The hotel is old, but very nice. The windows offer a stunning view of the bay. The cleanliness of the room is at a high level. The hotel territory with well-maintained pedestrian paths on the coast. Polite staff. Convenient location of the hotel relative to the airport, you can even walk quietly in 30-40 minutes. Cons: Disappointed by the breakfast, meager and tasteless. And they could at least put water in the room. Little things, but after a flight this is important, especially if you arrive late at night.

Hotel Solar BOM Jesus was the perfect home base for my adventures in Madeira! 🏞️ The location is unbeatable - just steps from the iconic BOM Jesus church and a short walk to the lively town center. My single room was cozy and spotlessly clean. 🛀 The staff went above and beyond, always greeting me with a smile and quick to provide recommendations. The basic but well-appointed facilities had everything I needed. I'd happily stay here again on my next trip! 👍

The Porto Santo Hotel & Spa is an excellent choice for those who seek rest and quiet. Although it is a modest hotel, it is extremely comfortable and comfortable. I emphasise especially the sympathy and availability of the staff, which makes the experience even more pleasant. And the beach bar? Just spectacular perfect to enjoy sunset with a drink in the hand. I recommend!

The hotel is not exactly as in the photo. Some furniture needs restoration. Good location. There is a hairdryer, although it is not very powerful

Wonderful experience and the best hotel during our stay in Madeira. Perfect price and value proposition with a staff who are really customers oriented and friendly. Smaller hotel what is never overcrowded. Nice charming design elements. Very good breakfast with selection of local cheeses and meat. Real juice would be the only needed improvement and some pastel de Nata for the breakfast would add to the mandatory Portuguese experience. Otherwise 100% perfect stay. Excellent swimming pool with sea water. Yes. The rooms are somewhat dated but super clean and comfortable. I didn't came here to see golden chandeliers so l was super satistied! Excellent location and direct sea access. What more could one look for??

Good overall. There is an outdoor and indoor pool, a ping pong table, deck chairs...it reminds you of a summer camp. You have to go out and walk about 5 to 10 minutes to get to the restaurant and pool if you have rooms starting at 6xxx.

Great location in the Bay of a small fisherman's village. The view from the breakfast terrace was beautiful. Service was friendly and easy going. Public parking is available around the corner of the hotel (free from 8 pm to 8 am). Rooms and bathrooms are rather small but for us it was sufficient. Rooms are very quiet as windows to the small street are very well isolated. During our stay there was construction ongoing in the Bay (May 2023) which didn't bother us as we had breakfast before it started.

The hotel is in a good location and the sea view room which we reserved had a nice view of ocean. But, I need to mention that this hotel is not a 4 star hotel. The whole building is old and they kept it in an old fashion way. The bath is not good, they don't offer even water in daily service and neither tea. (which is expected from a four star hotel) The elevator is old and always full, really not suitable for an eleven floor building.
