I dont really like Brittania hotels but this one i think is good, staff was really helpful, bed was comfy, its abit hard to fill the kettle up as the sink in the bathroom isnt adequate. But its basic money for basic rooms so thats what can be expected. I would come back here. Didnt try the food or the pool etc so cant comment

Amazing stay at Hotel Celebrity. Located very near to the scenic view, it offers great and spacious rooms. I stayed at room number 246 and the room was quite spacious clean tidy along with a private bathroom that had a bath tub. The stay was very comfortable and the hotel staff were very friendly and attentive to any query a customer might have. Breakfast includes bacon and other vegetarian options but there was just one spoon to use for bacon as well as the vegetarian options which can lead to cross contamination and for someone like me who does not eat bacon it was a deal breaker. However if a separate spoon would be kept to avoid cross contamination then it would have been even more amazing. Overall the stay and the locality is nice and the staff is quite friendly too. Would highly recommend Hotel Celebrity to everyone willing to travel to Bournemouth for a vacation or leisure time.

The room was extremely comfortable and the bar not too expensive in all fairness. The continental breakfast was very good we both went back to the room extremely stuffed the only downfall was we only had one night here , if it wasn’t for work tomorrow we would have booked another night. We will definitely be coming back again that’s for sure.

Antique hotel in a very good location close to the beach however no nothing is guaranteed by the hotel. There is no option to book parking (first come first serve basis), they can’t guarantee a good view to the sea even through you book a sea view room (you can end up to the side of the hotel which allows you a glimpse to the sea and that’s not what you really want and pay for). When trying to call the hotel goes to a customer service desk then they transfer you to the main reception which ends up with a dropped call several times considering the call is being charged per minute (we’re not in the 80’s, take some ownership for this please), if you finally get through they won’t be able to reserve a parking space at the hotel and guide you to park elsewhere (this you can literally do yourself without the hassle and waste of time). None of these (parking and room selection) are communicated precisely until you check in which in essence makes no sense when you want to plan your stay ahead. Overall the staff is kind and friendly so no improvement needed here, the opportunity stands for the hotel management who implement procedures and policies. The rooms have a heavy smell due to the age of the building, there is a brochure that explains refurbishment undergoing in that sense. Wifi - you can have daily access if you pay for wifi (I believe it was £7/24 hours) , this is also a thumbs down nowadays (tips: if you want to charge for wifi include this in the overall price fees so people don’t obviously pick on this or just offer it with the stay like a respectable business - a coffee shop where you spend £3 for a coffee offers it for free on a daily basis, think about it). Looking at breakfast - there is full English or cereal, oats and fruit. The terrace looks pretty nice, well looked after, a nice oasis to relax your senses listening to the sea waves. There is a chess board on a bigger scale just on the terrace, this if a nice setup and addition to the hotel vibe. Had a good welcoming. Front desk employees work fast and professionally. My room was on the 7th floor and I had a nice city view. Rooms are clean and all the necessary amenities are provided. Unfortunately there was no available time in the spa in the morning.

One of the best UK hotel stays I've had so far. The room was newly refurbished and tastefully done with high quality & well thought of interior decorating. Amenities were top notch and clean. The in-house restaurant has a good menu with ethically sourced ingredients, very tasty. The staff were so helpful and efficient, thank you team!

Amalia and the team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, especially as it was a last-minute booking and we had missed our ferry back.

Unfortunately the room was above the entrance and the main door was so noisy, couldn't sleep at all. As well, othe guests were smoking right at the door and all the smoke came into the room. Was nice and clean but a bad night sleep override it.

The hotel was beautiful, pool warm and staff lovely. Restaurant wasn’t up to standard but cocktails really yum.

The location is good and the hygiene is OK. The equipment and facilities in the room are a bit old. I stayed here for 6 days and overall I feel satisfied because it is not far from the seaside. I go to Bournemouth Pier every day to look around. There is a street to the north of the hotel that leads to Bournemouth Square. There are restaurants on both sides of the street. very convenient

Their room was on the small side but did the job. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Nice hotel, not far from the beach. Breakfast was good but was only until 9.30am. Rooms were nice, spacious and clean we had a balcony room with lovely views of the beach, the rooms were quite hot and no A.C which is needed in hot weather. The outdoor pool is heated but no indoor pool for when the weather isn’t good. Staff were helpful and friendly.

A good, cozy, clean hotel, close to the center and the bus station, conveniently located, warm (which is a huge plus for England), normal breakfasts.

The hotel lobby is beautiful, the restaurant food is good, the breakfast is rich, the waiter is very friendly, the service is good, the hotel is very close to the beach, the environment is beautiful, the water is clear and the sand is young! Highly recommended

The aunt at the front desk was very good at the service. I saw that we brought the children. Although the room was small, we tried to make room and add extra bed. The surrounding area is very quiet and parking is free. The restaurant service couldn't keep up. We had to repeat the demand several times. At dinner, other guests will sit down and serve the bread immediately. But we have to ask. So, I don’t think it’s like sloppy!

The room is clean, there are many restaurants nearby, very convenient, the management staff is kind, the breakfast is delicious

Hotel’s location great, close to seafront and town centre. The room smelt a but funny as you walked in and I would not have been able to open the window without my boyfriends help. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest it looked like someone tried to flush a teabag down the toilet and it was stuck on the bottom. The water pressure on the 3rd floor was absolutely rubbish, it would’ve been easier to have a wash in the sink. We did request a room with a bath tub, which we didn’t get, but on the other hand the hotel had a little outdoor garden with sauna and hot tub which we did use for additional £20/person and we did not regret it! Also the young man on the reception was extremely helpful.

I stayed at the George with my son for one night, and it was everything we needed. The beds were comfy, the service was efficient and very friendly, with appropriate Covid measures in place to make us feel comfortable and safe. Everything was very clean, including our shared bathroom. Due to Covid, the breakfast room was closed, so breakfast was brought to our room, and was fine - bacon bap, croissant, etc. As you would expect from a many-roomed guest house, there was a bit of TV noise from adjoining rooms, but nothing that disturbed us, and my son enjoyed the large TV screen! A short walk from the front and reasonable prices made this an excellent choice for us.

Cleanliness was exemplary throughout the property. The owner, who manages the establishment, is exceptionally friendly and maintains the place impeccably. The decor is tasteful and thoughtfully chosen, reflecting the local character and creating a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, this guest house offers a delightful blend of comfort and location. Highly recommended.
