I already knew from a prior stay that the reception will not know English for the airport shuttle, so I had gotten the airport customer service to talk to them using this app. The reception gave me a WeChat account, so it was easier to coordinate the airport pickup. For the transfer back to the airport, there were a lot of people waiting around 5am, so it is recommended to give enough leeway in terms of time, since the shuttle is every 20 minutes. But the ride is just around 5 minutes. The hotel even provided slippers.

I like to give compliments to the front desk staff. They were very friendly and helpful, even walked me to the room taking my big baggage. On top of that, I was upgraded to a better room. I surely would recommend others to stay at this hotel if they have a transist flight in FuChao

An absolutely fantastic stay at Shangri-La Fuzhou, and a special shout-out to Cynthia! My recent stay at the Shangri-La Hotel, Fuzhou, was an incredible experience from start to finish. It truly lives up to its reputation as a benchmark five-star hotel in Fuzhou, with impeccable hardware and service. I particularly want to give a personal commendation to Ms. Cynthia, the lobby manager, whose warm service genuinely enhanced my entire stay! The hotel boasts an excellent location right in the heart of the city. What impressed me most, though, was the service. I felt completely at home and cared for throughout my stay, especially thanks to Cynthia from guest services, who was both professional and thoughtful. Before check-in, she proactively communicated with me to understand my needs and arranged the room perfectly. During check-in, she was enthusiastic, thorough, and patient, taking the initiative to introduce the hotel facilities and provide tips for exploring Fuzhou. Throughout my stay, she consistently checked in on my experience, promptly responded to all my requests, thoughtfully replenished amenities, and even brought special tea and snacks. She even remembered our preferences, offering personalized service. Her gentle and professional demeanor made us feel incredibly comfortable. Shangri-La Fuzhou truly demonstrates the quality of a five-star hotel, and Cynthia's heartwarming service added an extra layer of warmth to our trip. The entire experience was flawless. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Fuzhou, and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the city!

This hotel has already won half the battle with its unbeatable location. Waking up to a view of West Lake right outside your window, and having direct access from the hotel to walk around and exercise, is truly exceptional. Being so close to Sanfang Qixiang (Three Lanes and Seven Alleys) and being able to order takeout from top-rated local restaurants delivered right to your door is another huge win. We indulged in countless delicious meals; we ordered from Tangmocha Tea and Yanjing Guanguan at least five times! The night stroll from Sanfang Qixiang, walking past West Lake back to the hotel, was absolutely delightful. Thanks to this hotel, my family and I now have an overwhelmingly positive impression of Fuzhou!

Very good hotel, close to biggest industry which is just a short walk opposite. Area is now much better than before ...food just downstairs ..kfc and Chinese restaurant in shoplots on ground floor.

The hotel is easy to find, it's just along the street with a big signage. It also a walkable distance going to West Street and Ancient City... You can also scan and ride an e-bike, if you have a Chinese number. I didn't have much interaction with the front desk, but the check-in process was quick. The room was clean and very spacious! Toilet was also nice and tidy. Will definitely stay here again!

The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was soft and large. I checked in late at night, and the front desk staff was very patient and provided excellent service. They even upgraded my room! The breakfast buffet was also abundant with a great variety of options. The hotel is conveniently located close to attractions like Gulangyu Island and Zhongshan Road, and getting a taxi was easy. Traveling with family, and everyone was very satisfied! The hotel is very family-friendly, proactively offering kids' slippers and amenity kits. The room was clean, spacious, and soundproof, so the little ones slept very soundly. The indoor constant-temperature children's water park was a highlight, and the kids had a blast. The Chinese restaurant's dishes were authentic, and the service staff were very kind. Belle at the front desk was thoughtful and attentive. From check-in to check-out, every aspect made us feel right at home. It truly delivered on both quality and service, making it a perfect stay. Highly recommended!

Well located. Looks fancy. Dated interiors for the room and not so clean. Very expensive mini bar and instant food offered in the room. Service was cold, as the hotel front desk receptionist did not smile not greet at all. All the staff also seem to ignore me and looked indifferent. Well located beside Wanda Plaza though. If there are better choices, give this a miss.

The hotel is super convenient, right by Lianhua Road subway station on Line 1, exit 2! It's also really close to Zhongshan Night Market and the 8th Night Market. Getting back to Xiamen North Station was also a breeze. The location is excellent, and there are so many fun places to visit along this subway line! The front desk staff, KIKI, was incredibly professional and attentive. She proactively gave us recommendations for local food and transportation and answered all our questions with such patience. She really made us feel at ease traveling in an unfamiliar city. Because of her, my impression of Xiamen locals is a perfect 100! The hotel itself was also incredibly clean, with no unpleasant odors at all. It was a very happy trip!!!! I rarely leave reviews, but I was just so touched by the experience. 🥹
