1st time to Mossaz, previous one was Paxtonz. Difference is just amenities, very tiny details that'll make your stay a little nicer. I'll say Paxtonz is better. But all in still very very good value compared to hotel for the same price. Paid rm85/day for 7 nights.
- had sofa
- plug points on each side of bed
- bedside table each side
- toilet rack for clothes
- mini stove
- house key insert at the door instead of going inside to turn on lights
- wall decor
Parking whole day flat rate rm6. First 3hrs rm21, next 3hrs rm2. Tng/card accepted. 4 levels parking, plentiful. EV charge available too.

Really new and very clean inside. Easy to check in, nice and cozy stay. With the great location near ss15 and this price, there's really nothing to complain about. The property management is also responsive. Their security guard even guided through my whole way into carpark to find my specific parking lot. Would come back again if there's next time. Only minor cons about this property is the drainage system of the shower is slightly slow.
The place was homely and clean. The only setback is the poor programming of the elevator system. As i was staying on the 21st floor, most times i had to take the lift up to 25 to go back down to Ground floor because of the no of people who does the same from the lower floors. Especially during peak times.
Some days there’s also s stench coming from the toilets. And too many Grab drivers complain about coming in and leaving the Empire City because of (maybe) the lack of signboards from the highways.
Other than the above, my stay there was nice. The nearby Empire City Mall is certainly a plus point if only more stores are open.
Location was quite confusing. Instruction to enter car park and which lift to enter can be made clearer. Manageable to find. Check in process was quite long.
Overall cleanliness is good, except for sticky floor. Still acceptable for me. AC is cold. Towel also clean. Good sound proofing, can hear very loud highway sound in corridor but once enter room, all quiet (super plus point). Lack plug point for family rooms.
Swimming pool is nice for my kid. Didn't visit gym. Lift may take a bit longer if peak period I feel. As we get quite high floor. Stopping on almost every few floors. So buffer time for lift transit if you are exiting at peak hour.
Good budget stay in Kuala Lumpur. The room offers a nice view and is comfortable for a short trip. The swimming pool is decent and well-maintained.
Check-in was smooth, but the room floor was slightly wet when I arrived around 3 PM, likely due to recent cleaning. One issue encountered was the safety lock, which suddenly engaged by itself and couldn’t be opened from outside. Thankfully, the maintenance staff responded quickly and helped resolve it.
Parking is available but comes with an extra charge.
Overall, still a value-for-money option with decent facilities, but there is room for improvement in maintenance and room readiness.
This is my third time choosing the Maplehome suite. So far, everything has been very satisfying. The suite is perfect for families with many children like mine. It's also really close to the mall for Eid shopping. Will definitely repeat next time.
The pool on the 39th floor offers stunning views, and the room was spotless, well-equipped with pots, pans, and dishes for cooking – very thoughtful! There are also facilities like a gym. It was a really enjoyable stay. Plus, it's super convenient to just walk across to the mall for shopping and dining. Good!
Great location, very convenient, and they have parking. The room was clean and spacious, and they even left welcome chocolates. I stayed for two nights and didn't request housekeeping, but the cleaning staff thoughtfully left fresh towels and bottled water in an eco-bag hanging on my door, which was perfect as it didn't disturb my rest. 🫶🏻
Close to hextar mall, very convenient and very spacious. They provide everything and staff willing to help. Price very good. Will come again in the future.

AAshikin FadzilThe unit itself is clean and fully furnished, which I appreciate. However, there are several serious issues that the owner should address before accepting future guests.
1. Air-conditioning issue (major concern)
Please ensure the air-conditioner is properly fixed before hosting guests. During our stay, the unit became extremely hot, especially at night and even worse after sunrise. I was travelling with my elderly parents, and it was honestly uncomfortable and distressing to see them sweating while trying to sleep. This is not a minor inconvenience, it significantly affected our stay.
2. Inadequate cooling for unit size
The unit is spacious, even IF the air-conditioner had been working, one small AC unit is clearly insufficient to cool the entire space. With the AC not functioning properly, the situation became unbearable.
3. Serious bathroom privacy and safety issues
Both bathrooms have critical privacy concerns. One bathroom has a floor-to-ceiling frosted glass window, but one panel has lost its frosting, creating a large clear section where anyone could see someone showering.
The second bathroom has a large unfrosted window near the top, facing the hallway. I personally checked from outside, and it is possible to see clearly into the bathroom.
This is a serious safety and privacy issue, not a cosmetic flaw. These problems should be fixed immediately before allowing any other guests to stay.
4. Deposit amount and payment method
The security deposit is very high, almost equivalent to the rental cost, which already feels unreasonable. What made it worse is that the deposit was required to be transferred outside the booking platform via WhatsApp. The full check-in guide was only release after transfer is made.
One of the main reasons people use trusted platforms like Trip, Agoda, Booking or similar services is for safety and protection on both sides. I had already paid in full through the platform, and all my personal details were available there. Being pressured to transfer a large deposit outside the platform puts guests at unnecessary risk and defeats the purpose of using a secure booking system.
I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously as an opportunity to improve, rather than dismissing it. With proper fixes and more transparent practices, this unit has potential but in its current condition, the experience was disappointing.

Zzswanson_Room was spacious and clean, had great internet and amazing amenities including a skydeck pool and gym. Wasn’t a fan of the location since it was hard to get around especially with Grabs/Bolt drivers getting confused. Everything closes around 10 pm. It’s good if you just want to stay in Empire City as everything is walkable but we like to explore KL. Service was good and brought what we needed very quickly. Our view from our room was city side and it was a bunch of construction. Would recommend if you want to be in Empire City.

The stay was very comfortable overall, and everything was quite good.
However, there are two things that need improvement:
1. You mentioned on the listing that it can accommodate 6 people.
In reality, there are only 2 queen-size beds.
The other two “single beds” are just thin mattresses placed on the floor, which are quite uncomfortable.
2. The sofa and beds should be cleaned properly, as there seem to be a lot of dust mites.
My children slept on the beds, my wife slept on the floor mattress, and I slept sitting on the sofa.
We checked in quite late, took a shower, and went straight to sleep.
The next day, all of us were extremely itchy, like monkeys scratching non-stop.
The ones who sat on the sofa had itchiness on the back of the thighs, and those who slept on the beds had very itchy hands.
These two issues need improvement. Other than that, everything else was very good.
Thank you.
RRaeff »One of the best locations nearby KLIA, lots of great eateries nearby and very convenient. Just maybe needed a little bit of upgrade on the amenity, then it should be great.
GGuest UserLove the location, it’s close to the Central I-City Mall, and the city walk is amazing. Room’s clean, great running hot water. There’s a fridge, stove top, sink, microwave and washing machine. There’s one tv in the main bedroom and one in the living room. There’s also air conditioning. You can enjoy amenities like the gym, swimming pool and playground. You can get snacks and salads at the Koffee cafe in the DoubleTree hotel lobby downstairs. Wifi is also fast. Both rooms have wardrobes and they do provide you with hangers. There are utensils in the kitchen for you to use.
The downside is the service is lacking. They ask for your number to send instructions but I never got any. I called several times but they didn’t answer. I had to ask my husband to spam call them and it took a while before they even answered. The guards barely understood my questions and weren’t helpful. The parking path was a bit hidden and there were barely any signs so I kept going in circles and had to make several u turns because I couldn’t find the parking anywhere. Tried to ask the guards and they pointed all over the place and I was super confused. Finding the designated parking space was another issue. Tho they did provide video reference, it was still a hassle. To enter the parking we had to download an app for QR scans to get to the parking . Had to pay extra RM20 per day for parking. From the parking to the elevator then finding the door for the residence was a marathon to say the least. I consider the parking to the residence lobby far. If you’re with kids, I recommend bringing a wagon or a stroller to help with bags and children since it’s a long walk. Another problem is there were no places to hang wet clothes nor were there any dryers. Had to go across the road to the i city park buildings to find a self-service laundry place.
There’s a ton of pros but the cons had me regret choosing a homestay rather than a hotel
GGuest UserWe booked a total of three split-level rooms, but only two complimentary parking spaces were provided, and the third one was charged. We had informed the person in charge that we need 3 parking space before check-in, and he confirmed that it was acceptable, but upon arrival, we were still required to pay for the additional parking.
