Quzhou is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Zhejiang Province. We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton for a self-driving trip during the National Day holiday. Parking was convenient and free, the service was warm, and the accommodations were comfortable. We were extremely satisfied. The hotel is very close to historical and cultural attractions like Quzhou Ancient City Wall, Shuijingmen Scenic Area, Kong Family Temple of the Southern Branch, and Quzhou Museum. We went exploring in the evening, and the ancient city was bustling with activity – it was fantastic!

I booked Building 8. The stairs are quite steep, so I wouldn't recommend the upper floors for older guests. The toilet quality wasn't great; even after several repairs, it often wouldn't flush and needed a power reset for some unknown reason. It wasn't fixed by the time I checked out after three days. The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite Fushan Park, which is like the city's green lung! The breakfast was also good, with congee, preserved vegetable pancakes, cream puffs, meat buns, shrimp dumplings, noodles, and mini wontons – all very tasty. What deserves the most praise is the plate clearing service. The staff were friendly and prompt in clearing dishes, unlike some hotels where they push a noisy trash cart right next to the tables, which is quite unhygienic. The Shaoxing sweet soups are delicious; I ordered a Xiaoman (taro and red bean) to my room, and it was wonderfully relaxing. For the price, Shaoxing Hotel offers good value for money!

The developer manages the property meticulously, preserving the original charm of the old buildings beautifully. The guesthouses are uniformly run and fully equipped, making for a very comfortable stay. What truly deserves praise is the restroom: luxurious and impeccably clean, not only offering hot water for handwashing but also thoughtfully providing hand lotion. The attention to detail is truly impressive.

Is this hotel secretly Doraemon's pocket? They've managed to fit a whole universe into a tiny room!
The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of the old town. Wuma Street and Jiangxinyu Island are just a short, leisurely stroll away – perfect for a post-dinner walk. The room itself is definitely 'compact' – a testament to real estate being at a premium – but the amenities are out of this world! All sorts of smart devices winked at me, and with a single touch of a button, I could control everything. I especially have to praise the 'waterfall shower' – as a southerner, it was my first time experiencing the sheer thrill of a shower that felt like 'a thousand feet of falling water.' My loofah might as well retire!
The most unbelievable part? There's even an electric massage chair tucked away in the corner! After walking twenty thousand steps, my legs were instantly recharged after a session – it was so effective, I wanted to take it home with me.
And the food is just divine. I heard they offer complimentary breakfast, lunch, and dinner (though I only made it for breakfast). The selection isn't huge, but it's absolutely exquisite – the Wenzhou glutinous rice knocked my socks off! Mixed with fried dough crumbs and minced pork, it's a carb-lover's dream come true.
Here's the kicker: unlimited free roasted sweet potatoes in the lobby! Who can resist that? Last night, I 'borrowed' five for a late-night snack, and this morning I grabbed a few more to munch on the go. Warm and sweet, it's all about that 'socialist薅羊毛' (taking advantage of freebies) joy.
The service also gets extra points – not only were the staff all smiles, but there's even a complimentary laundry service! As a lazy person, I was thrilled; I almost wanted to send all my week's worth of dirty socks to be washed here.
In short, this place uses its compact size to create endless joy. They truly understand space management!

I originally planned to book a Marriott or Hilton, but switched to Nanhu Hotel instead. It turns out that was a very wise decision. The hotel's location is superb, perfect for a run or a stroll. You really can't beat it. The design is also very nice; the rooms have a beautiful, spacious Chinese style. The air conditioning heats up incredibly fast, and the view of the pagoda outside is lovely. Someone pouring coffee at breakfast was a nice touch, showing they're moving towards international 5-star standards. However, the lamb noodles, which everyone raves about for breakfast, were just average for me personally. Also, I really liked the red boat-themed ceramic cups in the room and bought some from the hotel. The front desk helped me inquire, and two staff members from housekeeping went back and forth several times during the process – I really appreciate your trouble, thank you 🙏🏻. If I had to point out areas for improvement, the dinner at the hotel was good value and the taste was decent, but the service was a bit slow. The air conditioning made a slight noise at night, and there was a faint renovation smell in the room. But for people who aren't sensitive to these things, it should be fine.

A short trip at the tail end of the Chinese New Year holiday, staying at the Tianlai Hot Spring Villa for 2 nights. The lakeside view, warm private hot spring, mahjong table in the room, and the thoughtful butler and housekeeping staff were all great. Plus, the Moon Bay Food Court was super close, and the kids had a blast!
The service during the Chinese New Year holiday deserves praise. Despite the large number of breakfast guests, it was organized and orderly, with efficient seating guidance and quick table clearing. The queue for the noodle station during peak hours must have made the chef feel both happy and overwhelmed! 😄
In the mornings, we hiked Renhuang Mountain to work up a sweat, spent the afternoons sunbathing and soaking in the hot springs, and evenings playing mahjong and cards. It was absolutely relaxing, and next time we definitely need to stay for more days! Hahaha.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The TV had a lot of very interesting shows including English language movies and movies with subtitles. The bar in the lobby is also very nice, the bartender makes very good MaiTais. Definitely recommend!

This hotel's hygiene is truly impeccable; the room was spotless and the bedding incredibly comfortable, making for a very pleasant stay. The service was also top-notch, with the front desk staff being absolutely fantastic 👍🏼. The hotel offers a convenient shuttle bus service to and from the airport terminal 👍🏼. Plus, it's very close to the hotel's subway station.

Cleanliness: The bathroom had a strong cigarette smell, even though I had requested a non-smoking room. This might be due to the room's proximity to the stairwell, which smelled heavily of smoke.
Environment: There are many breakfast places nearby, which is good overall. However, the soundproofing in the room isn't great, and I could hear noise from the stairwell at night.
Service: The attitude was acceptable.
Facilities: The elevator's down button was broken, so I had to press the up button to get the elevator.

AAnonymous UserThe room is clean and tidy. There are many books to read in the lobby. There are also free Hanfu costumes to borrow for taking photos. There are Tremella soup and tea eggs for midnight snacks in the evening. Parking is convenient. The surrounding subway is not very convenient. There is a villa garden next to it where you can take a walk and drink tea and coffee.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very good, particularly its excellent location within walking distance of West Lake. The room was quite spacious and well-equipped with everything needed. The bathroom was also quite large. Breakfast offered a large choice of food, and the gym was well done with a lot of equipment, though the changing room needs renovation.
One minor negative point was the cleaning service: on both days of my stay, the cups and glasses used for coffee or drinks in the room were not cleaned
GGuest UserThe room matched the online photos perfectly! The front desk staff were all very enthusiastic and even offered me water when I was leaving. There's complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby. It's about three kilometers from West Lake, and you can grab a shared bike right outside. There's also a subway station right by the entrance! You won't be disappointed booking here. I forgot to take photos of the room.
GGuest UserOn my business trip to Jinhua this time, I chose the Four Seasons Yijing hotel because of its convenient location. After my stay, I was completely won over and just had to give it a glowing review!
The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. It's just a 5-minute walk from Jinhua High-Speed Rail Station, so no hassle even with luggage. Getting to Intime City and Yongsheng Shopping Plaza for some retail therapy or dining is only a 7-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient for both food and shopping. The front desk staff during check-in were exceptionally friendly and patient, explaining all the hotel facilities. Later, one of them even offered to iron my shirt for my business meetings – such thoughtful details really made an impression! Plus, it's very convenient to get to Dongyang Hengdian from the Jinhua light rail station.
MM519593****For my trip to Ningbo, I chose the Pan Pacific Serviced Suites, and the service exceeded my expectations. Even before arrival, I had a dedicated one-on-one butler, Miya, who asked about my room preferences and arranged the room in advance according to my requests. This saved me time, as I was able to check in immediately upon arrival.
Miya also offered excellent recommendations for popular tourist spots in Ningbo once she learned I was here for leisure – that was fantastic!
Upon reaching the front desk, the staff were very efficient; check-in was completed in about five minutes, which was great and didn't waste any time. The room offered great views, and if needed, kitchenware could be provided for cooking. It was all very well arranged, and I loved it.
What truly deserves special praise are the swimming pool and gym. The facilities are very well-maintained, and they use excellent brands for the fitness equipment.
The hotel's breakfast buffet was extensive, including both Chinese and Western options, as well as local Ningbo specialties. The taste was superb, and the restaurant environment was wonderful. I especially enjoyed sitting by the floor-to-ceiling window for the expansive view. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Ningbo!

__WeChat41221****My expectations were fully met, and the hotel lived up to the hype. The only minor drawback is that check-in isn't until 3:30 PM (though earlier check-in is possible if rooms are available), but this hotel is just incredibly popular.
The hotel boasts numerous rooms with an exceptionally high occupancy rate and a variety of room types. Stepping inside, there's a magical sense of calm. For the same price, you might only get a standard room in Shanghai, but here we enjoyed a lake view suite.
The service was also top-notch; my family felt right at home, praising the hospitality. It was money well spent.
Even during the holiday, the swimming pool and hot spring weren't overcrowded, which speaks to excellent management, as reservations are required. Since it's winter, swimming was a bit chilly. However, there's also a sizable, slightly warmer children's pool area, which is absolutely fantastic.
GGuest UserAfter a long search, I finally settled on this hotel, and it turns out I made the perfect choice – it's absolutely fantastic! Even better than the photos suggested!
The location gets 5 stars, no doubt about it, as it's exclusively situated on its own island (Fulu Island). The room was even more perfect, earning 5 stars and then some! It boasted a huge private terrace, perfect for enjoying tea, chatting, and soaking in the stunning lake views – truly amazing! Our room type was on the top floor, incredibly quiet at night, providing a truly immersive experience with unbeatable views. With a view like that, who needs anything else? The items in the room were all thoughtfully chosen, and I was pleasantly surprised to find two bedrooms and two bathrooms – no fighting over the toilet in the morning, just perfect! All in all, every aspect of this stay exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be bringing my family back next time.
Oh, and a special shoutout to Jessie at the front desk – her service was excellent, very attentive, and highly professional. Thumbs up!
MM702023****A big thank you to the butler and hotel staff! From the delightful room upgrade upon check-in to the thoughtful and attentive butler service throughout our stay, every detail made us feel incredibly welcome. The butler was both professional and friendly, always there when we needed something, yet also providing us with ample personal space—the service balance was just perfect. The hotel's location is also ideal for families; our child's highlight every day was visiting the squirrel park downstairs. Breakfast was delicious and the commute was convenient. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to our friends and look forward to our next visit!
@@xuanbaoThe room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and even paid close attention to my special requests, doing their best to accommodate them. The location is excellent, really close to the pedestrian street and many malls that kids will love. You can even enjoy a night stroll around West Lake. It's perfect for families with children to explore. For a city center hotel, the value for money is great, and the free parking is a huge bonus! Highly recommend!
