The room was spacious, well-maintained, and clean, offering a comfortable environment complemented by a pleasant view. In addition, the hotel’s location is highly convenient, with shopping malls and a wide range of eateries within short distance. Areas for Improvement: One operational limitation was the hot water system. The water heater requires approximately a 30-minute interval before it can be used again, which may be inconvenient for multiple guests sharing a room. Furthermore, the hot water supply runs out relatively quickly, making it necessary to complete showers promptly or switch to cold water toward the end.

Everything about this place was perfect – the service, the ambiance, the food, and the prices. I'll definitely be bringing my family and friends back here. I heard that during the off-season, it's only around 500 RMB, which is incredible value for money. This time, I visited during Chinese New Year and unfortunately couldn't book a sea-view room, which was a real shame because I bet the views from there are absolutely stunning. After getting off the boat, the first small booth on the left is where the hotel's reception and parking staff are. We waited about 10 minutes for a private car to take us to the hotel, and the service was excellent. The front desk staff, I'd say, were adequately helpful, but not overly enthusiastic – perhaps they deal with too many check-ins in a day and become a bit desensitized. We stayed on the island for two nights. It was the rainy season, so we experienced both downpours and sunshine. However, just before we left, the sun came out in full force. A word of caution: make sure to apply sunscreen everywhere! I got sunburned in just one morning. Honestly, the prices on this island are really low. I found it to be very affordable, and the service was excellent. There's a small shopping street right next to the hotel where you can buy basic necessities like clothes and shoes. I initially thought that a hotel of this size would have a more expensive beach club, but we ordered a whole table of food for two people and it only came to just over 300 RMB. Seriously, the service at the hotel's beach club by the pool was amazing. They met every request. I felt like I got more than my money's worth. And a heads-up for travelers: knowing English is really important when you're abroad.

Conveniently located within walking distance of the shopping triangle Grand Batam Mall, Penuin market and BCS mall. Rooms are nice and contemporary. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great service from everyone from the security, to front desk to bellboy, porter and restaurant staff and housekeeping. Overall a very good stay at the hotel.

Convenient location near food courts and shops, about a 15-minute walk to Nagoya Hill Mall, though the route has many uncovered potholes - walk with caution. Contemporary room design but poor housekeeping; towels and slippers were not replaced, and I returned to find no towels on the rack. Breakfast spread is extensive, featuring live egg and noodle stations. Overall, much needed improvement on housekeeping.

It’s not “just Batam” - this stay made the whole trip exciting. The location is absolutely perfect - walking distance to Grand Batam Mall, less than 10 minutes’ drive to Nagoya Mall, BCS, and DC Mall, and close to Harbourbay Terminal. Circle K right below the hotel, and Spa Central is just down the road. The service is amazing. Every staff member were trained well - smiling away and friendly. We even checked in late at night and received a queen-size bed, even though we booked two single beds. Breakfast spread was fantastic and made our mornings enjoyable. They had local specialties like Lontong Medan, Martabak Manis, four types of Jamu drinks, and keropoks. They also have a bar area and a smoking lounge as well. room was perfect. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was huge for a standard hotel room and included all the basic amenities. Extras like a coffee machine, chocolates in the fridge, and full glass windows were much appreciated. Smoking rooms are available, and they’ll deliver an ashtray on request. Overall, 10/10. I would 100% recommend this hotel to family and friends.

I recently stayed at Harris Hotel Batam and was thoroughly impressed by my experience. The hotel's location is simply outstanding—situated right next to the Batam Center Ferry Terminal, it’s incredibly convenient for travelers, especially those arriving from Singapore. I appreciated how easy it was to check in and head directly to my room without any hassle. One of the highlights of my stay was the excellent sea view from my room. Waking up to the sight of the water was refreshing and set a lovely tone for each day. Additionally, being directly opposite Mega Mall was a delightful bonus. With a plethora of dining and shopping options just a short walk away, I had plenty to explore, from local eateries to international food chains. The international breakfast spread at the hotel was impressive, featuring a wide array of dishes including delicious local Indonesian options as well as familiar Western choices. Whether it was the mouthwatering nasi goreng or the variety of fresh fruits available, I loved starting my day with such a hearty meal. I also want to commend the hotel staff for their friendliness and attentiveness. I requested a non-smoking, quiet room upon check-in, and they went out of their way to accommodate my needs, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible. Their warm service certainly enhanced the experience. While my room was slightly dated, it was generally clean, and the comfortable bed made for restful nights. The slight age of the furnishings didn’t detract from my overall satisfaction with the stay. In summary, Harris Hotel Batam strikes a perfect balance between convenience, comfort, and hospitality. The strategic location, scenic views, excellent breakfast, and responsive staff make it a solid choice for anyone visiting Batam. I would not hesitate to recommend it and look forward to returning in the future!

Room 706 I wanted to share that despite this is a really old hotel you can tell that they trying to make little improvements for example I noticed that the curtains are new. I believed the all of the staffs are well trained - bellboy, recept. waitresses and even housekeeping staffs keep smiling at you welcoming you and always helpful really thumbs up. I observed also every detail they have done to keep every corner of the hotel clean and tidy . Restaurant food is also delicious. Despite limited choice of food, the food taste really not bad. I like it that they keep their pastries in the warmer to keep it fresh, Again despite the smaller size room, it’s so nice to have a side table and chair to have our meals, dressing table and chair, a place for baggage, so many hangers a pair of slippers, fridge also working. All that we need for a short stat really thoughtful of them. I also find the pillows and bed very good and I slept very well . Hotel is unblocked so the feelings is good. Sound prove also ok. Doorway is also very bright. Just 5 mins walk to grand Batam mall and the wet market A2 and Batam city mall where we had dim sum so yummy 1-2 improvements is that the aircon is really noisy. Thought the towels smells good but there is a bit of stain 😬

Our 2nd time staying here and we booked a total of 4 rooms. All was good except that your breakfast can be improve with more selection like having a egg live station and a porridge section. Bread toaster as well was not working well, waited for 20mins and still the bread is not well toasted. We decided to go over to Golden View Hotel and pay for our breakfast on the 2nd morning. We had dinner on out first night but was disappointed with your dessert. Both the lava and cheese cake taste like it been kept for weeks, does not taste fresh.

that awesome 🤩 theme room. My son love it and the room very clean. The reception and the cleaner all very kind. If have playground that will be perfect and the swimming pool need upgrade. There have deer park nearby walk in 10mins. If go there, need selfready raw carrot to feed.

We had a very pleasant experience. The room was very clean and well-maintained, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade. The bed and pillows were super comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s rest. Toiletries were thoughtfully prepared and of good quality. Breakfast had a decent spread with enough variety to start the day well. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely consider staying here again.
