Rest Night Serviced Apartments - Al Nafl

The room is fully equipped with TV, sofa and small refrigerator. The bathroom is a bit compact and the 0.8-meter bed is a bit narrow. Everything else is good and livable.

Overall the room and experience was pretty good - big room, with washing machine, microwave and various other things. There wasn't much service, but I want really looking for any, just a place to stay. There wasn't much in the immediate area, but it seems you need to drive/everywhere in Riyadh anyways, so it's pretty centrally located thinking about that. A weird smell initially in the bathroom upon arrival, but that seemed to dissipate... Overall a pretty good option if you get a good deal!

DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT COMING TO THIS AWFUL HOTEL even if it’s the last place on earth. I have never been disrespected, ignored in any business establishment like this so called hotel suits. Read what happened and judge for your self. My reservation was confirmed by this hotel on Monday31 of January for three nights starting on Wednesday 2nd of February. I had no contact from the hotel representative and to make sure everything is alright, I tried calling. Unfortunately, the hotel number was disconnected. I thought that since my family are in their way from out of Riyadh I should go there and make sure and that’s where the show began. I arrived at 2 PM. At the front desk, a man eating a sandwich and yelling screaming at one of the workers was setting. I approached him and ask about my reservation. He confirmed and said it will be ready around 4 pm. I told him that it is stated that check in is at 3 pm. He said it depends. I sat in the lobby waiting. Then I heard the worker saying that two rooms are ready. Meanwhile, the man on the front desk was talking to a family saying that all booking are cancelled and the property has been closed due to maintenance. I quickly went to the guy and ask him about the situation. He said yes all bookings are cancelled. I tried to explain to him that you told me to wait and I heard the worker saying two rooms are ready. He said we closed the hotel. I instructed him to connect me with manager. He said I’m the manager and the owner and with a smile he said “surprised you right”. More that three families were in the lobby at that time. All came to see if this guy is serious. He told everyone that he’s the owner of the place and he cancelled all the bookings with a careless smile on his face. Now, I have been to more than 4 continents, visited numerous countries, and stayed in hundreds of hotels, motels, and homes, I have never ever in my life had seen a poorly managed property. I felt like the owner and the manager is intentionally belittling and controlling his clients because they paid have nowhere else to go. Among the people waiting was an old sick woman came from Qassim and was pleading to get a room that she paid for and the guy refused and said we closed the hotel for maintenance. Why I was informed to wait and then 15 minutes before check in I’m told that the hotel is on maintenance? How is the hotel on maintenance and I see family entering their rooms? What about the worker who said two rooms are now ready? Finally, why the careless attitude and unapologetic behaviour towards people coming to this place? My: stay away from this place even if it’s the last place on earth.

Reception and check in is fantastic. Didn't find a towel, but fortunately I had mine with me so I didn't bother to ask whether it's a mistake or intended. Room is comfortable and clean. For my visit location was good.

My son and I attended the WWE Crown Jewel. The hotel was easy to get to from the airport and is in an ideal location to all major tourist attractions on the Boulevard such as Boulevard City, Park Mall, museums and the Arena Threatre to name a few. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone including families or groups traveling to Riyadh for a fun weekend or short break. The staff were amazing so friendly and helpful at all times. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Overall experience for us was 10 out of 10. Definately worth a visit if going to Riyadh.

Fraser Suites Riyadh

Stayed with my daughter for over a week as we came for a sports event to town. The premises are nice and clean, rooms are spacious and modern, corresponding to the quality one would expect from Fraser Suites brand. Location is decent. Breakfast needs to be improved for a 5* establishment. However, our biggest disappointment came from the reception and management office. We had a reservation for 5 days but wanted to extend for another 5 days minimum. We wrote two emails and never got a response during the day from the reception desk. When we came in person to the reception desk, we were told we has to change rooms for the next 3 days and then move back to the original room again. We agreed upon the price being the same, in particular as our stay was getting longer and could be as long as 2 weeks. We moved rooms and were ready to move rooms again. When I can to pay for the 3rd move I was told the price was double the original price for the same room. I was let down by management and said we would move out. The receptionist was kind enough to say he would talk to the manager and get back to me. We left for the day and didnt hear back. In the evening we were told the price was the increased price and there was nothing they could do as “the whole of Riyadh and the hotel were full”. We left and moved elsewhere. I wrote another email to the reception and also feedback to the head office in Singapore how we were let down as Fraser Suite customer / Fraser hospitality member by the treatment. What is more, I recommended earlier the facility to another family at the sports event. They secured their booking a day before our 3rd move for the same price that we had originally. As a customer - I am not coming back. We could have stayed for 2 weeks in Fraser Suites Riyadh but greed took over and customer service completely failed. I am still waiting for an apology… but even that isn’t going to change the lapse in hospitality management.
