to contact me few days before my stay asking for my email for the hotel to send me instructions. Need to download app etc. Very late check in at 4pm for me. Waited since 12.30pm with my luggages. No luggage storage. Not just me, outside the hotel there were 4 other groups of people waiting and keeps refreshing their email waiting for the check in. Check out at 10am, I have no idea why 3pm still can't finish cleaning. During my 3 day stay there were no cleaning at all so what are you busy with?
