Friendly & inviting staff. Our room was nicely resented everything you needed, wash items, offer bags & milk. Room was very clean apart from toilet bowl which looked very discoloured. Breakfast was nice food with good variety of food. Matteo was very friendly and helpful with a willingness to help in any way. Harry did a good job cleaning tables. It was a very busy morning at breakfast and these two especially Matteo were doing everything 😊

Lift in the hotel if you struggle with stairs. Hill is steep going into bath, and returning back to the hotel but there’s a bus stop outside so not a problem. Would highly recommend this hotel for couples or families.

The service at this hotel was excellent. Due to an unexpected change in our travel plans, we had to modify our original two-day stay, changing both the dates and duration. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, and kindly waived any change or cancellation fees. For parking, you need to get a discount code from the front desk, which brings the cost down to £17.5. Otherwise, it's £50 for 24 hours. PS: A few days after we checked out, an unpleasant incident happened. We had definitely paid for parking when we left, but a few days later, the hotel emailed us, claiming we hadn't paid and threatening a £35 fine. My advice to anyone renting a car in the UK is to always keep your receipts for parking fees and any other similar expenses.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, equipped with a mini-bar and a kettle. Breakfast was excellent, featuring a make-your-own waffle station. There's also a small gym available. A large overnight parking lot is conveniently located just a short distance from the hotel, which is great if you're driving. Just one block north, you'll find a variety of restaurants, and the famous Roman Baths are only a few more steps away. However, the front desk staff spoke extremely fast, seemingly oblivious to the fact that we were foreigners and struggled to understand. They just rattled on. This really highlighted a lack of consideration and customer service on their part!

Comfy nights sleep followed by an excellent breakfast. Would visit again if in the area.

I am very satisfied with the hotel I booked in Bath this time. It is located on a small hillside and should have been a castle villa in the past. The environment is very good. Although the room is not particularly large, it is enough for two people to live in. The decoration is stylish. The room is cleaned every day. The breakfast is also very good. In addition to the classic English breakfast, you can also order a few free items such as bread with smoked fish and scrambled eggs, which taste very good. The tea set is also customized and of good quality. The service in the restaurant is also very good, especially a supervisor named Tom, who knows some Chinese and is very friendly and provides good service. Thumbs up! There is a bus at the door of the hotel to the city center, which is also very convenient. Free parking for self-driving! In short, if I have the opportunity to come to Bath next time, I will definitely stay here for a few days!

Very friendly and welcoming, accommodating staff who are helpful with requests and a fab location right in the centre. Nice breakfasts. Rooms are exceptional value, albeit some areas / parts of the rooms are a little rough around the edges. Would definitely visit again. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Excellent location, dog friendly, breakfast was almost 10/10, slightly too sweet sausage and salty bacon but these are tiny things really

The hotel is very old and warm, the breakfast is also good, it is on the mountain and the air is very good. It is suitable for self-driving, but the location is not remote. There is a big traffic jam on the mountain road in front of the hotel early in the morning. The heating is very sufficient. If it is hot, turn off the heating and open the window to balance the temperature.
