Great Stay for a 3-Star Hotel
It’s actially bad at all for a 3-star hotel! The location is super strategic, making it easy to get around.
I booked the deluxe room, and it was very spacious, which was perfect for a family of four. The cleanliness was and there’s also a smart TV too!
The hotel also provides useful utilities like an iron and a hairdryer, which was really convenient. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a budget-friendly stay. Would recommend!
Stayed here based on a recommendation from friends. The room was a bit compact, but it was fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. The air-con was nice and cold. The hotel is conveniently located near eateries and supermarkets.
All ok except senior citizn have to climb the stairs. No lift.
For improvement :
1. To supply 2 in 1 coffee sachet 2 packet instead if 1 only.
2. To provide coffee stirrer . Hot water we have to take from outside same floor via coway. How to stirrerthe coffee. We never any spoon. At least wooden stirrer.
Check in was fast with no dep charged. Hotel parking is limited in front of the hotel, but I was told if you come back late at night, guest can park behind the hotel. For some of the room, guest have to access through the door next to the restaurant(door can only be accessed using the access card). Only stairs available. Hotel is located on a shoplot with restaurant in the same row. Do note that the restaurant only opens in the morning til lunch. For dinner guest have to drive out. Room was small and basic, TV cannot be used, no channel is available. Towel was clean but very dated and in need of changed with thread coming out at the other end. Same goes to pillow cases which turned yellowish. Toilet was OK with good water pressure. However cleanliness could be improved (there's cigarette leftover under the sink) location wise was great, right in front of the Jetty Kuala Perlis where people took ferry to langkawi. Good for 1 night night stay for guest going/coming back from langkawi. 20 mins drive to Kangar.
Near to Kuala Perlis jetty (walkable just 300meters, if you don't bring many luggage, if not just order E-hailing for RM4). Room was big with balcony facing the sea. Iron, mineral water, coffee and kettle provided. Breakfast included and was good (Fried rice, porridge complete with condiments, macaroni, toast bread, pulut nyior, pancake and sambal bilis, cereal, fruits, coffee and juice). Although the hotel quite old, but I satisfied stayed here. Easy to go to ikan bakar restaurant, mosque, jambatan Kuala perlis, kg warna warning, etc.) They have lunch buffet for RM15.90 per person.
Check-in was smooth, and we received a warm welcome from the staff. A deposit of RM100 was required. We booked two twin rooms, and both were very neat, tidy, and comfortable. The beds were especially cozy.
The hotel seems newly built, so there were no major maintenance issues. However, the air-conditioning in my room could use some servicing the blower and filter need cleaning, as the airflow had a clogged sound.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay with comfortable rooms, and with a bit of improvement in aircond maintenance, it would be even better.
Clean, new, and well-kept. While the rooms are a bit compact, they’re cozy and functional. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Great location too, with a café, laundromat, and minimarts nearby. Overall, a pleasant and convenient experience!

PPhilip06The night shift front desk staff was rude during check-in. When I mentioned my booking through the Trip.com app, he denied it and insisted they only accept Agoda bookings. Despite my efforts to explain, he seemed displeased and unhelpful.
The hotel is well-located near eateries and amenities. While it’s old and the rooms are dark, the price is reasonable and cleanliness is satisfactory. WiFi is reliable and fast, traffic noise is noticeable. There are no toiletries provided—only two small cubes of Lux soap. Overall, conditions are acceptable for budget travelers, but don’t expect much.
