The location is right next to the train station, which is super convenient for getting around. The shower pressure was great and really comfortable, and the bed was comfy too. Very satisfied.
Hygiene: Good
The location is super convenient, right across from the train station. The hotel decor has a very British feel to it, and the rooms are on the smaller side. However, they charge a £50 deposit per night. Since it was charged to my credit card, it hasn't been refunded yet (it'll take at least a month to process).
We love staying at the Staybridge Suites, it's a favourite place to stay in Newcastle! Apartments are excellent and nice to see some upgrade work taking place, breakfast is 5 star with so much choice and staff are all so friendly and pleasant! Thanks for a great stay again!
Good location, only 10 minutes walking distance from good restaurants. Very nice bed and shower. Good breakfast as well but the gluten-free options were very very limited.
The hotel needs updating, staff friendly, the gym & pool we had to pay for, that was disappointing as we stayed 3 night, it was extra money we hadn't accounted for, we haven't had to pay to use them facilities in other hotels.
Frankly, the size of the room is beyond my imagination, very spacious apartment. The kitchen has everything that should be set. You can make breakfast and dinner yourself. We have one night to make our own seafood dinner. You can wash clothes. It feels like home. The facilities are old. Travel is also very convenient, very close to the train station and supermarket, will consider here next time.
Wow when this place opens it’s going to be amazing. I was lucky enough to be allowed a quick look around and with the bar down stairs and in a great location this will be a fantastic place to stay. Thanks again for being one of the first to see it
Stayed for a weekend while visiting the area. Really great hotel. Rooms are modern and comfy. Breakfast was very tasty and great selection. Staff friendly. 10 minutes walk to the metro station to get into Newcastle or to the airport. Toby carvery next door for a nice meal. Shops and supermarkets as well as the usual fast foods a couple of minutes walk. Highly recommended.

GGuest UserNice large river view room. Bathroom dated we had a problem with bath plug got stuck so had to call reception who promptly came and hit plug with large screwdriver to release it. Before the receptionist left room i tried it to ensure we could have bath and water would drain away. Plug stuck again looking at it it had several gouges in metal where it has obviously hit on numerous occasions to free it. This meant we could not have a bath and only shower because closing the plug hole it became firmly stuck. Not good enough repairs should be carried out. Shower gel top fell off and went down plug hole so we could only wash in shampoo.
RRafa PiroloGood location, only 10 minutes walking distance from good restaurants. Very nice bed and shower. Good breakfast as well but the gluten-free options were very very limited.

GGuest UserPleasant view on residential garden, and the location is accessible to the town centre by bus. The breakfast pack provided is great for a hurry up to catch the quick pace on journey.
GGuest UserBooked a room away from the lift. Gave us a room next to the lift. Went down to see ifcwe could get it changed as we wanted a quiet room On check in we requested this so obviously next to the lift facing the stack is not a quiet room. Next room was directly above the hotels air conditioning unit gave up as obviously the receptionist was having a serious customer service melt down especially when we went out 10 minutes later and she called over ..is that room OK for you? Obviously not as the air conditioning unit screamed all night long we just said yes as what was the best room going to be ?? Certainly will not be back thanks to the totally piss taking receptionist
KKing KouaméIt wasn't the best of experiences and I believe had we addressed some of the issues we came across sooner, things would have been different. There was a poignant smell in our bathroom and in all fairness we should have mentioned it sooner rather than expecting it to disappear on its own. When we did address it, we were moved into a different room instantly. The rooms could do with a bit more cleaning when it came to dust and hair in various areas. Will still recommend it.
KKamalskiThe hotel is conveniently located right next to NCL airport with private parking and wonderful staff. The hotel offers early breakfast which is fantastic for early fliers. They also have a gym with a great view!
SSuk HaThe cleanliness of the hotel deteriorated, and the furniture and fixtures were also torn and worn out.
The water closet had dirts inside on thd day when we arrived. The dirts still attached to the water closet when we left.
The mattress was not In good condition, it was not flat but like a shallow basin in the middle.
The bed also had problem. When you sleep on it and want to change your position and turn to the other side, the wooden part of the bed shook and create a big ”eat. eat, eat” sound.
The room door of all the rooms on the fifth floor were with problem, in order to close it properly. You have to close the door with severe force and result in a big ”bang, bang” sound. This is extremely disturbing to other guests especially when this happened when they were sleeping.
The hotel is old and fully utilized during the past years, it needs instant maintenance and upgrading.
PParnavsamOur experience at this hotel was fantastic.
**Location:** The location was ideal for nightlife, with laughter and excitement nearby. However, the hotel's corner position shielded us from noise, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep for our kids. It was just a 7-minute walk to Central Station and the town, surrounded by numerous restaurants.
**Service and Cleanliness:** We arrived before the 3 PM check-in and were allowed to check in early, despite the 4 PM policy. The room was clean and spacious enough for our family. The lobby had a lovely sitting area and a small bar, but we chose to explore the many dining options in the city instead.
